Consistently Outstanding – Ribeye Supercut is a Must! I’ve been coming to The Block House in Santa Ponsa for years, and it never misses a beat. Every visit feels just as special as the first – consistent quality, brilliant service, and an atmosphere that’s both welcoming and full of energy. This time I went for the Ribeye Supercut – and honestly, it was next level. I was the only one at the table to order it, but once everyone had a taste, the verdict was unanimous: it was the best cut on the table. Perfectly cooked to medium-rare, juicy, rich, and full of flavour – it’ll be my go-to from now on. What really made the night though was the exceptional service. Our waitress was genuinely lovely – warm, attentive, and funny without being over the top. She made everyone feel looked after without ever hovering or rushing us. She even noticed we were splitting dishes to share and brought extra plates and sauces without us needing to ask – little things like that go a long way. The beer was cold, the food came out quickly despite how busy it was, and the whole place had that classic Block House buzz – lively but still relaxed enough to enjoy a proper conversation. If you're in Santa Ponsa and want a reliably great meal with standout service, The Block House should be at the top of your list. Already looking forward to the next visit!

We came to Santa ponça 2 years ago and never ate here, we finally ate here and it was definitely worth the wait. The staff are very attentive, the building is lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the BBQ burger (200g) and the Filet Mignon. 100% recommend a visit if you love steak and burgers. We were served by Francesca who was an absolute gem.

We had a great meal here last week for my birthday. The steaks were all perfect we had the large Ribeye, Fillet and a Tomahawk they were all cooked to our liking . We even bought the seasoning they use to bring home with us they sell it in small or large. I bought 3 small as gifts for people back home it was that good. Highly recommended by me and I love a good steak. Beats miller and carter for me .

Excellent steakhouse! If you are looking for a reasonably priced steak in the area look no further! Reasonable choice of cuts and prepared to your liking. One thing you will need to take onto consideration when ordering your steak, the meet is from a grassfed animal, so it will not be as tender, but will be full of flavour. All steaks we ordered were prepared as we ordered them. Our server was knowlegable and very professional. I ordered the smaller tomahawk steak and my wife ordered the rib-eye. Sides were also prepared very well. If I had to be picky, the fat on the steak could have been rendered better, but I am being picky.

Wow. Just WOW. Food was perfectly made. We asked for Medium Rare and that’s exactly what we received. As a starter we had a Bruschetta and a Beef Tatare. Would recommend everyone to try the Tatare!!! As a main dish we ordered a T-Bone Steak for the Lady and a Tomahawk for me. Both were delicious, meat Quality was exactly how i hoped it to be! We sat outside and evenings it looks so cosy and nice. But no matter how good the food is, when the service is “rubbish” no quality of food can make it even. However, the service was also exquisite. We had Meri as our waiter. Meri is an amazing person. She knows her meat and what guests really want/need. You can see that this job is Meris passion. Thank you for everything!! And one more thing: While Ordering the meat, colleagues of Meri brought already the drinks. So with that said -> great Teamwork guys! We will definitely recommend you to others and look forward to eating with you again 🫶🏼

Hemos vivido muchos años en Santa Ponsa y con frecuencia vamos a cenar al restaurante Block House. Sin embargo, desde la llegada del turismo masivo, los precios han aumentado de forma repentina en torno a un 25 %. Durante el invierno, o fuera de la temporada turística, Block House se sostiene gracias a la clientela local. Pero si la situación continúa así, es muy probable que esta gente deje de venir. La comida y el servicio es excelente 👌

A restaurant specialised on meat. All our dishes were good and straightforward, a piece of meat or a hamburger with either baked or fried potato. The meat were tender, the hamburger ok and the fried potatoes very crispy. Inside they had a large sallad buffet, which we unfortunately realised when leaving. El restaurante es muy amable con los niños, hay un tobogán divertido fuera, les dan lápices para pintar y reciben pequeñas regalos. Mi experiencia no fue tan prometedora como se veía. Pedí un pavo con salsa de champiñones a la crema, pero no tenía crema era como una salsa blanca transparentona, los champiñones estaban enteros prácticamente y estaban muy aguados.. pedimos también un ratatuille que no tenía nada de ratatuille, la cual parecía una salsa sin forma.

Fuimos a cenar con reserva a las 22.00 y no nos avisaron de que la cocina cerraba pronto, llegó un camarero (muy educado y atento la verdad) y nos dijo que la cocina cerraba a las 22.30 o las 23.00 no recuerdo bien, cuando haces una reserva a esas horas no estaría demás avisar a los clientes de que la cocina cierra a "X" hora, en vez de meter prisa para pedir. Lo que comimos de sabor muy bueno y jugoso, al punto que pedimos. Poca cantidad (bastante poca) para los precios que tienen, los cinco pensamos lo mismo. Los postres: tarta de queso al estilo New York y más bien era estilo Makro. El brownie con helado muy normalito la verdad. Una pena ya que por los precios que ponen podrían hacer los postres caseros o por lo menos esmerarse para que lo parezca. Fui con grandes expectativas y me fui de aquella manera...

Lo único bueno que tiene es el personal. La comida deja mucho que desear. Pedí las costillas, duras y la salsa era picante cuando no dice en la carta que piqué. Mi amigo se pidió el pavo al grill, la porción de pavo era ridícula y más de medio plato se patatas fritas para cubrir espacio.

Nuestra experiencia en este lugar fue bastante decepcionante. El servicio por parte de Meri, la camarera que nos atendió, dejó mucho que desear. No solo no mostró conocimientos básicos sobre cómo tratar a los clientes, sino que también tuvo una actitud poco profesional durante toda nuestra visita. Tuvimos que esperar más de 10 minutos solo para que nos trajeran una caña, algo totalmente inaceptable cuando el local ni siquiera estaba lleno. En lugar de disculparse o mostrarse atenta, Meri fue poco amable y no supo gestionar la situación. No recomendamos este sitio, al menos mientras el servicio no mejore.
