Very good food. Above that the customer service was excellent. Dalia and Joana were very welcoming and made sure to smile there overall personality was amazing these servers deserve a raise :-) Really enjoyed my food and experienced, I will be going back :-D
Wow, Waba Grill really impressed me! 🤩 I showed up around 10 A.M. to meet someone, and from the very first moment I walked in, everything looked spotless. The outside area was incredibly tidy — all the tables and chairs were clean and neatly arranged 🌿✨ It honestly made such a great first impression. When I stepped inside, I noticed the same level of care. The seating area, tables, soda station, and even the order counter were all shining and well-maintained 🧼👌 You can tell the staff really take pride in keeping the place looking fresh and welcoming. Cleanliness matters so much when choosing where to eat, and Waba Grill absolutely delivered 💯 I felt comfortable, relaxed, and ready to enjoy my visit. Great job keeping everything so clean and inviting! 🙌
Wow, Waba Grill! Arrived at 10 A.M. to meet-up with someone. Very clean outside and inside upon entry. Outside eating area was clean, as in all tables and seats were clean. Inside seating, tables, soda bar, and order counter were clean. Clean! Staff was very friendly, all while busy prepping for the lunch crowd. I ordered a steak soft taco (yes, at 10 A.M. 😉). Excellent, even better at 10 A.M. 😎 The Waba soda bar deserves a round of applause. Nice to see flavors not found at other restaurants (or 7-11). (And here is a 'dig' at McDonald's. There is a move in their chain ... removing ... the dine-in soda bar. That was a benefit of dining in, now being stripped away by a zillion-dollar glutton.) One more thing, in the background they are playing Michael Jackson's "Beat It" which just makes this outing at Waba Grill more fun. Kudos for Waba Grill.

The WaBa Grill is one of my favorites spots 5o go eat. The food is delicious I ordered a chicken bowl which was good as always. One thing I like is that the service is super fast the food was served in just 5 minutes.

Always loved going here compared to other waba grills. The music always has good selection (opinion) and its generally very clean inside. I've not had any sea food products yet, but all the chicken and steak meat has been very well cooked. Only once have I had the steak over cooked and charred. The condiment station (onions/sauces) is always well stocked and looks fresh made. After trying the sea food, I may crank up the rating.

Cashier was efficient. Portions of salmon protein somewhat on the small side if you have a huge appetite like mine. Prices are higher than the more budget-minded competing chains but quality is excellent and choices are more premium. You'll want to keep it in your rotation

Place was good...menu looked presentable and easy to understand. The waba on 17th is much more generous with their portions, but well, whatever. My plate of salmon was so small...it was worthly worth the price. They skimped on my veggies n rice too...but customer service was great. The cashier was really nice. Overall 3 1/2 stars.

Dang kind of upset I pay $12 for each of these and they couldn’t even give me a little bit more meat. Been a fan of Waba Grill for over 10 years now and will probably be my last time.
Place is nice and so is the staff. lets talk about the items. the bowl in 2019, large and inexpensive. they would even have deals of 2 bowls for $12, now its almost $12 for 1. the bowl in 2022, smaller and more expensive. Its just sad that all these companies are pulling this trick of serving smaller sizes and charging more. This is not inflation, this is greed. Keeping the poor poor.
47$ for 1 small taco, 3 tiny drinks and 3 bowls ?? Such small chicken portions and the chicken was so bland and no green onions?! I couldn't finish my bowl; it was just so sad tasting. The cashier was very nice thoug, 5 stars for her.

I can't believe how incompetent the employees at this wabba grill are. No Manager in site. Cashier had someone on the phone guiding her with the register. I tried to understand and not give the cashier any hard time. On the contrary but at the moment of receiving my order the cashier and cooks gave me an incorrect order and when I tried to raise that issue they got upset at me, cashier walked away and the cook asked if I had even paid so I showed her my receipt. I ordered a plantspired steak salad and got a steak platter with a simple salad that didnt even have any dressing. It's so frustrating that they were not able to correct my order. I am disappointed because out of all locations of Santa Ana, this one was my favorite but now I will take my business elsewhere.
Glad the first 2 words out of the cashier's mouth were super rude when I called. Saved me from wasting a drive over there. Bummer cuz the food looks good. Greet people with respect or go handle your business & let the phone ring out! Ur doing too much.
Was picking up my order the other day when I saw the owner being rude to one of the staff. Good luck to anyone working for someone like that, I for sure wouldn’t want my kids in that situation. Figured I’d spread some awareness, also goes to show education doesn’t grant you manners.
First time customer and last! Worst service, Ordered a Waba Bowl which is supposed to have half Chicken and Half Steak. Added avocado and was charged for $2.49 for it. When I finally received my order after an 15 minute wait, I received a bowl with just Chicken and rice, No avocado, no onions. Additionally, it was a to-go Order and I was given no utensils, no napkins, no sauce. NOTHING!. I called the store and the person that answered the phone LAUGHED. He told me to go back and they will re-do the order but I was on a tight schedule. I usually do not write reviews but this is RIDICULOUS!!!
Food was given to me in bad condition the rice had no flavor the chicken dried out like jerky the veggies were like frozen over cooked soggy. This is the second and the last time at this store i think it's time for us to contact their corporate office and make a formal complaint. If the owners don't fix the problems at this store maybe the corporate office will put pressure on them to make them or close this location.
The chicken did not taste good the rice was undercooked. The doors were open flies flying all around. No magic sauce in the dispenser ,No AC.
Rude and Careless employee.... No greet, no acknowledgement, and no customer etiquette. Went for dinner on 2/5/25 at around 6:20 PM younger employee. Seems like she hated her job and everyone around her. Ridiculous and rude service.

All taste the same, it all looks the same, even the portions look the same. They don't have chopsticks don't even ask, Use their sprork. Very minimal customer service. Asian fusion without the Asian....
