Fish tacos, taquitos in your burrito, delicious chips and so much more!! There's a reason this place has been around more than most. Friendly and fast service along with pretty dang good prices for what you get.

Ordered 3 TJ style carnitas tacos and the surf and turf fries. The tacos were moist and flavorful. The fries had a lot of carne asada, jalapeños and some shrimp but lacked cheese to me. The fries were the large order $17 and charge.

May i just say i have known about Fernys for years but never went.They are known in the community for having quality authentic Mexican food as well as unique menu items and combinations. They exceeded my expectations may just say and the dine in experience is so nice in the morning time, the little fake flowers in the vases just bring a nice charm. The ladies run this show and they do wonderful job. Check em out. Parking lot is not good in terms of infrastructure but there more room in the back.

Go to is Surf and Turf burrito. Recipe changed a bit within the last 2 years but still good. Limited seating inside but most people order to go. Parking is also very limited.

Ferny's Mexican grill is excellent Mexican food with excellent service I've been driving by for years and finally decided to try it and dang I've been missing out on great Mexican food Fernys Mexican grill will be my new Mexican dinner spot when in santee definitely worth a try good portions I will definitely go back for breakfast and try a breakfast burrito

My buddy lives in this area and I am very glad he had taken me here. Ferry’s seems like there are always customers around which was very promising. They have a relatively simple menu but still have plenty good options. The first time I had gone here I ordered Ferny’s Burrito, which is very similar to a California Burrito, 3 Flautas and Flan. The burrito was great and the flautas were delicious and crispy. Their items are perfect portions, possibly a little bit big but in no way is that a problem. I came here a second time and got the #2 combo, which was a taco and beef enchilada. Both items were beef but you can ask for different meat in the taco. Once again, good portion and tastes amazing. There is plenty more to say but for now, their Flan is SOOOO GOOD!!! Both times I when I ended up getting the last piece. I was super lucky and ordered it even though I kinda felt bad because it apparently seems popular. The Flan is super creamy and has so much flavor it’s unreal. I will be back and will give an update or just post more pictures! … only 1 complaint… why is there cheese on the taco and not cilantro and onion?!?!

I used the walk up window for ordering. Fast and friendly service. I tried the new Gyrofries. I ordered the large and it is too much for one person. It comes loaded with real gyro meat, thinly sliced and tasty along with fresh tomatoes, onion, peppers and feta cheese over a lot of fries. It would be better served over chips, as the fries don't stay crispy. But a decent sized meal for sure.

The burritos are small, nearly half the size of all the competitors, but flavor is good. and the service always has a attitude.

I had 1 carne asada taco, not a street for $5.85, the carne asada was chewy and the size of a street taco, most taco shops will give you plenty of asada and guacamole to make 2 tacos, this place is by far not worth the $$$.
