The server wasn't in a good mood. He let our salad sit while our two pizzas were served first. Sala is still sitting there while he is conversing withco-workerss. I'm nott happy about this. When I asked to cancel, he walked a few steps over since we were sitting by the food counter and served us our salad. His wages should be purely commission. Update: We were rushing for time, so we ordered to go. Did the box get bigger, or did the pizza get smaller? Of course, the latter. The most disturbing part of this location is the poor service from the person who took our take out order. I really wonder if it was the other way, I was working there, and if I had a shitty attitude, how would they feel? Update: We tried order to go, and the pizza is a lot smaller. We really want to support this location, but they always find a way to disappoint . UPDATE: 3-9-2024 There is much better service now with "Jake." New Korean Steak Pizza was pretty good. UPDATE: 4-13-2024 We had a new trainee server, Fernanda, who was very polite and was nice. Luckily for us, Jake was there training her. We ordered the MPS and Hawaiian pizza with thin crust, and both were burnt a little. UPDATE: 11-24-2024 Seed was very polite and nice. No Jake tonight. Food was great.

Went in on a Sunday to order pizza to go. Was directed to the far end of the counter where a pleasant cashier took our order. A few moments later, the pizza was ready. They gave us a big paper bag. Thank you. Will eat pizza wheh we get home. Very good

At the mall and popped into CPK. Met the manager who's name is also mine but spelled with a q instead of a k. Ezekiel. Ordered the guacamole and blue corn chips, the infamous Thai chicken pizza and a half a Carne Asada and Chipotle chicken pizza. The wife had a draft ipa and I tried the happy hour whiskey smash x 2 "happy hour half price" hahaha. The guacamole was full chunks not that green paste out of a bag. Tasted great mixed with white corn and the coupled with the blue corn tortilla chips. The pizzas were rich in flavor. My favorite was the Carne Asada. I say stop by Costco pickup some gift cards and save 25 bucks and check it out especially during happy hour.

The pre meal bread is not heated. Not my favorite. We love pineapple, so we add pineapple on our original BBQ chicken pizza. It taste sweet and sour. Recommended. We order the white corn guacamole + chip. The guacamole taste fresh. I think it has cucumbers on it. But I only love to eat the purple chip with it cause the purple one taste better. The pasta is not very creamy. It is too green. The belt peppers were cut in propose to make them similar to the pasta. Maybe the chef don’t like customers too picky on food, haha… For the drinks, I recommended the cucumber reviver.

This CPK is located inside Hillsdale Mall and has a capacity to seat around 50 people. The staff is helpful and they have a very helpful guide on their menu that leads you to their website in case you have food preferences (allergies/ vegan/ gluten free, etc.). We ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, the California Veggie Pizza, and 2 drinks: Peach Lemonade & Cucumber Reviver. The food was good quality & tasted good, although the portions were small for the price. This is an easy place to recommend to someone looking for fresh Italian(ish) fair for lunch/ dinner. Bonus: They also serve free bread as a part of the meal which is always great to see.

I would say this place is perfectly average. Service was so so. The pizza was good, but nothing impressive. The dumplings seemed way too soggy. I can think of better places in the mall to eat. And they need to dust the lights. The idea of all that dust falling in my food is nasty

Average $21 for a small size pizza (compared to your local pizzeria). Not even big enough for an adult. Honestly, if you just craving for pizza. Give the business to your local pizzeria.

On this day we came in after lunch and it was empty. We had to wait for more than 7 mins to get seated even though there were a few employees walking around. That was NOT the problem, it was the service. The wait times were sooo long I could not get a refill of my water. The waiter took more than 15 mins to come back and take our order. After giving us our food, she never came back until I asked someone else for help. What kind of service is this? We have been here, previously, many times and it was not this bad. If the restaurant is full then I understand, however, that was NOT the case on this day. I think they recently changed owners or managers ?? They've also taken some items off the menu. I would avoid this place! Eat at Shake Shack or Pinstripes.

Their customers/door dashers are keep blocking my driveway to pick up their food. The management should tell those pick up people to park their car for mall’s restaurant pick up spots, not blocking the neighborhood driveways

I visited California Pizza Kitchen today and had a terrible experience. The manager, Sansy was extremely rude and unprofessional. His attitude was dismissive, and his customer service was unacceptable—he showed no interest in listening or resolving concerns. On top of that, the food was bad and the portions are much smaller than before, especially for the price. Overall, the quality and service have gone downhill for this location. I won’t be returning and do not recommend this location.

We ordered a pizza and the salmon with pasta, and both dishes were a total let-down. The pizza came out cold, and the salmon was raw and pink in the middle. We sent it back, and when they brought a new plate, the salmon was completely burned. It’s unbelievable how a kitchen can get the same dish wrong twice in the opposite way. The whole meal felt like a waste of money, and the quality was far below what we expected. Definitely not coming back.

The main chef and some other employees in the kitchen were NO Gloves, touching the food with the bare hand.( same hand they were cleaning with). Beside the food safety issue it was delicious and customer service was good too.
