Amazing service, workers are so sweet & helpful! Breakfast tacos were amazing! It’s a little on the outskirts from downtown but for the price & the quality I would make the drive any day. This is a new favorite spot!
I don't usually go for 5 Stars all the way through but the Carne guisada was so delicious and tender. Green chicken enchiladas were devoured in 5 minutes. Server was great and very attentive. I will be back very often now.

This is so good, the cheese omelet is amazing and the atmosphere is really cute. They have great coffee and they give you tortillas with your food.
This little restaurant offers in house made tortillas, their breakfast is prepared to order, and the mornings are peaceful as their regulars come in to start their day. I was there as they opened at 6am and had a delicious home cooked breakfast, able to be on my way by 6:30am on time for work. Also, their drip coffee is good. I will be coming back when I’m in San Marcos.
My name is Drake. Can I go there almost weekly if not, 2 to 3 times a week and get the same order. The sweetest old lady is at the counter that you’ll ever encounter. They have the perfect café atmosphere
I work nearby, and I've been eating here for several years. With my busy schedule, I'm usually ordering breakfast tacos for take out, and they are always on-point. The staff is fast and friendly, and the tacos are so good. If you enjoy spicy salsa like I do, I highly recommend their green salsa.

This authentic Mexican food restaurant is in downtown of San Marcos, the parking is great, the food is beyond delicious! The place is very clean, wonderful staff, I would highly recommend, I will always return anytime I'm on I-35. The prices are very cheap.
We split the difference on breakfast and lunch, which was a great experience. The best of breakfast tacos for my husband who had carne guisada and the "Bobcat". The baby enjoyed her mouse eared pancake with bacon and egg. I had the beef burrito plate. The chips and salsa to start everything off were exceptional, just enough kick. We will definitely be incorporating this into the line-up. Happy eating.
Breakfast & Lunch Favorites! Lorenzo’s always fresh & delicious. I love their caldo & menudo. Breakfast is always a hit! Tortillas are so very delicious! The waitress all are friendly and attentive. This restaurant is in deed a diamond in the rough.
First time experience was great! The pork chop dish with green chile & over easy eggs were so delicious. It looks like a store front, but the food tasted like my grandma's cooking. And the staff were so welcoming & genuinely friendly.
First time at Casa de Don Lorenzo. The breakfast was delicious. Tacos were hot and fresh. Homemade tortillas… 😋 Our server, Christina was extremely friendly and courteous. Santana was walking around and consistently checking on us and filling up our coffee ☕️ A++++
I have lived here 32 years and I never eaten Here and I been missing out the tortillas are homemade the tacos were amazing I would definitely come back and the prices you can’t beat cheaper than other restaurants
I have not had the pleasure to eat here yet, I have only experienced via pickup for delivery but can not wait to go myself. I ordered the beef fajita plate and ended up just getting a ton of vegetables and no meat. I asked the waitress and she noticed that the plate was different from what I have ordered in the past. I come here once a week and was extremely disappointed in my meal. My sister ordered the carne guisada and it had extremely to much pepper and the Spanish rice had way too much spice that was overbearing. Need to be consistent when making your meals. As a customer we look forward to eating good food, but when the way it is made is changed is very unsatisfactory makes a person want to go to another establishment. I added a photo to show that the plate ordered was all vegetables and disappointing.
