Tip: The outdoor patio is a major draw, especially with the fire pits, but it can get crowded on weekends. Try the Detroit style pizza and a flight of IPAs.

Avis sur Fieldwork Brewing Company San Leandro
From the amazing beer to the tasty food, this place does not miss. The fun Guy pizza Detroit style is very very good. I highly recommend ordering! The wings are also good as well with a beer to finish it off. Definitely will be coming back next time we’re in town thank you so!
Great spot, I’m sure the nighttime scene is popping here too. Their thin crust pizzas are bomb! I tried the coconut hazy ipa, delicious !
Love the beer, really come here for the apps. The wife and I love the shishito peppers and hummus. Light bites and a great atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, fun and quick.
Stopped here on the way out of town and was pleasantly surprised! We got 2 pizzas, wings, and a bunch of beers. Everything was fantastic and the bartenders were super friendly. Will definitely be back!
Largest FW in downtown San Leandro. Parking is a little difficult but love emphasis on outdoor seating with 4 fire pits and tons of tables. Also appreciate that they have an official water fill station vs. Igloo jug. Friendly staff! First location that has Detroit style pizza. A little burnt around the edges but otherwise delicious - I hope they introduce this at other locations as their typical slices are very thin and toppings/cheese fall off. Their wings were also more crispy and delicious than some of the other spots. Looking forward to returning!
*1/9/2024 The drinks are top-notch, and the pizza is a must-try. Loved it so much that I bought 2 packs before leaving. 10/23/2023 Tried their NIGHTTIME CREATURES Pumpkin Milk Stout - a perfect blend of pumpkin, chocolate, vanilla, and spices. It's like sipping pumpkin pie in a glass. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and a must-try brew. We also indulged in the HAIL MARY, with its beer-braised chicken, caramelized onion, cotija, mozzarella, garlic purée, Calabrian chili sauce, and honey. 7/14/2023 I recently tried their Aloha Vibes Slushy and Sour and Salted Seabreeze Gose, and both were beyond amazing! The Aloha Vibes Slushy was the perfect refreshing treat for a sunny day. Bursting with tropical flavors. The combination of tart, refreshing, and fruity Kettle Sour Ale packed with tropical fruit, hibiscus, and coconut [contains: Passionfruit, Pineapples, Tangerines, Limes, Coconut, Hibiscus] was expertly balanced, and the slushy texture made it even more enjoyable. The variety of craft beers they offer is impressive, and the friendly staff made the experience even more enjoyable! 12/9/2022 Fieldwork Brewing is my East Bay gem. Their beer flight is a journey of flavors, and the goat cheese dish with charred tomatoes is a delight. The Detroit Style Delivery Boy pizza is a flavor-packed masterpiece. This place never disappoints - always a top choice for great food and beer.
Beautiful, clean, huge indoor and outdoor brewpub that is family friendly with street parking nearby. Amazing beers, quality pizza, undeniably cool setting. Nothing to fix here, well run business
Always a solid place to hang out with some brews and pizza. A lot of outdoor seating with some big tables and some by a nice fire. Be careful sitting next to the fire though because you can only put your drinks next to it lol. Hail mary detroit style: Get! I love me some detroit sytle pizza and this place does it justice. Such a nice fluffy yet crispy crust with the most satisfying toppings. It just puts the thin crust to shame in my (controversial) opinion. Beer: Get (why else are ya here) Getting a whole flight of tasters is pretty fun as everybody gets to try everything and the pours themselves are pretty hefty too. Lots to choose from with a good amount of sours, darks, and light beers too. Food and drinks: 8/10 Service: 7/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Value: 8/10

Great place for food and beer. Nice inside and outside areas, pizza is solid, beers are AMAZING, and their flights are impressive. Service was friendly and quick. Strongly recommend.

The place is great, been there a few times already, the beer is always rotating and they have fridge for cans to take home, pizza is good, a bit over priced on the food but not there for the food, its a good place to hang out with friends. It's a nice open space, some chairs are kinda deep when you sit back, depending when you go, parking might be challenging. They won't allow you to bring food in, so be aware of that, even though there's good food place all around them.

Large, open-air beer garden that boasts many picnic tables and lounge chairs close to gas fire pits. Trees stretch toward the vaulted, open ceiling. Indoor seating is also available, but the patio is the draw here. On a weekend, it can get crowded. QR menu ordering is well organized. I prefer their Neopolitan-style pizza, as their Detroit isn’t as heavyweight as at other spots. Calabrian chiles appear often as toppings, and the Hail Mary is great. But so is a classic pepperoni. Don't miss the chicken caesar wrap or the tempura cauliflower. You can make a flight out of any beers you choose. Recent favorites are the churro cream ale and the Narrow Seas Imperial Porter.
Parking street and lot is available, accessible for wheelchairs, food is not good!! My pizza was burnt. Accepts pets and the beer was interesting in taste. Atmosphere on a Friday evening is good! Beer spot only 👌 dont recommend the food
This branch is a brewery place with variety of foods and pizza. Great list of beers. Indoor and large outdoor seating. Outdoor has nice large ceiling heaters with bench and fire pit seating. Food is fresh and delicious. Pizza was a bit oily but delicious. Kale Salad was fresh and refreshing. Great for groups, kids, meetups, and casual hangouts. There are big screen to watch sports/events. They have tickles orders and payments as well as front desk.
My wife and I brought our friends, visiting from out of town, and what started off as a great experience, turned into a painful one. Because it was their opening week, I'm going to go back before giving my final rating and thoughts on this Fieldwork location. This was almost a 3 star review, but the serving staff salvaged things at the end. I like the semi-open layout. Seating here operates on a first come, first serve basis. You can order and pay at the bar or via the QR codes at the table. Water is self serve, but it's a nice filtered water machine. The food was really good!!!!! The only negative thing I had to say about the food side was regarding the brussel sprouts. They were cooked perfectly, but someone got a bit heavy handed with the salt on that dish. The flights were well proportioned and they had several solid beer choices. With regards to service, the staff was helpful. It was pretty busy, but we still had someone pop over to help us with any questions regarding the menu, even though we couldn't order through her. Things went south with regards to speed of service. We arrived at 6:30pm, completed our order on the QR app around 6:50pm and didn't get our first food item until about 8pm (our beers came out in a timely manner). We wanted to try a bunch of things, we ordered the Goat Cheese and pizza bread (server recommended), Brussel Sprouts, Kale Salad, Wings and 3 Pizzas for our group. To make a long story shorter, we didn't get the majority of our food items until around 8:20pm and by 8:55pm we still had two items that hadn't arrived. I'm relatively patient and my wife was a server in the past, so we under how things can get when it's busy. My main problem was that people who came and sat after us were getting several of food items we had ordered brought out to them before we even had our first food dish. We got the items that didn't arrive removed from my tab and the person helping with that was apologetic and made a kind gesture to make up for the gap in service. Overall, this would have been an easy 5 star rating had things not gone the way they did. For now, I would recommend this place to others. I'll be giving them another shot and will make my finalized review based on my next experience, once the dust settles a little bit. Ambiance: 4.8/5 Food: 4.8/5 Drink: 5/5 Price: 4.4/5 Service: 3.5/5 Temp Overall: 4.5/5
So I've been to this location a few times and here is my review based on different times and experiences. I love the options of drinks, big fan of a flight of IPAs (pictured). I think they can do better for food by adding vegan options. I got their Hummus plate thinking it would be vegan and the bread is covered in cheese. Before 4pm this place is not so busy so its chill and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Depending on the day, evenings can be a different story. Can be so packed in the evening that seating is an issue. I found a space on a Friday once and was almost immediately moved because it was "reserved" even though the "party" was only taking up 2 of the 4 tables there. I can't fault them too much though. It's a great place and highly favored by lots of people. I will be back but definitely hope they add more vegan food options. :)
Great venue! Love the atmosphere here. Lots of tasty beers to choose from. Sours, IPAs, Stouts. The "Fast Food French Toast" is an absolute must try if stouts are your thing. It's my first visit and I will be back when visiting from Texas.
Dropped in for a couple beers- been to 4 or 5 Fieldwork spots now and always enjoyed the variety of stylings to its locations. This one looks like it was an old auto shop which I thought was pretty awesome. The main court area for seating is nice and open. On a cold it reading day I wonder how they combat such conditions, as the roof here is open. The service can be slow dependent upon the crowd here. The surrounding area is not particularly interesting since it is in a shopping center. The beer is solid, wish that they had more dark/ oat/ stout selections.

Awesome place..rolled down the projector screen so we cld watch the college championship game! My Brussel sprouts were burnt so I just peeled the inedible charred leaves n ate what wasn't burnt. Washed em down with a light lager
Nice newer Fieldwork location. Regular style puzza was good, little Detroit pizza was damn good. Fried stuff was good salads were great. Overall I liked it better than the Berkeley location...

As we got there to sit down to watch warriors game not a single workers came to approach us do we want anything, not sure what is going on with the customer service just not please at all didn’t say hi or do u want anything to drink or food we were there for almost 15 minutes, just bad customer service so we end up did not get serve
I took my little dog with me. There's waitress brought me a cup of Pulp and asked me "did you have leash for your dog? If not, you need leave". I answered "I did not, can you make my order togo?" She gave me a Togo Pulp. She did not even check or ask if I have ordered something else and came back for 5 minutes asked me to leave again!! This is the quality "BURN". Almost half of the pizza was inedible.
