Review of the taqureia inside Chavez. The food is not inexpensive, but it is delicious. The normal choices of Mexican food, burritos, carnitas, seafood plates and grilled pork on salad. The beans, rice and salsa choices are well made. Staff is very friendly, and happy to customize your order. They have sodas for sale, though you'll find them cheaper in the supermarket from where you can get them first.

The price is on the higher side and quality and quantity is meh! Very salty and no salsa bar is deal breaker for me. I ordered a burrito bowl and was expecting a flavorful yummy bowl but nuh. San jose has many great choices and most are much better quality than this.

Buyers beware when you shop at Chavez supermarket on Blossom Hill Road San Jose California when you purchase something they will not honor their receipt even though on the bottom of the receipt says they will take all returns they will not take all returns they want to give you store credit....

Today I went and try to send money to Mexico but there was a lady name Crystal on Costumer Service she was really rude with us she start goin off on us I think ppl might know the way they treat the costumers especially when you try to send money to your country I would like someone from Chavez contact me so I can Report the worker from Chavez Named Crystal that work as a Costumer Service she need to have manners for clients instead of being rude

I was openly discriminated here for not speaking Spanish. I do, but only a little and I cannot repeat the comments made by a staff member about my race when he thought I didn't understand. And the preparer gave me all the bad cuts on the chicken (dry and chewy). Haven't gone back since.

The food at the taqueria is awful. I ordered al pastor plate and gave me shredded pork like carnitas and nothing like al pastor with no flavor. Return it and asked for carne asada instead, but was okay. The food is not near Mexican food. It's bland and they need to bring in the Mexican flavors. Been there couple of time and this will be the last.

It's Christmas Eve came all the way to the store because sign says open from the street, but the security guy only letting Spanish speaking to go in that's just not fair I didn't know they're so racist he let the guy go in front of my eyes I will put my foot in this store not that they care, that's so racist and unfair

Cashier name Chelsea was throwing my groceries before I made a payment. I told her kindly to be mindful and handle the groceries with care. She responded rudely and challenged/mocked me to make a complaint to the manager. Shes unprofessional and requires a talk with higher management and needs to review customer service. What a horrible cashier to represent Chavez Supermarket.

This is a terrible, terrible, terrible store. The lady who was trying to help my aunt in Western Union would not allow her send the money because she said that she was being scammed I am her niece, I am not a scammer, and she was unwilling to talk to me on the phone or help my aunt out. Western Union talked to her and she told them that it was a scam even though I know her. It's my aunt and she was very rude, and she hung up on me.Do not go to this western union!!!!!!!

I refilled 5 water bottles here and the water is turning green on all of them, please don't use the Glasier water station. It seems they don't make any maintenance on the machine.
