Pleasant & quick service of poorly prepared food. The burrito I ordered was soaking wet inside and did not taste good enough to make up for it. Chips were fine but the salsa was odd. But the diet soda was good. 😁

Tried Rodolfo’s Taco Shop in Sierra Vista today. The food came out nice and hot, which I really appreciated. I ordered the enchiladas suizas, two shrimp tacos, and a large agua de jamaica — total was about $30. Flavor-wise, it fell a little short for me. The dishes overall lacked seasoning and could really use a bit more flavor. The shrimp tacos also didn’t quite match the description or expectations. The enchiladas suizas had a tomatillo sauce that was surprisingly spicy, which threw the balance off a bit. Not the best Mexican restaurant in Sierra Vista, but not the worst either. I’d be open to giving them another try in a year or so to see if things improve.

Aesthetics are lacking. Seems to have been decorated with a personal touch by someone not familiar with interior design. Lots of handwritten signage around which is hard to decipher. The King burrito is carne asada, or some version of it consisting of chopped steak in irregular pieces without marinade. Pieces are a bit big to chew on, and the addition of green pepper made it seem more like fajita filling but also strongly reminded me of a Philly cheese steak/hoagie. Chips weren't very fresh and the guacamole was slathered all over like nachos rather than on the side to dip. Guac tasted like it was out of a industrial size Costco bag and had the texture of baby food. The quesadilla was the saving grace, which was enormous and very satisfying. Just needs a little work on the interior and I can't fault the chef for their particular style, but having grown up in Los Angeles I am spoiled by authentic Mexican food and this doesn't even come close. Everything East of California seems to be influenced by "TexMex", which I'm not a big fan of.

I usually have a decent experience here but this is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen here. The guacamole is old, the taquitos are under cooked, it is thrown together terribly. Do better Rodolfo’s :/

Food was honestly 4 stars, but finding I overpaid by $2 doesn't leave the best taste in your mouth. So buyer beware...the prices on the board are not what they are charging.

Food is decent, atmosphere and service most of the time has been god awful. I've been going here for years, mainly for the food, and have been given attitude and SAS for no reason what so ever. My order has been messed up more than 10 times and I have a feeling it's due to some of the individuals working there, intentionally messing it up.

(5 yrs ago) Good food, but there's always at least one thing wrong with your order. **update 2023** I am pretty disappointed with Radolfo's. The prices continue to rise, but the quality has gone down. Not only are they now charging way higher menu prices, but they are no longer serving the chips complimentary. Also, they have now implemented a surcharge for using a debit or credit card. Any changes/substitutions to menu items typically result in an upcharge. On this occasion, I got chips and cheese w/ guacamole and sour cream, and a beef & bean w/cheese burro. The total for just these 2 items was almost $20. Included with my chips and guac... A TOOTHPICK! Good thing I didn't stab my mouth or choke on it. At least I hope it wasn't used! Ick!

I used to absolutely love this place, but the prices have skyrocketed while quality has definitely declined. Pass on the cheese enchiladas as the enchilada sauce has zero flavor except a bad aftertaste. I miss when your food was delicious.

Got carne asada fries and it was literally smothered in sour cream and guacamole, it was more of a soup with like 10 pieces of carne asada, garbage

We loved this place. Went there almost every weekend. This place is dirty now. No tongs for chips. Young kids behind the counter cussing and talking about cheating on their partners. Owners of this place need to know.

(PLEASE SEE UPDATE BELOW) Horrible! Used to love this place but NOT today. The corn tortillas they are using now had no taste and were so thin they fell apart leaving me with a shredded beef & lettuce mush. The 'refried' beans were runny, with a consistency of overcooked watery oatmeal. Don't remember ever having such a tasteless, unappealing Mexican meal anywhere... what a waste of $13. Hope this was just an off day! UPDATE: After a year of not eating here, I had heard it had gotten better. So after having lunch there the other day, I am happy to report that it was great! The enchaladas were very flavorful and held their shape 😉. Refried beans and rice were as good as you could want. My companions were very complimentary anout their choices as well. Hopefully, this change in cooks or management or whatever is responsible for the current improvement, will continue. On the scale of taste and satisfaction, this was a 5 star lunch.
