A beautiful, delicious cafe with a wonderful staff! I loved my banana cloud latte and the gluten free avocado toast.

YUM! This place is so delicious. I was working the Tom’s pop-up and during my time I got to try the avocado toast with Burrata cheese and chili flakes (pictured), the Nutella toast with bananas and strawberries(not pictured), the strawberry Matcha and La la latte which are both pictured and we’re both so good and the croissant cookie, which was amazing as well. The coffee and food at this place is seriously unmatched.

I was looking for a good cooler on a warm winter day here in Santa Monica. This cafe hit the spot. Don’t let the long line fool you. The service is fast. You can also order ahead via the website or app. There is cozy seating in the front of the cafe as well to the back of the cafe. There is also comfy seating outside side. The bright yellow decor is inviting. This is an awesome place to work on your laptop. I ordered a mango passion fruit cooler. Not overly sweet! You can pick up your order inside as well as the outside walk up window. The cafe and the patio area is kept clean. Parking can be a challenge due to limited street parking.

If you want VIBES LaLa Land is your destination. But they don’t sacrifice quality for vibes, which is key. Coming mid week in the morning is the best time, because the line is not too long. The line can be out the door, which at the end of the day is a good sign. Matcha 10/10, even just your standard iced Matcha latte. They have so many fun options though too, in a selection of cream tops - vanilla, banana, or their matcha squared (matcha with matcha cream top). The attention the detail here is pretty incredible and it’s so cutesey. I mean, heart shaped straws? Come on. Great merch available too. The staff is so friendly! Bring your computer and get to work or bring a friend for a date. Oh, and the pastries look unbelievable 🤤

WHAT A CUTE PLACE?! I did not know the hype of this store until I travel to la and saw the line of people at every la la land I saw. I chose the matcha latte squared (I wish it were less sweet) and the lavender matcha cloud and cacoa chia pudding banana( so good) The place has plenty of places to sit and enjoy the road. Without further ado let’s begin this kind coffee review. :D La La Land Kind Coffee is a popular corner coffee shop on Montana ave in Santa Monica. It’s known for their exquisite bright white and yellow signature, ostentatious decor and delightful coffee. This shop is a Dallas-based coffee shop. I came on clear, cool early Summer’s day with my mind focused on one thing - new coffee adventure. And it lead me to La La Land Kind Coffee. It was very early Sunday morning, hence, there was scant of humans hovering the store. I was perfunctorily greeted by a young male white staff at the counter. I perused their impressive coffee and food menu. And decided to grab a hot Latte. Minutes later, my latte was ready and took a sip. It was bloody good! Every axons and dendrites were stimulated. Interior design and special layout were brilliant. Seats both indoor and outdoor were comfortable. Service was spot on. Atmosphere was relaxing. Prices were highly competitive but expensive truth be told. Overall, it’s the most luxurious coffee shop I have ever visited. I highly recommend you visit.

Kind Café really lives up to the name. The bright yellow branding is such a happy, inviting front, it immediately sets a good tone. The vibes were excellent, and there’s a nice variety of seating options both inside and out. Just a fun, feel-good place overall. (really appreciated the late closing hours!) Got a latte and it was perfect. Definitely excited to come back and try more from their diverse menu.

La La Land Kind Cafe immediately stands out with its signature bright yellow theme, which makes the space visually striking and absolutely Instagram-worthy. Both the interior and the outdoor patio are stylish and inviting, and even the small decorative details add to the charm. The drinks themselves also feature touches of yellow, making them easy to spot and very photogenic. The menu focuses mainly on a wide variety of coffee and tea drinks, with their lattes and matcha creations being especially popular. I decided to try my favorite, the strawberry matcha latte, and it was such a treat the beautiful pink and green layers looked cheerful and uplifting, and the taste was just as delightful as the presentation. I noticed they also offer light bites such as toasts, which I didn’t try this time, but I would love to return and spend more time enjoying both the drinks and food in this cozy, creative atmosphere.

12-12-2025 - my experience here has gotten better every time. Maybe because summer is hot and not so hot anymore. Super chill atmosphere. Really great customer service and the coffee is really good. Midmorning out here in n outside Patio 🥵 no shade out here! aturday July 19Tables clean this morning 😊 Update: July 18 2025 Got here early of course tables dirty asked to have one wipes down as I was told to do last time I brought this to their attention but went to purchase croissants and when I came back there was too much sun!! It gets super hot so moved to another table and had to clean it. The chic didn't go around to check and clean the other tables Wow!!! 😲,how lazy can you get... Is there a supervisor checking around... dissatisfied Super pissed!!! 😡 Update July 3 2025. - really sucks that I make purchases here and have to always clean off the chairs and table every morning... It takes time and it sucks.. can they clean them off every morning before people arrive... really lame... UPDATE 6/35/25. - Outside Patio unbearably. HOT!!! 🥵 Starting around 10 a.m. No trees or shade. They NEED more and DARK colored Patio umbrellas. Light umbrellas the sun filters through easily. I know BECAUSE I have purchased many in the past. 🥵 🌞 ☀️ Chill spot 😎.... Power wash would be nice And maybe wiping off the chairs and tables before people get there in the a.m. ✌️

I absolutely loved this café! The avocado toasts are simply fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The matcha drinks are just as impressive, with a smooth, rich taste that stands out. The interior is stylish and cozy, making it a lovely spot to relax, and there’s also a nice outdoor seating area for sunny days. Whether you sit inside or outside, the atmosphere is welcoming and charming. I highly recommend this place!

Extremely good vibes and kind staff + the most delicious iced latte of all time. I get mine with way less sweetener (can just ask for one pump) and it’s always amazing. Great avocado toast, too.

I love this location so much!! The staff is always so friendly - even when it’s slammed busy and the drinks are always to die for! I got the birthday cloud latte and the queen avocado toast and they were perfection! Love sitting on the cute patio and people watch. My fav place.

Such a yummy chai and great vibes all around! The service here is SO wonderful and my drinks always come out very quickly. Maddy was the sweetest girl taking my order, she was very attentive and kind! Would highly recommend la la land!!!

1st time in here, it was a cute coffee shop They have merchandise you can purchase like t-shirts, sweat pants/shirts, coffee mugs, and candles. The esthetic of this place was plain but cute, pretty fast service and friendly staff. Also a pretty good selection of drinks, baked goods etc... The parking is a bit difficult being in a busy street. You can choose to eat or drink inside or outside the grave tables & chairs or couch like benches as well.

The vibe is nice. The staff was very friendly and upbeat. However, the base product of coffee is lacking. I got the strawberry einspanner and while the foam and the fancy bits in the drink were nice, the coffee was not. Badly extracted with a bitter taste. At $7 for a miniature size, I expected more. Plus, their drinks come in a very hard plastic cup that looks like it actively wants to kill turtles in its afterlife.

Your drinks are very delicious, but amount of plastics is overwhelming. Is it really necessary to use so many small plastics details on lids? Also @cityofsantamonica is prohibited single use straws and yours in single plastic wraps. Plus they are very thick. It’s just way toooo much
