Avis sur Brew Santa Rosa
I really liked the place. The coffee was great, the food was excellent, and the baristas/staff were friendly, polite, and efficient. A great place for coffee and a bite to eat. I haven't yet tried their beer (I was there at 9 AM...), but I'll try to do so before going back home.
This place has such a lovely atmosphere, so friendly and welcoming. I had a delicious berry Danish that was crisp around the edges, not overly sweet, clearly very fresh. It was a delight for my taste buds! Can't wait to visit again!
This place has been my go-to for most of the summer to do work and get some lunch. Staff is always super friendly, drinks are yummy and the food is excellent. Fast wifi and plenty of plugs, especially at the bar - and they have been patient with me as I've occasionally spent long hours hogging a seat!
This place was awesome. I was in town visiting my family and I took my two cousins to eat. The avocado toast was amazing. They're breakfast burrito 🤌 just as good. You can customize your order as well. 🥰
Always amazed every time I walk into this place! Not only is it warm and inviting with conventional asstetics and smiling happy employees to greet you and serve you during your experience, but also the type of clients that they attract are up to par in a matter of being very respectful and courteous every time I've come in. I highly recommend this place for the reason in which I use them for(thier are countless others) and it is to settle in with a nice cup of regular coffee, sweater off, relaxed body position, book open with a heart full of love for the state of mind this establishment brings me. A+ Brew
Such good food and drinks! We got a ginger cardamom latte, caramel latte, and matcha latte- all solid! We also got the breakfast burrito, avocado toast, and quiche. The food was flavorful and we were able to sit outside with our dog to enjoy it. Glad we found this spot driving through Santa Rosa!
Very cool place. Good coffee and sweet thing available for breakfast. Ritual coffee available for specialty cups. Had the baked oatmeal with yogurt and fruit and was very satisfied. Has nice outside seating area with little through traffic the times I went.
Good coffee and breakfast options. The prepackaged burritos were surprisingly good. Nice selection of beers as well. The few tables outside the front door are great if you bring your pup along.
Relaxed atmosphere indoors and out. Very good coffee and breakfast bagel. Service was very good and friendly but the wait for the bagel was longer than expected.
The sausage breakfast sandwich and bacon breakfast sandwich are delicious! So good. I’m still thinking about the bread they use. It’s so fluffy. Overall, great atmosphere inside and outside. Awesome on a warm day. Very friendly staff too.
My favorite coffee shop in Santa Rosa. The service is excellent and the staff is always friendly. The beer selections are great too.
Brew is a great Santa Rosa coffee shop that also serves beer in a cozy, eclectic atmosphere. They also support local artists with a variety of performances. They have a limited but tasty menu. Definitely worth checking out. Adding to my review in April 2021, the veggie wrap is amazing. So delicious and healthy. Their online ordering is great. Easy to use and my orders have been consistently ready very quickly. I give them about 10 minutes and they're almost alway waiting for me by the time I complete the 5-minute walk from my office.
Quaint small coffeehouse with great selection, including gluten free items. Coffee was excellent and we'll priced considering the area, and my friend had a wonderful breakfast burrito. We were able to sit outside in an adorable patio area as well. It was just a quick walk from our hotel which was perfect. Staff were super friendly and welcoming as well.
Started with Beer moved to food and finished with coffee. If God made his and hers section of heaven. This would be it everything a man wants or needs in one spot. Add a bunch of flat screen TVS playing various sports at once a small pond stocked with large mouth bass!!!! And then very sad face what do you mean your closing I don't want to go home!!! What a great idea.
Great coffee, decent grub. Community minded folks, fun atmosphere, inclusive. A great community spot. Go visit!
This place is the best! I come here often to work/read and the atmosphere is great. Staff is always wonderful. Fun place to have a coffee and get your work done and then celebrate with a beer on tap.
Great Beer selection, good espresso and friendly Bar staff. Tasty snacks, bites, and house made soups. Eclectic events nearly every night. Welcoming and spacious atmosphere. Kid-friendly with many table games, and will placed stool bar areas by the windows for study heads.
If we hadn't already eaten lunch, their food menu and food items being brought out looked delicious. But we refreshed ourselves with a matcha lemonade. Very tasty. And the employees and atmosphere were welcoming and fun.
I love, love, love this place. They have the best coffee, atmosphere, its a fun, friendly place. Also has great microbrews on tap at all times, they change it up frequently. Awesome menu that offers new, seasonal items frequently. Open mic nights, a variety of events. Local artists displaying their craft. Can't go wrong.
This place has gone through several evolutions to get to its current awesome configuration. Throughout the changes it's retained the stuff I appreciate: a charming, easy atmosphere, friendly and engaged staff, and an important nod to the awesomeness of unicorns. It's an equally great place for work meetings and for kicking back with friends. I always feel like I'm among my people when I'm there.
Day or night a great local spot to hang out. Good local brewery beer selection. Mimosas! A small plate style food menu. Very tasty. And of course coffee! Fun activities planned throughout the month. Outdoor seating too! Love walking there when I'm visiting my brother in Santa Rosa. Hopefully I'll be back soon.
Best coffee in Santa Rosa. Warm inviting atmosphere. Well brewed and roasted coffees available. Not exactly on the cheap side, but good coffee seldom is. I haven't had the food, and I haven't had the alcohol, but all the coffee I've had here has been fantastic. Well worth a trip out of the way to stop here.
Great vegan burrito and sandwiches.
Brew is one of my local favorites, especially now that they've extended their hours. Their coffee is excellently made every time and the couple times I've gotten food it's been very tasty. They also just built a new deck outside that's a huge upgrade to their outdoor seating. If you're looking for a study or work cafe, Brew is absolutely the place to go. Lots of outlets along the bar and next to about half the tables, great community vibes, and just a really pleasant place to spend an afternoon :)
I've been there a few times and it's always been fantastic. The menu options are great and there are gluten-free options as well for a small extra fee. It's pet friendly, kid friendly, human being friendly, and all around a great place to relax and have a coffee or a beer and a nice meal.
Amazing coffee I had the leafy iced latte with oat milk and it was delicious, great espresso quality and a great balance of flavor and sweetness. They even let me use my own cup!! Also I love all of the pride flags as well and it’s very cyclist friendly as well! Highly recommend!
Reply pleasant way to enjoy a warm afternoon in the patio.
Brew is my favorite coffee shop/place to work or study in Santa Rosa! The staff are friendly, the drinks are good and they have a wonderful, inclusive atmosphere that is appreciated.
Vegan Breakfast Burritos are fantastic. Every other place in town should take note! Friendly people too.
Great little spot - we got breakfast to go but tons of great beers on tap! Great vegan options like vegan breakfast burrito and vegan sandwich . Avocado toast was great and we added hummus
Great place to get stood up for a date. Lovely outside seating, perfect for sipping tea, reading, and meeting random doggos brought by friendly owners. If you have to get stood up for a date, do it here. Highly recommend.
I love supporting gay people and drinking coffee!!!!!!!! Brew5ever
I have been coming to Brew since I first moved to Santa Rosa in 2016 and it has been my favorite coffee shop and hang out place. Incredible coffee, food and general vibes. Anytime I have friends or family visiting I make sure to take them here as I know they will love it. Staff is always friendly, helpful and kind!
The people are so nice here! I loved the unicorn vibe. And it was a café with food And WIFI - a hard find in the area. I got ready to camp out and complete some work. But I had the WORST avocado toast here. I'm not sure how it was possible to mess that up. It wasn't even toasted. Bread. Avocado bread. I must say I had the absolute best in Reno. If you want to know how to do it right, eat at the Whitney Peak hotel or look at their online menu. Delicious!!! Toasted hand made bread with slices of avocado, micro greens, and a drizzle of olive oil
Brew is always a great, friendly place for queer people and allies alike to meet, work and build community. I usually go for a coffee drink or a hard kombucha and it never disappoints. Open mic nights are the best!
This is a fantastic little coffee shop with a great little menu for breakfast (and gluten free selections--bread and bagels). Prosciutto toast/paninis, smoked salmon bagels, baked oatmeal, breakfast burritos, etc. Everything is very tasty with good ingredients from local vendors. They also have a decent selection of local and CA beer for those wishing to imbibe...Staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is good for chilling out or working on your laptop. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the downtown area. Parking can be a little weird, so just be prepared to find street parking nearby.
Awesome, comfortable, versatile space that caters to the many needs of a community. Food was reasonably priced and flavorful, and the range of coffee drinks, beer, and wine helps transition the space from morning work time to afternoon relaxation, with many wide windows and an array of board games to choose from. Plentiful tables, outlets, WiFi, and an outdoor patio.
Magnificent! Delicious iced tea and pecan bun. Fabulous sing along music. And the staff and customers were all awesome ❤️
I love Brew soooo much. When you support this coffee shop, you’re not only supporting the wonderful owners and employees, but you’re also supporting the disadvantaged communities that Brew’s mission is to uplift and serve. That alone makes me want to give my business to Brew. It truly feels like a safe space for people of all walks of life. It helps that the coffee and food is absolutely delicious too!
If you’ve ever debated stopping by Brew for a cup of coffee, a beer, or a great lunch, this is your sign to do it. Brew continues to be a true local staple with friendly staff, consistently delicious food, and excellent service. Whether you’re grabbing something quick or settling in, it’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. I’m always happy to support a local business that does things right, and Brew is absolutely one of them. Highly recommend.
I stumbled upon this café, while walking with a good friend. She gave suggestions, so did the Cashier, and I could not be more satisfied. The ambience is welcoming and the location, well tucked away a bit, is wonderful for inside or outside seating.
Great Coffe. The only place in Santa Rosa if you want a good cup after 3:00 PM. The staff is extremely nice, smiley and friendly. Good atmosphere, very inclusive, everyone is welcome. Support this place!
What a delightful place with excellent coffee and tasty food. The pumpkin soup was yummy, and the crunchy garlic bread was divine.
Cute homey cafe. Coffee was solid and delicious rainbow toast. Seems like a spot for locals. Love that they have rainbow flags everywhere 🏳️🌈
Super homey vibe. Nice staff. Good indoor/outdoor seating. Great food and delicious coffee. Definitely going back.
Brew is such a fun spot to stop, chat with friends, grab a coffee and dog spot!! Matt went above and beyond to make sure I got a great coffee and provided me with great customer service. I would definitely recommend you his spot to my friends or people visiting!
Brew is one of my favorite coffee shops. The coffee is excellent and the space has a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a true third place. It is the kind of spot where you can relax, work, or connect with others comfortably. As someone who is LGBTQ, I really value how accepted and included I feel here. The staff are kind, the environment is warm, and it always feels like a place where I belong.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I finally stopped into Brew Coffee and Beer House, and wow—I’m so glad I did! ☕🥯 I ordered the “Classic Pork Sando”, and it blew me away. The English muffin was thick and fluffy (something I’ve never had before), and you can tell the eggs are fresh. The service was amazing—super attentive and friendly—and the whole vibe of the place is so laid back and inviting. I love that they feature handmade local jewelry and even sell funny stickers. Plus, they serve beer 🍺, which is wild for a coffee shop! I’ve lived in this area forever and can’t believe I hadn’t been here yet. I’ll definitely be back! 🙌
Brew is one of those places that feels like a hug the moment you walk in. Located at 555 Healdsburg Avenue in downtown Santa Rosa, this women-owned, LGBTQ+ friendly coffee shop and brewery has created a space that blends comfort, creativity, and community in the best way. With cozy vibes and welcoming energy, Brew is more than just a spot for coffee or beer—it’s a place where people gather to unwind, connect, and belong. The interior is inviting, with warm tones, a corduroy couch, and bar seating that gives you a front-row view of the TVs or the friendly buzz of the counter. There’s also a lovely outdoor patio area for fresh air and people-watching. They have board games like Life and Mancala that are stacked and ready, while trivia nights and poetry slams add a fun, artistic twist to your usual café hangout. Right before the restroom (which requires a code), there’s a community board filled with flyers for events, clubs, and local activities. They even sell handmade jewelry, which adds to the thoughtful, crafted feel of the place. Brew’s hours vary throughout the week: Monday–Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 8 PM Wednesday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 6 PM Saturday: 7:30 AM – 5 PM Sunday: 7:30 AM – 4 PM The staff are warm and approachable—especially the barista with the blond pixie cut and glasses (I wish I caught her name!). They all give great drink and food recommendations if you're unsure what to try. Their menu offers both breakfast and lunch, and they’ve nailed the balance between comfort and freshness. I’ve tried their breakfast burrito, which was flavorful and satisfying—especially with the salsa and sour cream served on the side. The avocado toast was light and refreshing, with the crunch and zing of onions on top. And on a chilly day, their creamy, thick potato soup with fresh bread was the perfect warm-up. They offer 12 rotating taps featuring some of the best IPAs, beers, and ciders. But if you’re not in the mood for alcohol, you’re still in great hands. Their coffee and tea menu is broad, and even as someone who doesn’t drink regular coffee, I appreciate that they’ll make any decaf drink like a latte or Americano. I usually go with a simple caramel or vanilla decaf latte. Brew also sources baked goods from local favorites like Criminal Baking Company, Village Bakery, Red Bird Bakery, and Grateful Bagel. You can taste the craft in every bite. Accessibility is considered here—there's wheelchair access, though do note the bathroom is in a tighter space due to the building’s layout. They're also pet-friendly, which adds to the community feel. One of my favorite things about Brew is that their values shine through everything they do. They don’t just talk about love and inclusivity—they live it. Their philosophy is centered around craft: “Craft has the power to elevate an experience, change a day, crack a smile.” That ethos comes through in every drink, every interaction, every cozy corner. Whether you're studying, reading, meeting up with a friend, going on a date, or just taking a breather, Brew is the kind of place that feels like it gets you. I give this Santa Rosa gem a full star rating and wholeheartedly recommend stopping by. Come support them! You’ll leave feeling better than when you arrived.
Situated under a giant tree, this delightful cafe is bright and feels personal to your soul. Look up at their specials menu written on the wall near the bar. It’s got some great varieties to their regular menu. Gluten free options available. All their bread is made from Revolution Bread, baked with ancient grains. I got their sunshine toast, it was magical and came with eggs, avocado, spinach, ricotta and micro greens. They know their locals! I was visiting but it was great to see them start orders for locals in line. You can get a ‘unicorn flight’ that is basically a shot of their various espresso blends with different house-made strips like cinnamon, ginger and caramel. Wine and beers on tap We played Trivia (one of their many board game varieties available) and ate breakfast near the windows letting in morning light.
nice atmosphere and coffee bar, breakfast served till 3. plenty of room inside and lots of seating outside.
Parking here is a little annoying, with the strange topography of streets and one-way traffic. The coffee is good, and there is a decent menu of food, but the food is overpriced. $12 for a pretty straightforward sandwich with a few potato chips is a little absurd. There are a couple nice couches, but when I was here, it seemed like an employee's younger sibling was camped out on the larger of the two. And they forgot to ring up my tater tots, so the thing I was most excited about on the menu didn't make it to my table, and I wasn't going to order them after the fact. I'm still leaving a 4 star review because I like the fact that they are open later in the day when most other locally owned coffe-serving cafes are closed for the day, and there are food options - even if way over priced, the sandwich was tasty. And the coffee is good, so there's that. I don't drink beer, so you'll have to take it purely on hearsay that my spouse tried a taster of the milk stout on tap (that sounds absolutely vile to me) and he said it was good.
I am very fond of this place. It's very much a neighborhood place. The people are wonderfully friendly and outgoing. They are dog friendly. They serve Killer Baking Company baked goods. They always have interesting beers on tap. I love their community outreach nights, whether it's "Gay Night" or "Trivia Tuesdays with Fridge" or "Homebrew Night" or what have you. I might wish that they had a little more space. About the only real complaint I have about Brew is that while some coffee connoisseurs go for it, their coffee seems overly harsh to me. I suppose that that is my fault for my unsophisticated palate, I do see it as a drawback.
As someone just passing through, I enjoyed the experience of the coffee flight and the salmon toast. Prices seemed high for what was delivered but everything tasted fine. Atmosphere was very chill on a Thursday morning.
Great neighborhood spot that provides a much needed gathering space for the community. The food and drinks are consistently delicious and the cafe makes an effort to bring in local products and frequent additions to their menu. My favorites are their grilled cheese specials and their iced Nutella mocha! Only wish they would update their seating as it can be a bit uncomfortable if you're planning to hang out.
Food was delicious. Service was pretty darned rough. In places where you both order and make drinks at the counter you should greet guests and just let them know you'll be with them. Don't completely ignore them and leave them confused while you make drinks.
Sweet spot, I appreciate the inclusive and eclectic atmosphere. The food is delicious and seems to be great quality, but small portions for that Nbay cost. $$ I keep thinking the staff will be nicer the more times I visit, but I haven't had the experience yet.. not sure if they're understaffed or what, but I'll keep trying 😊
You don't come here for the food, but it's the most fun coffee shop in Santa Rosa.
It a good place to grab a quick drink and bite to eat. The staff are friendly. The general atmosphere of the business is warm and inviting. I would definitely come back here again. They also have various activities they host here throughout each month. So I will be coming to check that out. The service was excellent and quick.
Atmosphere is relaxed, chill. Pour-over and roast were good. The breakfast selection was lacking - sandwiches seemed pre-made rather than fresh, and pastry variety was small. The staff seemed nice but they weren't very helpful - lacked a warm, welcoming feeling IMO. All-in-all a good experience and I would give it another try.
The only LGBTQIAP+ CAFE/Bar in the whole area that I am aware of. They have a lot of fun events every week. Drinks and food are alright but nothing too special. Great place to Socialize so if your going to study better to pick somewhere eles or call ahead to see how busy it is.
Nice big outdoor patio at a great LGBTQ friendly cafe. Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I like their little local merch table. Great for a coffee or a beer!
One of the best offerings Santa Rosa has for coffee and meeting up. It's still plagued by typical Santa Rosa parking charges, which are largely vacant elsewhere in the county. I won't knock them from that in the rating area. Very inclusive place with some warm employees. The pricing is a bit wild if you're coming from anywhere else in the Bay Area, and that's probably because the owners don't have a good understanding of how many employees they actually have working at any time. I've seen people on two separate occasions complain to the staff about the pricing. But hey, maybe the rent is just bad. Other nitpicks: the a/c doesn't work and you get the feeling that the owners aren't too focused any longer. The outside area is pretty half baked. Beer selection is good, not great, but it's awesome to double fist a coffee and a beer. Overall though, it's a good enough location and a pretty decent concept hampered by pricing that's a little lofty and not sustainable to raise any further. I'm giving 4 stars because it's the only decent well in the desert that is Rosa. Acre by comparison would be a 2, with Peets a 3 and Starbucks a 1. Enjoy!
Good place. Nice people. Pastries are good but not fresh. Coffee was good and served quickly.
The burritos were the best. The macro bowl was not flavorful at all. The waffles are amazing. The wait was far too long.
Had a Matcha latte, very tasty and well made. Relaxing location to sit for a bit and relax. Despite being between 2 streets, there is very little noise overall. Lots of seating inside and out. Parking is not very plentiful so plan accordingly. There are a few metered spots nearby, and a Parking lot and garage a few blocks away. I will come back and try the beer next time.
Went here since it is so decently rated, but the breakfast sandwich I received did not seem like it should be 11$. It's a little over priced for some microwave bacon.
This was a donut shop originally when I went there in the mid 70's. Looks like a great place for most that work close by. I had an appointment around the corner at the time and been parked in the parking garage since 9am. This was my first time there, I wanted a BLT but they didn't have all fixings, so it's just not for me.
I had a delicious blueberry muffin and coffee at this place. The servers were all very nice and the atmosphere is great. I really enjoyed having natural lighting and it wasn't so dark or crowded. My only complaint is its location, parking really sucks around here and on top of paying for downtown priced food and beverages, I don't want to pay and feed the meter constantly. There's a limited amount of street or closeby parking available. There's a covered parking garage nearby which you of course need to pay for. For mere convenience, I would rather go to a coffee shop/bar/restaurant which has dedicated parking rather than this place.
I keep trying to give this place second chances but unfortunately, they keep disappointing. It seems like the consistency here is off and every time I come in, I get different size portions and quality. I ordered the avocado toast and added cucumbers and carrots. The total came out to $9 with tip and tax and I received one small piece of toast. The last time I came in, I was given two pieces. I just wish the consistency was better because the food is really tasty. I don’t think I’ll be coming back
The Classic Breakfast Sandwich was fantastic! Coffees good, nice gal that helped me at the counter. My first time there. As they say..”You don’t get a second chance at a first impression”. This place could be so nice with a little love. My first impression about this place is how run down it appears from the outside. The garden sitting area obviously hasn’t been swept, or leaves blown in a very long time. The planter boxes and surrounding areas to the sidewalks desperately need to be weeded and tended too. Windows are dirty. Litter outside. Maybe hire a gardener once a week to remedy the situation? But I understand how hard running a small business is, been there. But I’d recommend the owners walk across the street and look back at their space. What does it say to the community? Tired, burned out. Get a new flag out front too. This easy face lift refresh will create a buzz and show the community that something new is happening and increase your sales! Because it shows you care, which also translates to…we care about the appearance of our community and we care about the quality of the food and beverages we serve. But if the owners ever read this, I say, take a vacation, get some rest. Then have look. Yes I’ll be back, but now I’ll expect to lower my bar at least for the appearance of your establishment. My best to you on your journey.
It's nice but 2 times there already and usually no space inside, so make sure to bring warm jackets and blankets in case of you go early in the morning or during winter days. Mostly breakfast food and small portions.
Coffee is good. I ordered a breakfast burrito. I couldn't finish it. It was so hot, like it had been nuked for 5 minutes and then sat on. It felt like I was eating an egg hot pocket that wouldn't cool off for 30 minutes. Oh well live and learn.
breakfast burrito was $10 and really mid, the potatoes were half cooked and it was pretty much all cheese. the woman running the register had a pretty judgmental attitude when my girlfriend asked a question about a drink. i will say the cappucino was alright. but the vibes were off, the interaction at the register didn’t help, and $10 for that burrito…hoping it was just a bad day to go to Brew.
I have no idea how they got any review over 1 Star. Ordered two breakfast burritos; and got kid sized frozen burritos heated in a fry pan. I was charged $2 extra for a cup of sour cream and $2 for salsa from a can. Zero effort for $25. Dirty windows and floors. Oh my.
Every time I order here they always forget something I add on to my food orders. And normally I let it Go, sure they steal money from you by charging extra for add ons and then not refund you when their cooks are so high they can’t make the food right. Not to mention the girl with the blue hair that works there is extremely rude and snappy. Why do you work in the industry if you don’t know how to be nice and talk appropriately to your guest. Management should retrain her to Learn some hospitality manners.
The number of times they get my coffee right is zero. And I don't even order anything complicated. A Gibraltar or cortado iced. It's a 1.5 or 1 to 1 ratio of milk to espresso. Without. Fail. Every. Time. It. Is too. Much. Milk. This isn't hard. Don't eyeball. Don't guess. Measure. And it will be right. $6 for a drink I have to consistently ask to be remade every. Single. Time. Is too much. When I settled to go back inside, the barista directly told me an iced cortado/gilbraltar "wasn't a real drink" and they don't make that. So I guess that is why it is always wrong. They are intentionally taking my order and making me a different drink. Also, I tripped hard over ledge of sinking bricks 6 months ago that not only have they not fixed, it's gotten worse. FYI for anyone who hurts themselves on property that they are aware it's an issue and are negligent in not repairing it I'm over it.
