Este lugar es particularmente famoso por las margaritas gigantes qué sirve...ubicado muy cerca del muelle de Cozumel, es ideal para visitar a cualquier hora del día. Además, si consideras que los alimentos son preparados enfrente de ti y son de tamaño considerable (si tomas en cuenta el trabajo que implica llevar esos insumos a la isla) tendras una experiencia completa. Con vista hacia el mar del Caribe y la llegada de diversos Cruceros es un lugar debes de visitar si o si en esta hermosa isla.

Buenaso! No teman en probar los tragos, un poco caros pero excesivamente buenos así que buena relación precio calidad. También se pueden pedir sin alcohol. Comida típica mexicana y otras. 100 porciento recomendado.

Me encantó, es un espacio con excelente música (rock), y con bebidas deliciosas y comida deliciosa, es barato y proporcional a lo que sirven.

Honestamente me quedé luego de ver que los tragos no son tan caros a comparación de las cosas cercanas. Las comidas sí son relativamente caras, pero es que es demasiada comida. Los machos de mariscos son los más caros y parecen chilaquiles de la cantidad de queso, frijoles, y mariscos que trae. Los sirven con crema y pico de galo al lado. Las porciones son casi que fiesteras, son muy grandes, incluso el ceviche de entrada es grande para ser una entrada

Tienen muy buen ambiente, todos son muy amables, si pasas por ahí se acuerdan de ti y te saludan, lo que te hace sentir como en casa. La comida muy rica, la salsa de habanero lo máximo, los mojitos con fruta natural muy ricos.

Las margaritas Frozen más grandes y ricas de la isla las encontrarás en este lugar. La vista frente al mar y ubicado en el malecón hacen de este lugar único para ver el mejor atardecer de Cozumel. Los snacks son muy ricos probamos los poppers y estuvieron deliciosos. Altamente recomendado si quieres escuchar musica en vivo ve más en la noche.

Muchos lugares son los que están en la avenida principal en Cozumel, pero pocos tienen la ubicaciÓn precisa para ver los mejores atardeceres de la isla en conjunto con los tonos de el mar y los cruceros de adorno, a esto súmale una deliciosa langosta fresca y local en compañía de una margarita gigante! I have had the best time at Thirsty Cougar while staying in Cozumel. The people working here are true gems and everyone is so friendly. Food is more or less average bar food (tasty, but nothing crazy), but the people and atmosphere are lovely. 100% recommend coming here for three to fourteen beers.

Busy corner street restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of pedestrian traffic and vendor interactions. Delicious ceviche! We didn't try their cocktails but the frozen ones delivered to the adjacent table looked quite impressive.

This is our go-to lunch and margarita spot every time our cruise stops in Cozumel. I think the Cougarita gets bigger every year! I always order too much food - delicious and affordable. My favourite is the chicken enchiladas verde. And of course, a t-shirt to take home. Two of us - two Cougarita, cheese fondito with chorizo, two entrees and two t-shirts came in under $100US including tip.

Visited October 13, 2025 - Cozumel - Day 3 of our Disney Dream Cruise My family and I are currently on the Disney Dream cruise and spent the day exploring downtown Cozumel, hoping to find authentic Mexican food and refreshing drinks. We passed The Thirsty Cougar at first, thinking it might be too touristy, and kept walking in search of something more local. A few kind locals gave us directions, but we still couldn’t find what we were looking for. On our way back, we passed The Thirsty Cougar again and saw people enjoying colorful frozen drinks. It looked so inviting, we decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad we did. Ronaldo greeted us with such warmth and kindness. He explained that their frozen drinks are made with fresh fruit and can be made without alcohol, which was perfect since I don’t drink. I ordered a mango and tamarind combo, and my husband had a Tecate. We also shared the Telmex nachos. The drink was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and refreshing with a generous portion. The nachos were fantastic, and you could really taste the difference with the freshly grilled meat. Every bite was satisfying. Ronaldo brought us spicy salsa and fresh jalapeños that added a great kick. My husband enjoyed it so much, he had a second Tecate. The service from Ronaldo was exceptional, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the view was beautiful. This ended up being one of the best parts of our day in Cozumel. So happy we gave it a chance. Highly recommend!.

We checked out the Thirsty Cougar on our most recent cruise to Cozumel and found the house margaritas to be quite tasty, the guacamole with pico hit the spot, and Felix our server was friendly, helpful and professional. We purchased two sets of their hand-blown glassware and one of the reproductions of their nice oil paintings. Nice people here; great drinks, relaxing vibe and funky glassware and art for sale. Check them out when you're on the island!

I have been coming here every year for at least 15 years. Everyone loves the giant frozen margaritas; and they are delicious in all sorts of real fruit flavors. My favorite is the Cadillac on the rocks though. The ceviche is hands down the best I have ever had. It’s so fresh and expertly cut for the best ceviche you will ever eat. The chips are addictive and the guacamole is so creamy. The views are some of the best along the main road and the prices are very reasonable.

Close to the port so has the tourist feel but no problems there. Great friendly service and great food/drinks. Ronaldo made good recommendations (fish was very fresh). They have some spicy salsa too. And to top it off great view and lovely 80s/90s music. Youll like the Music too.

We spent one night in Cozumel to fly out from there and ended up at The Thirsty Cougar two days in a row. Great music and the view of the ocean is lovely. Food & drinks were great. Ivan took care of us both times. He was a fun and attentive server! He recommended the blackened fish and it did not disappoint. I would request Ivan again. Very memorable place to visit, enjoyed the vibes!

One of our must visits in Cozumel! Super walkable from the downtown shopping area and super easy to get a taxi to or from the cruise ports. The food, drinks, and staff are excellent! Great views of the ocean and cruise ships and we like the atmosphere of it being on the street for prime people watching! Best and LARGEST (frozen) margaritas ever. Absolutely give it a try! Also a shoutout to our waiter Armando who was fantastic!

The best food at the best price! Make sure you try the shrimp cocktail it has 20 shrimp in it make sure there's two people or you won't be able to eat at all it's awesome! 😊 Don't forget to try the chicken tacos or the shrimp tacos all with cheese! Also the ceviche is very good!

We stopped here for our last margarita on the way back to the airport. We weren’t expecting, and were ultimately blown away by the size of the margaritas! It looks like they’re making multiple before they sculpt it into a tall masterpiece in a single glass. The food was unexpectedly good, and the plates were much larger than we had anticipated. We ended up boarding the plane extremely full (but happy!)

Si buscas ruido y vida nocturna, es buen lugar, me tocó tocará una banda de pop, rock y la verdad lo hacen bastante bien! Prueben los nachos y las margaritas.

This place is a hit or miss, some of the stuff on the menu is great, the sashimi, nachos, chicken, fajita salad ,and mahi-mahi are the standouts. Service itself is a little rough just because there were only two servers for 10 tables. The portions for food is also quite large, so I would say you get your money worth. Also live music played on the street outside which was great. Overall, it’s an alright stop, especially if you aren’t picky and are willing to be there for a while.

Food was below average. We had chicken tacos, blackened fish and enchiladas. None of them were tasty, was bland and not worth the price. The only positive is the ambiance is good. Service was poor and the waiter didn’t get salsas when requested or additional glasses when we asked. Not worth the money!!

Great name, great location. But we were disappointed with the quality of the food. Fajitas were bland, and tasted like soy sauce. Guacamole and pico were good. Skip the potato skins, they were not cooked thoroughly and did not have much seasoning.

Ni real food ni estaban tan cargadas las margaritas como en otros lugares. Los platos a pesar de no ser esenciales dan la impresión de un lugar algo cutre. Precios acorde a la ubicación sobre el malecón, listos para recibir turismo extranjero de los cruceros.

Las 3 hamburguesas que pedimos estaban crudas, las devolvimos, volvieron 1 cocida y 2 nuevamente crudas

Desde nuestra llegada la atención deja mucho que desear, tuvimos que pedir que nos tomaran la orden porque no nos ponían atención los meseros, luego de ordenar no nos trajeron las cosas que pedimos, simplemente se les olvidó. El producto que menos recomiendo es la Margarita, no tiene ningún sabor, dicen que es de fruta natural pero más bien la hacen con jugo comercial y no tiene ningún sabor, ni parecería que tuviera alcohol. Muy caro por un producto pésimo y un mal servicio.

Pésimo servicio, fuimos por el cumpleaños de mi pareja y estuvimos 25 minutos aproximadamente y jamás llegaron a pedir nuestra orden, aun cuando llegaron y se la tomaron a una mesa que llegó después y estaba al lado, nos ignoraron completamente hasta que nos levantamos y nos fuimos, pésimo servicio, cabe recalcar que llegamos por recomendación

En nuestra experiencia nos tocó que nos atendiera bastante mal el mesero de forma general. Adicional se equivocó con mi plato con algo que específicamente le dije que no quería, se lo llevó para cambiármelo y nunca regresó con el, ese día no comí. El lugar tiene buenas reseñas y seguro que otro día pueden tener una mejor experiencia.

Ordene unas enchiladas verdes y no tuvieron la desencia de calentar la tortilla, literalmente se quebraba de lo fría y tieza qué estaba, el arroz blanco al igual estaba crudo. Tardaron más de 1 hr en llevar completa nuestra orden. Eramos 3 personas, no pudimos disfrutar de un desayuno juntos debido a que cada orden la llevaban con mucho tiempo de diferencia. Realmente decepcionante😔.
