Ce que disent les clients de B Street & Vine
B Street & Vine is loved for its creative bruschetta combinations, with many reviewers specifically praising the pear and brie, and prosciutto with fig. The service is attentive and the outdoor seating is a plus. Some find the interior less intimate than expected for a wine bar.

Came here with my fiancé and his niece and was once again reminded of how great this place is. Wonderful variety of delicious bruschetta and delicious sangria! My favorite bruschetta is the pear and brie, absolutely scrumptious. The staff was attentive and helpful. Great experience and I can’t wait to be back!
First time with my sister, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the bruschetta combo where you can pick four different kinds, and honestly it was the perfect choice. My top two favorites were the mango with cilantro—super fresh and sweet—and the prosciutto with mascarpone, which was creamy, salty, and so good. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for a chill, delicious bite!
Edit-just went back tonight and it’s still as good as ever. Food and service here are always amazing! Bruschetta is *chefs kiss* and the artichoke soup is my fave😋 Love love love this place. The food is always good and so is the service. I had some friends visiting from out of town so I made reservations for dinner. It was really easy and we were seated right away. Everyone loved the bruschetta.
Went here for the first time and the place was amazing. Nice atmosphere with outdoor dining and a bar area. Jazz music playing in the background while I enjoyed my meal. I will be returning at night.
Was walking by after work in downtown San Mateo and saw they had happy hour and was the best decision to walk in! The service was attentive and they have a cute outdoor back patio. I got the wine flight which is 5 tasters for $25. They also have other drinks and food on the happy hour menu but I didn't want 4 bruschetta toasts so I got 2 a la carte which came around $5-6 each. My favorite was the prosciutto with dates and marscepone cheese. Highly recommend and will be back!
Just so much bread, but the food was delicious. I had the kale salad with bread. For such a nice restaurant the bathroom looks like it belongs in a dive bar.
I still haven't got a chance to visit the place myself but I got food from B Street & Vine from my friend. Just looking at those breads topped with various delicacies is already an artwork. Once I had a bite, it becomes a great joy of taste. I love most, if not all, the combinations of cheese and toppings they pair in each bite. Even the standard one like tomato, basil, and mozzarella cheese are filled with fresh naturally sweet flavors. And that's just one of them. I would love to visit the place and eat there next time!
This is not a typical "wine bar" you'd expect - the lighting is not dimmed and the place is not small/intimate. Instead, it's more like a casual restaurant. I think the ambience of the outdoor seating (set up with tents and bulb lights) is more of what people would typically look for so definitely ask for outdoor seating. More than their wine selection, definitely go for the food. They have a wide selection of bruschetta and it was an absolute pleasure tasting their creative mixture of flavors. Felt that price was reasonable.
Favorites here are the chicken panini, prosciutto and fig bruschetta, pistachio w/ date bruschetta, gorgonzola and honey bruschetta, and of course salami, feta, pesto bruschetta. I try to go on Fridays for the cream of artichoke soup. ITS DELICIOUS. Everything is reasonably priced, staff gives great service and the food is outstanding. Our family are regulars and always will be. If you haven't tried B Street, put it on your list. You will love it.
Great paninis made with freshly baked bread. The pineapple they used in some of their foods is quite surprisingly delicious
We came here fir the bruschetta. It will require several visits to try every option! My fave is the original tomato and mozzarella and the Brie with pear and honey. Hubby loves the Salmon.
Absolutely fantastic service. We were crunched for time and they were extremely accommodating. Also, the beef salad was super tasty😋. All in all, it was a very good experience and very reasonably priced!
Bruschetta was phenomenal!! Love their creative combinations. So wonderful for sharing and dessert of bread pudding was amazing too!

We happened on this place on the way home from the SFO airport. There was another party enjoying lunch and there was a beautiful bar area. The menu was extensive with so many choices of bruschetta, cheese plates, wines, and delicious sandwiches. I settled on a teriyaki bowl and my husband had a steak sandwich. The waitstaff was very attentive and our drinks were never left empty long. The food was great, my bowl was tasty with great salad mixings and a good portion of dressing. We will definitely be back when we're in the area!
I love this restaurant. I never understand why there's very few people there at lunch. I hope they do a great business at dinner!! I really enjoy all their unique bruschettas - yum yum - and yesterday I had a wonderful chicken salad for lunch.!

*** 4 - 4.5 stars *** Wonderful spot in Downtown San Mateo offering bruschetta, salads, paninis and of course wine! I love the variety of bruschetta that includes many vegetarian options. Red and white sangria delicious. Staff friendly and checks up on their customers. Outdoor seating perfect on a beautiful day. Interior is a bit dark but not going to knock it…live music on certain nights Average p/p with drink, salad, bruschetta plate (pick 4) about $35/person incl t/tip
Came here for a work function. We made our orders a few days ahead of time. It still took a relatively long time to get our food, people were hungry and stealing food from their friends plates 🤣. The creme brûlée was pretty standard. I remember having a meat dish here that was really heavy. Still had a fun time and made memories with coworkers. Our group might have been too big.
Good find in downtown. Had planned to go to another place but that was closed. Walked into this place. They are famous for their bruschetta - lots of different versions to choose other than the traditional (they have that too). Ordered the bruschetta - we got the smoked salmon, roasted pepper remoulade, mushroom, brie with apples. They were all terrific - they make their own bread so everything was fresh and tasted amazing. For entrees I got the Italian sausage panini and my fellow diner got the veggie. Panini is another thing they are known for :). I really liked mine, my fellow diner thought hers was good too. The service was good and not intrusive. They are fully covid safe - outside seating, masks on, etc. Highly recommend.
Very flavourful bruschetta that you can pick and choose from. Interesting flavours and toppings such as mango and pear. Waitstaff is friendly and accommodating.

Visited June 7, 2019 with co-workers total of 8. Ordered all kind of burschetta and olive plate and 4 different salads Pretty tasty food with good jazz background music
It was our first time here and we didn't realize that most people come here for the bruschetta. We ordered: 1. Pastrami panini: it was a good panini. The pastrami was flavorful but the cheese was a little too much and took away from the meat 2. BBQ chicken salad: I would not recommend this. The chicken was not flavored at all. Tested like store bought cooked chicken strips that were just coated in a BBQ sauce. And the sauce itself was sweet and didn't have much of a BBQ taste. The rest was mainly romaine with very little black beans and other ingredients. 3. Artichoke soup: The flavor was good but we had to get out pieces of the artichoke fiber every bite and some were pretty big. It should have been strained. 4. Kid's grilled cheese sandwich: Worth ordering if your kids like nothing else on the menu. Dessert: 1. Lemon raspberry ice cream pie: Delicious lemon flavored that's topped with a velvety layer of raspberry. If you like sweet and tart desserts, this is a must try! 2. Nutella, strawberry and cookie crumble bruschetta: Nothing to write home about. It tastes good but you can recreate this easily at home. I wouldn't spend $5.75 for a single bruschetta if I were to go next time. The outdoor ambience is very nice so we might go again and order different things.
