Avis sur Tee Nee Thai San Jose
This Thai restaurant offers the most authentic Thai food I’ve ever had! We always order one of their curries, Tom Kha soup, or Tom Yum soup depending on our mood. We also love their fried rice, drunken noodles, fresh spring rolls, and papaya salad. The dishes have been consistently delicious for the past two years that I’ve been coming here. The ladies who work here are incredibly sweet and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
I've been coming to Tee Nee Thai for more years than I can remember. They are wonderful people with fabulous food and drink! It's very small and not a place to go to if you are in a hurry but it's worth the wait! ❤️❤️❤️ Today's lunch was roti prata, pumpkin curry with added eggplant, panang curry, and rice. DELICIOUS! 🥰
It’s been a while since we enjoyed TeeNee Thai, and we’re stoked they’re still around. We always order too much, because leftovers are hella good. There was 3 of us, but we ordered enough for like 6ppl :) Tofu with Thai basil, curry, fried rice, pad Thai, roti and Thai teas…super delish. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and very attentive, and everything was very swift from drinks to the food to packing up leftovers. Again, we are so stoked to have a place like this in our city. Long live Tee Nee Thai!
I'm not sure where to start. Immediately upon entering, we felt welcomed by Julie. The warmth from her never left! She was amazing with menu recommendations. My favorite of her recommendations was the roti. It was served with curry and a peanut sauce for dipping. They were nicely sized & fulfilling. I ordered the yellow curry with sticky rice & an iced coffee. I don't recall the name of the dish that my friend ordered, but it was equally beautiful & flavorful. My curry was thick & spicy, just how I like it! No thin watered like curry, this curry coated the spoon. It was served with a salad, spring roll, a fresh roll & a couple of dipping sauces. Everything was amazing, I highly recommend popping in.
The place left a positive impression on me with its fantastic food and pleasant atmosphere. Our order of vegetarian pineapple fried rice stood out as a unique and delicious dish. In addition, I must commend the amazing service we received from the friendly and proactive staff. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional.
Food here is very tasty and flavorful! Had the Siam Seafood and the pumpkin curry and they were very good! The portions are pretty good so not sure why some people complained about the prices. It did take a bit for us to get our food but it was the dinner service. I would come back
Good selection of beer, tasty taco with duck, and spicy papaya salad which you can specify the degree of spiciness. Waitress suggested us to eat the taco first while the wrap was still crispy. Indeed, it's a lot tastier with the crispy wrap.
Came here at 8pm in a Friday with my husband and puppy and we were seated without much of a wait. The service was really good, the manager was very thoughtful and attentive. My puppy was a little fussy and they didn’t make us feel bad about it, and even gave us some water for him. The food was delicious, nice out door seating area and it was cute that they gave away little hearts for Valentine’s Day weekend. Can’t wait to go back.

Incredible flavors and portions. Awesome ambiance and very friendly staff. This is a definite top Thai restaurant on my list that I recently discovered and will be returning to frequently! Try the Long Song chicken for sure! It is too notch. Their mushroom selection is also top tier.

The best Thai restaurant in the SJ/Bay area. Excellent food, attentive & friendly service , the owner is the best - love this restaurant. It’s a gem. They even have a great wine list - wines served in crystal stemware. When I lived in SJ went regularly & now when I return - it’s the special go to.
Good food, very friendly staff. There’s a cute back area with seating, bamboo and some statues. Good Thai coffees and teas and boxes as well as lunch menu.
Prices are a little expensive here. I got pineapple fried rice and I absolutely loved it and would get it again. My boyfriend was not a huge fan of his tofu with cashew nut. Fried banana was extremely delicious however. Service was fine, it seemed like they had a lot going on but nothing went seriously wrong.
My work colleagues and I had an early dinner at Tee Nee Thai on a Wednesday evening. It was not crowded. We were seated promptly and ordered a variety of dishes, tamarind prawns, yellow curry with chicken, Thai sausages, longsong chicken, and longsong tofu, with steamed rice and cucumber salad. Portions were ample, and everything was fresh and tasty. Service was helpful and attentive, and we lingered awhile without feeling rushed. I enjoyed the experience.
Food was good but a little overpriced. Place had some ambiance but also looked a bit chaotic in places. Great service. I gave it four vs five stars because of the feel of the place was a little sticky like a place gets with age.
Tried the Tamarind Duck based on another review. Definitely worth it. The Pad Thai is also good. The Red Curry could have been a little creamier. The Krapow beef was a little tough. All of the dishes were flavorful. It's a fairly small place, so I would recommend reservations for dinner.

This used to be my favorite Thai spot even though they were pricier. It's been a couple years since I've come here, and the quality has gone down significantly. The Thai sausage was still decent, but nowhere near what they used to be. After trying the beef pad Thai, which is now bland and overpriced, I immediately searched to see if ownership changed. Low and behold, I see a review noting just that. All the other wait staff were wonderful and friendly, with the exception of the one large lady who was extremely rude. She was disrespectful and completely lacks customer service skills. We will not be returning to this place and will be giving my business to Thai Orchid in Campbell. The food quality and customer service are superior.
Not the place if you are vegetarian. We decided to come here keeping in mind that they have a dedicated section on the menu for vegetarian items, however the food was not upto the mark, lacked flavors to be honest. Also, it’s pricy and the experience wasn’t worth the money. Pad Thai noodles were too thin and weren’t cooked well either, it lacked veggies as well even though we ordered vegetarian dish. The other two dishes: vegetarian tom ka pak soup and vegetarian PAD SEE EWE were okayish. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re a vegetarian.
Tried few dishes Vegetable Pineapple Fried Rice, Tofu Basil, Roti etc. Having tried different Thai restaurants, I don’t recommend this restaurant. Vegetables were undercooked and felt almost raw. Also food was bland with just salt and spice without any flavor.

The chicken pad thai was so bland, tamarind sauce was almost non existent, and mostly all rice noodles which probably only cost the restaurants a few pennies. We’ve eaten here before and it was fine, but we were very disappointed. We also got the pork pakrow, I said mild, yet it was very spicy. Our bill was $45 for low quality food, this was more like $5 food. Not sure if the cook was having a severely bad day, no thank you to them for wasting our time, gas and money.

We had called ahead to reserve a table, but it felt like the staff were in a rush to clear us out. Our food was served, and barely 10 minutes later, the server lady (with her pushing table) started asking if we needed boxes — this was like 45 minutes before closing. Even after we told her we were still eating and working, she came back within minutes with the bill. It made the experience feel rushed and uncomfortable despite the early reservation. Food is about ok, nothing special for the $100+ bill for 4 vegetarian dishes
We got SCAMMED here!! We just ordered 2 dishes- pumpkin curry and pad thai. Pumpkin curry was alright but the pad thai was soo bland even though we asked them to make it extra hot. It was rather sweet and not at all appealing to the eyes. There were only 2 pieces of shrimp and they charged us $6 for only adding 2 shrimp!!! When we gave our feedback at the end, they didn’t really care. This place is not only overpriced but not even close to authentic thai. Sadly we paid $60 for just 2 dishes.
