Avis sur Great Wall San Jose
Everything was so fresh and so well-made! This is one of the best Chinese takeout restaurants in the area. We got the Mongolian beef, pork fried rice, and hot and sour soup. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the fried rice was one of the best I’ve had.
This place was so good. Food was great. The service was amazing. Place is clean. Super tasty.
Excellent lunch! Clean, fast, and really good food. Kung Pao Chicken comes with hot & sour soup, two wontons, and white rice. Nice proportions. Tea comes in a metal cup that keeps it hot for a very long time. $11.99 lunch makes it very affordable. Open since '99, I'll be back. Nice Job!
My old pals Wi Ting Limp and Ho Lee Fuk were up from LA, and in the bay area for a Jin Si tournament at San Jose State, and wanted to meet for lunch. They wanted BBQ and I wanted Chinese so we flipped a coin and I won. Not knowing where to go Wi Ting Limp asked some of the other Jin Si combatants where to go, and they all said the Great Wall is the best authentic Chinese Restaurant in San Jose! And it was Spectacular! 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆
I love great wall, used to go to one in the midwest...this place is just as amazing. Whatever they chose for me is fire, 10 outta 10 would recommend

This little hidden Chinese restaurant is the best in Willow Glen. The food is always prepared to perfection. You don’t get lemon chicken you get chicken with lemon. I think you understand what I’m trying to say. It was also nice to see It is run by the family
I had the shrimp fried rice and Broccoli beef with egg rolls the food was delicious you know how sometimes you go to Chinese restaurants and it's either too salty or not enough the flavor of the food here at China Wall was excellent the service was great as well and it was very clean
The food is very tasty. The place is small but cozy.
They are literally Underrated, super nice super fast and quality food. Family owned vibe and great flavor.
Every item I have tried is excellent My fav this month is beef chow fun
This is the best Chinese food in the Willow Glen area. I highly recommend it.
We've been coming to The Great Wall for over 30 years. From the beginning the food has always been quality. Now even our children are customers who are bringing their coworkers. We highly recommend this place.
Great family business with a cozy vibe. Love eating here for dinner. Good prices and portions, unique flavor, high quality.

Very good place to grab some popular dishes. Hot, fresh tons of flavor. Owners are lovely people. Well worth it. Wish they were open for lunch. Covid screwed that up and they have not recovered fully.

Was really excited to give it a try after reading so many great reviews. Disappointed! The food is absolutely flavorless and bland and cooked in old oil. Ordered orange chicken and sweet and sour pork. Pork was hard as a rock. Atmosphere — well, there’s not one. Service was great though — prompt and friendly.

I didn't like it ... Wasn't to my taste, ordered the house fried rice, broccoli beef and pot stickers ... Only thing I liked was the pot stickers and they were small ...
I have been coming here since I was a child Food has always been great, but for the past couple years, I have noticed the food taste and quality has changed .The food is just okay now not nothing special about it . And I definitely wanted to point out that their portion sizes have definitely changed they have gotten a lot smaller and their prices have gone up tremendously on all food items but their portions don’t get bigger. They get smaller. overall, food is OK. Just way too pricey now for a tiny portion. and their hours operating are terrible. they only open in the evening and are closed Sundays.

My family and I used to come here often years ago I would always recommend the restaurant, We Loved it. The food was Always "Fresh" and tasty. However, I was Very Disappointed with my lunch today. Really dry noodles, vegetables and meat in the "Great Wall Chowmein". I probably won't be going back again. :o(
I really enjoy the food and the attitude of the people who work there. However, what I don't like is spending near $100 when I dine-in, eating 1/3 of my food, then when I ask for the rest of the food to go they fill up the to-go boxes halfway. I can't even understand what would motivate someone to do that. More than half of the food I paid for is thrown out. I don't care what the reason is, it's unacceptable. Stop doing it. Give me all the food I paid for. They take it in the back to pack it then bring it back in a bag all tied up I guess assuming you won't check. What hurts more is I tipped 25%. Make sure they pack the food infront of you or check your boxes immediately.

Food was completely flavorless. We came home and had to remake everything with seasoning. Fried rice tasted like play-dough, hot and sour soup wasn’t either of those, and the meat needed salt. Spring rolls were good though!
