Le iba a poner 4 estrellas, pero le doy 5 por guardar ciertas normas de prevención del Covid. El único que tenía los pinchos tapados, no directos al público. Dicho ésto, los pinchos y raciones son excelentes, buena calidad y elaboración. Salimos muy satisfechos. Precio correcto Cuando vuelva a San Sebastián ya se donde ir.

Todo riquísimo! La atención también excelente, una camarera súper simpática y agradable en el trato. El pintxo de txuleta el mejor de todos, el de gambas con bacon también. Para los que comemos mucho sale un poco caro, pero la calidad se paga. 100% recomendable!

A veces los buenos sitios se descubren sin querer. Caminando por Donosti entré en este lugar al azar y descubrí sus magníficos pintxos. Además tiene buen ambiente y servicio.

La brocheta de chipirones, la oreja o morro, el bacalao y la tarta de queso muy buenas y el personal muy profesional y agradable. Para volver.

En San Sebastian, en todos los bares y restaurantes vas a comer bien... Pero en Karrika te van a tratar como en casa, te van a hacer sentir de su familia! No te va a faltar una recomendación, un detalle... Y vas a comer exquisitamente. Hay que pedir la txuleta, sí o sí. Y por supuesto, sus pintxos son de gran calidad. Para rematar, la tarta de queso. Obra maestra.

We had tapas there. Food was amazong. Service was nice. It is in one of the busiest street od san seb so the prices were bit hing but that we knew before entering. Portions are bit small so you’ll need 3-4 to have a full meal experince.

We had different tapas & raciones, all were very delicious, wine and water for a good price. We also had the chocolate desert, but that was weaker and not worth 6€. It‘s helpful if you can speak at least a little Spanish. We would go there again.

I was made to feel very welcome. I sat on a table, just me. The staff were friendly, even though I was just one person. I enjoyed food & drink. The vino tinto was very strong.....nice! Squid skewer tasty.

Great pinxto bar with delicious food and friendly service. Unlike many other restaurants, there is plenty of room for seating. Order from the menu. We enjoyed the beef tenderloin, pork cheek, squid and tomato salad. All were excellent.

Managed to get a stool and bench inside 10 minutes before the kitchen closed (3pm it closes). Quickly ordered 7 hot pintxos. Staff keep bringing out the pintxos and we basically cover the area in beautiful hot food. It’s a crazy variety of dishes from foie gras, baby grilled squid, steak, scallops (6 for €13), duck, black pudding stuffed peppers and suckling pig along with nice wines by the glass. They are all very very good. The fois gras and suckling pig get a special mention. Staff were excellent and friendly and the place had a nice buzzing atmosphere with the space nicely lit. My minor suggestion would be a board with wines by the glass and the wine region (I like to try the regional varieties). Unfortunately we left for Barcelona the next day and we couldn’t go back. There’s nothing like those pintxos I can find in Barcelona.

This was our first stop in San Sebastián and right off the bat we felt welcome in this city, thanks in part to this wonderful place. The pintxos are delicious, with a special mention to the mushroom bacon and the rib eye steak. All the food is great and affordable and the hospitality is fantastic.

Excellent, friendly service from a family run business. We felt welcomed which isn't always the case in the old town. Glad to get a counter table. Food was delicious and despite a short wait, was perfect for our evening. We ordered several dishes including croquettes and calamari. No effort required to tailor the salad to our request. Great selection of gin and wine on offer too!

We went there during off peak time between lunch and dinner, but the staff were super friendly nevertheless. The Tarta de Queso was outstanding, probably within the top two we had in Donostia. Had some other bites too including the Gilda and they were also delicious.

Pintxos ricos, sobretodo los calientes fuera de la vitrina. El saco de queso lo calientan y está crujiente y el queso se derrite. Muy muy rico. El rabo de toro con una salsa increíble. El pato tenía buen sabor pero tampoco para repetir.

Good food and pleasant service. Karrika was one of the few palaces where we felt nicely treated at a restaurant in San Sebastián. We didn’t feel we had to fight to get a table or place an order on the bar. The waiter was sweet. We ordered the octopus, cod, tuna sandwich, and mussels.

Food was 3/5 for me, but overall ok experience. Service was friendly but atmosphere became a lot of people just standing around having beer while we were eating dinner. The tuna empanada wasn't the best, the calamari didn't taste super fresh but the patatas bravas and croquette was the better half of dinner. Wasn't my vibe but it looked like others were having fun.

As I think most of us did, we decided to enter this unassuming, small pintxos bar based on the outstanding scores it has on TripAdvisor and Google. There are so many options in the old center, and at a certain point, choosing becomes really hard. A telltale sign that these ratings are not just hot air was that every table inside was occupied by locals of all ages: couples, families, older men with a sturdy frame who obviously knew what good food is. They were right. Don't expect artistic plating or jus served at the table, that's not why you're here. You're here because Karrika works magic in its small, cramped kitchen: perfectly grilled gambas, txipis (baby squid) served with caramelized onion, excellent foie gras. Mouthwatering smells and flavors in small portions so you can eat more. At peak hours, expect the place to be packed to the back with people wanting their share, so grab a table at around 8 to be sure. The staff are friendly and are a well-oiled machine under pressure. Don't be too pushy when ordering and they'll be right with you! In short, if you don't want to bother with trying out all the different bars, grab a seat, a txakoli and enjoy!

Pedí un trago y me lo sirvieron en un vaso de plástico reutilizado y lavado. Aunque esté limpio, me parece una práctica poco adecuada para un bar y da una imagen descuidada. Un detalle así resta bastante a la experiencia.
