Avis sur Silvers Omakase Santa Barbara
I was fortunate to enjoy the first dinner served last month. We were with 10 of us and the place was stunning. Lennon has created a magical place with stunning flavors and beautiful presentation of his creations. Best dishes I have enjoyed in my life from the Royal rise to all the different fish and make sure to try the amazing Waygu Kobe beef
It was an amazing experience! Chef Lennon and his team do a fantastic job. Everything about the experience, from the arrival to the meal, was fantastic. I highly recommend going here!
This place was amazing! The fish quality was amazing and prepared soooo well! The drink pairings were awesome and very tasty. It was definitely an amazing night and I can’t wait to go back.
Totally amazing! Presentation and quality of food outstanding! Ambience was cozy. Service was excellent. Loved every dish featured on the Omakase!!! Kudos to Chef Silvers and staff!
Incredible experience and seriously the best sushi you can find in the area! Highly recommend booking early and getting whatever time is available, you won’t be disappointed. Lennon and his staff are top notch, the attention to detail is apparent in every section of this restaurant. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed!
This is a special spot. When you arrive, you’re seated in an intimate waiting room, greeted and given champagne. Once ready, they walk you into the sushi room where you and the other guests (8 total) are seated at a beautiful counter. All the finishes and dish ware are hand crafted and purposeful. Jaime, the som, walks you through the beverage menu (get sake… any sake) and then the sushi begins. It’s all made in front of you and it will invariably be the freshest meal you’ve ever had in your life. The flavors are subtle, yet life changing. Each course isn’t more than a few bites, but they’re each exquisite. Sadly, you won’t want to eat sushi anywhere else ever again. The food is Michelin star worthy (and mostly sourced from Japan) and the chance to talk with the team about the food and their lives is a treat. Everyone there is passionate about their craft, personable and authentic. The meal isn’t cheap ($230/person before drinks) but if you are willing to savor every bite it’s absolutely worth it to celebrate a special occasion. Lennon, Ryan, Derek and Jaime make the experience truly memorable.
One of the best omakase experiences among the many places we have been to in the world. The young chef is very proud and pays great attention to the ingredients and food. We were here for the valentine's day dinner, everything was perfect, we had a great conversation with the chef also. Recommended!
The closest I’ve felt to being back in Japan in the states. Every element from food, service, design is thoughtful curated. From the welcome bubbles to glassware to the lighting. Every bite is like a bite of heaven. Every sip is perfectly paired to go perfectly with each bite. The team are fun and friendly. You feel like royalty sitting at this sushi bar. It’s my favorite go to for an anniversary or birthday celebration.
Masterful. The only word that comes to mind when I think about the experience and food at silvers. If there was an option for more stars I would max it out. It’s hard to summarize how incredible the food is, but “world class” is the first thing that comes to mind. The service was equally as impressive. It easy to tell the team at Silvers is as passionate about this craft as chef Lennon. The drink menu and their remarkable Sommelier-like sake and beverage curator is a talent in his own right. I really appreciate Chef Lennon’s attention to detail when building this place from the ground up. They made it a point to remain as true to the Japanese omakase tradition as possible, but with a very subtle, yet tasteful touch of Chef Lennon’s life experiences woven into the DNA of this restaurant. As an example, the (amazing) soundtrack that perfectly sets the mood for guests in the lobby with champagne is actually Chef Lennon’s father’s band from the 60’s. Just an incredible “chef’s kiss” of personality to this already amazing team and restaurant. To the staff, and chef Lennon: Bravo! We will see you soon.
Had the absolute pleasure of being able to dine at Silvers Omakase. It was an amazing evening in an incredible space. Definitely a true highlight was watching Chef Lennon's absolute care and respect for all the amazing product he had was incredibly inspiring. The uni rice, the aged tuna, the kinmedai were all such amazing bites. Can't wait to come back!
Fantastic Omakase experience in Santa Barbara. This team of chefs are meticulous in sourcing their ingredients, respecting traditions, and most importantly, showing us what we've been missing out on with local SB catches. Outstanding!
Chef Lennon creates an amazing omakase course with each element precisely thought out. His professionalism not only shows in his food, but also in the pottery. His sushi rice is unique, using an interesting blend of two black vinegars in Toyama rice, resulting in the most delightful taste. It is an absolutely great combination with each fishes and it is exploding each fishes of beautiful Umami - Dashi flavor. I greatly appreciate the kind hospitality of he and the Silver Omakase team. I highly recommend you.
Silvers out did themselves! What an incredible and unique dining experience. From the moment we walked in, everything felt curated and expertly handled. The food and sake were the real highlight. Every bite was better than the last! It was a true omakase experience. Highly recommend to any sushi lover!
I had the honor of experiencing Silvers before the official opening day which is tomorrow! I loved everything from the moment that I was dropped off at the discrete door leading into a beautiful lounge space. Everything from the art, to the couch, and the lightening is warm and inviting. We were escorted to the dining room as a group. Without giving away too much of the details that make this place such a special experience, I will say that everything form here on was truly to another level. The attention to detail is truly remarkable. I have added a few of my favorite photos but I think to truly appreciate the experience, you need to be there in person.
We just got home from an incredibly special experience at Silvers. The sushi chefs are wonderfully knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and the details of every dish are both subtle and powerful. We enjoyed every mouthful, conversation shared, tidbit about each dish and sake pairings and can't wait to return. Bravo to this team for caring about what they do. It goes a very long way and leaves a lasting impression.
Outstanding dining experience. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and they change their menu daily so there’s always a reason to come back!
AMAZING experience and HIGHLY recommend! Lennon and his team have created best Omakase restaurant that I have ever dined at in my life and this is a MUST visit in Santa Barbara!

I loved this dinner so much that I am writing my very first restaurant review! We dined at Silvers back in June, shortly before they were awarded their Michelin star. We arrived a few minutes early and relaxed in their very cool waiting lounge before being led to the counter. There were only six of us dining, so it was a very intimate environment. The space was quite beautiful and calming. Service was a bit more minimal related to some of the other fine dining experiences we've had (just the chef plus two other people), but this wasn't a negative at all: we always felt very well attended without feeling smothered. We both did the omakase and each ordered one of the beverage pairings (sake for me, wine for my husband). All of the courses and beverages were exceptional. There was one particular bite of fish with broth towards the beginning that I still think about regularly. I loved watching the chef meticulously prepare each bite in front of us. As many other reviews have already noted, the rice is outstanding. He shared his process of sourcing and preparing the rice and clearly takes a lot of pride in it. Overall, this was a fantastic dinner and we are eager to return. The one thing that I will note for others is that it's not an enormous amount of food. We were still a bit hungry afterwards and actually ran into two of the other diners from our sitting who were also looking for food afterwards. Probably best not to go on a completely empty stomach. Regardless, we felt that this dinner was well worth the money. Congrats to Chef Lennon on the well-deserved star!
The hype is real! The fact that it only took 18 months for this magical place to get a Michelin star speaks volumes about the passion, hard work, and unique talent behind it. One of the best culinary experiences of my life, every bite blew me away, the rare saki pairing was next level, and the level of service that was provided throughout the entire evening blew me away! I cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Amazing place, a little pricey but worth it. Almost every dish is nigiri. The focus is on good ingredients expertly prepared with minimal additional and just a touch of rock/sea salt. Really fits with the American steak theme that a good steak doesn't really need much besides a little salt.
Impeccable experience! My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday at this omakase restaurant, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was truly divine – each piece was expertly crafted and presented. What made the evening truly special was the private dinner we enjoyed. As the only ones with a 9:30 PM reservation, we felt like we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. The chefs and staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, sharing stories and insights about each dish. The attention to detail and personalized service made this birthday celebration unforgettable. If you're looking for a unique and memorable dining experience, look no further. Five stars isn't enough – I'd give it ten stars if I could! Highly recommend.
Intimate setting, feels like a small private dining experience. with attention to detail. We enjoyed our omakase and sake sampler. High quality sushi/fish. Keep in mind that the menu was exclusively fish; no veggie course; no fresh or pickled side of ginger (out of season at the time) and no soy sauce. If you are adventurous and really love fresh sushi/fish, I recommend for a special night out.
