The waiter was so kind and nice! He described the details of menu easily. The food was so nice, the Stir-fried noddle's chopped steak was flavorful and juicy, The pho had deep beef broth flavor. You can add the extra sauce for more deep flavor into it. Overall, the atmosphere, service, food everything was great. Definitely recommened.
Went here for lunch due to their extensive menu. Wasn’t disappointed at all. Food was excellent. Highly recommend this place if you like authentic Vietnamese food from the central part of the country, ie Đà Nẵng, Hội Ăn, Huế.
This is a WOW Vietnamese spot in San Jose. Discovered this place by chance and boy was I impressed. The food quality is fantastic and they have special crispy fried shrimp rolls that are amazing! Excellent service and food.
My husband wanted to be reminded what mi quang tasted like. I wanted to try a couple of appetizers. We ordered mi quang with fried fish. Tasty, almost seems like a chicken broth with the noodles. I think I would like yellow noodles to the fish, it has more of a bite. I liked the fried gio and banh beo. Went again with friends for dinner. Fun seafood noodles. One with udon noodles in a broth and a dry vermicelli noodle. Both tasty. We doubled the banh beo order which were great. A bo kho with banh mi bread was tasty as well.
I have just came back after a long time because of the pandemic. Very clean and beautiful after being rejuvenated. The food still is good as before, just only thing missing was minced garlic which was usually come with a bowl of Mi Quang. I love it because it made the bowl so flavorful.
Fantastic! I’m so addicted to Mi quang it’s not even funny. There’s only this and the other place in Pleasanton I know of that offer it. This one was a little different but incredibly satisfying in every way. You’ll find me on the flight to Da Nang soon.
Bun bo hue is 👍. Beef tendon is like tapioca banh bot loc texture lol, make sure you dip it in the fish sauce with sate k 😉. That chả pork ham is hella good.
This is a hidden gem. Their tumeric noodles are bouncy and delicious. Their banh beo is a unique dish that I have not had at other places. Definitely go give it a try!
This is my absolutely favorite pho restaurant in the Bay Area. I work close by and bring my colleagues here too. One of my colleagues is as obsessed with this place as I am. The broth for their vegetarian pho is so flavorful! I always order the same thing and go about once a week in winter so, the ladies know me well there. The restaurant feels so cozy and inviting after the renovations, I love it even more!
Mi Quang Ga was good. Want to try other items here as well. Cute restaurants with friendly servers and authentic meals.
I was the only one there since it was in the middle of the day but I was seated immediately and served within minutes of ordering. Food was pretty good, could use more Seasoning in the banh canh but I'm comparing it to home cook. Would come back to try something else.
Big fan of their mi quang ga!! Been here a few times, and I always order this dish. Tried the nem nuong cuon this time, and it was pretty good. Loved the sauce.

Although Mi Quang Co Thao is a bit off the beaten path, the food is absolutely worth the trip. Their Pho is a standout—light yet flavorful broth with a rich depth of taste. It’s refreshing and doesn’t leave you feeling thirsty afterward, which likely means they use minimal MSG, relying instead on the natural flavors of fresh ingredients. The beef is tender, and the noodles have the perfect texture, making every bite satisfying. Overall, if you’re a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, this place is a must-visit. The location might not be the most convenient, but the quality of the food makes it well worth the journey!

We were craving central Vietnamese food after visiting Hoi An and we are so glad to see Cao Lau on the menu. The restaurant is very clean and have nice decor. We ordered the Banh Beo (water fern cake), Mi Cao Lau, and Mi Quang Ca. Everything was very delicious and came out quickly. The Mi Cao Lau was very flavorful but a bit salty for our preference. Service was also very friendly and good on a slow Saturday night. They have a parking lot. They also have a karaoke stage that it looks like Friday is the fun night.
Water Rice Fern and Bun Bo are my cup of team 😁😁😁😁. Mi Quang maybe not my taste because my tongue feels too much oil. Overall, RECOMMENDED!!!

Was in the area for a short time and needed some Pho nearby. Waiter was very kind, Pho broth was clean although flavorful and can just eat as is and just the right amount of grease. Reason for 4 star was because i didnt try the other dishes yet, but will be back to update. Thanks for the delicious Pho Mi Quang Co Thao.

A Delicious Revisit After 6 Years After a long gap of 6 years, I found myself returning to this restaurant and ordering Mi Quang. The food remains as delicious as I remembered it to be. Not every dish on the menu hits the mark — there were a few that did not meet my expectations. However, the dishes I ordered today were excellent; the Mi Quang was flavorful and satisfying, a true delight for my palate. In addition to the Mi Quang, I also tried their Pho Ga. This dish was equally commendable and added positively to my dining experience here. Overall, despite some dishes falling short, others like Mi Quang and Pho Ga reaffirmed why I fell in love with this place six years ago. It’s always nice when some things don't change!
Easy parking. Food was average. Pho broth had a unique taste (some extra herb?), which I personally did not enjoy.
Maybe return. Central Vietnamese style food. Inside atmosphere didn’t feel much Vietnamese. Sports playing on the TVs, no Vietnamese music. There is a stage where I think they do Karaoke on weekends. Mi cao lau was ok, but too much oil. Nui xao bo phile was pretty good, but I wish there was less oil and more seasoning. If I return, I will try banh beo and the bun bo hue.

Waited almost 50 minutes for my order and still didn’t get served, so I had to take it to go. When I opened the box at home, the meat smelled spoiled and was clearly not fresh. Very disappointing experience after such a long wait — will not be returning.

So gross!!! We found a dead cockroach in our food. So disappointed. This has been our go to place for lunch. The lady owner always friendly to us, but when this nasty incident happened she basically ignored us. The waiter apologized, but not the lady owner. Btw, we paid for the food and definitely won't come back. Disappointed and gross.
