Fuimos a cenar sin reserva mi pareja y yo, nos dijeron que esperáramos media hora y al volver nos atendieron con rapidez, sin tener que esperar en la fila. Inicialmente nos pusieron en una mesa cualquiera pero al quedarse libre el hueco de la ventana nos ofrecieron cambiarnos para poder disfrutar de las vistas, muy considerados, se agradece el detalle. La camarera y la mujer (que suponíamos que era la dueña), fueron súper amables con nosotros, estuvieron también muy pendientes de que todo estuviera bien. La comida espectacular, os recomiendo pedir el risotto de camarones y el de pulpo, una delicia. Se nota que cocinan con cariño y amor. Es un poco caro, pero se entiende por la zona, vistas y calidad de la comida, cualquier bar de esa zona tiene precios similares. Si volvemos a Oporto, sin duda repetiremos ❤️❤️

I have visited this place on the first day of my trip. The combination of oysters, basil pesto, pasta, and green wine was fantastic. This is the reason why I drank three classes of green wine. The manager's lovely service was a highlight of my first day. I had planned to visit again on the second day, but unfortunately had to cancel due to health concerns. However, this place left a wonderful and lasting impression on Porto. I will never forget this place. Thank you Terra Nova and I‘m sure I'll visit this place again if I ever come back to Porto.

Had two evening meals here a couple weeks ago while in Porto for a week for work at a conference. The fish was truly amazing. There was live music outside and a friendly atmosphere. The waiter helped choose a wine. I loved the cod. We had local people with us but the team there also spoke great English. Great view of the river and the bridge. Close walk to my hotel. Not expensive. They catered for a few diets without batting an eye.

Omg everything was fabulous and delicious! Forgot to take photos before eating!!! Flavours were perfect amount, not overpowering, could perfectly taste everything. The food and wine were all absolutely fantastic, especially the octopus risotto and burrata cheese salad! The seasoning was simple yet timeless. I sat on the terrace, with a fantastic view of the Dom Luis Bridge and the sunset, and musicians playing right in front of us. The staff were also fantastic, especially the manager Mimi, who was so warm and caring, making my trip to Porto even more special. I think this restaurant deserves a higher star rating; it was my favorite restaurant during my stay in Porto. Thank you!

A Wonderful Dinner After the Douro River Cruise We were two women visiting after enjoying a cruise along the Douro River. We didn’t have a reservation and were initially told the place was fully booked. However, after waiting about 10 minutes, we were lucky enough to get a table inside — which was great, especially because it was quite cold outside. (If you’re visiting during high season, we definitely recommend making a reservation!) We ordered a variety of dishes, 1. 6 oysters 2. Burrata salad with homemade pesto 3. Bacalhau à Brás (after the first dishes arrived) 4. Oyster pasta 5. Nero risotto with grilled octopus 6. Shrimp risotto 7. Nuts, cheese & pumpkin jam (+ 8.Fried codfish) While all the dishes were delicious, our absolute favorites were: 2. Burrata Salad We often order burrata wherever we go, but this one was exceptional. The homemade basil sauce complemented the creamy burrata perfectly — a standout dish. 3. Bacalhau à Brás We were intrigued by its unique appearance: finely shredded potatoes topped with a black seafood paste and a raw egg yolk. It turned out to be incredibly flavorful, with an amazing depth of umami from the seafood. 5. Black Risotto with Grilled Octopus The grilled octopus was some of the best we’ve ever had — tender and perfectly cooked. The risotto itself was rich, savory, and simply delicious. We also think the cheese & pumpkin jam listed under desserts would be perfect as a wine pairing or appetizer. Finally, what truly elevated our dining experience was the service by Dante♡♡♡ who was friendly, attentive, and made us feel warmly welcomed. Dante, do you remember the two Japanese women who ordered so many dishes? 😊 Thank you for the wonderful night and unforgettable food!

첫날 점심에 도착하자마자 우연히 갔는데 맛집! 먹물 문어 리조또는 강추입니다!!! 친절해요 :) We stumbled upon this place by chance on our first afternoon in Porto — and it turned out to be a real gem. The squid ink octopus risotto was absolutely amazing — rich, deep in flavour, and cooked perfectly. The prawn risotto was also delicious and full of freshness. paired with both Vinho Verde and Port wine, and both were excellent. The staff were very kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. A fantastic find to kick off our trip!

Beautiful view, next to the water and the bridge, in the evening gives romantic vibe. Food was good (not wow, risotto was kind of plain), drinks were fine too. It’s just felt like the staff was very busy, and they come to you to take the order and bring food and feels like they don’t really care if you like it or not, it’s more about making the restaurant earn money. I saw a person near us didn’t finish the dish and they were like “whatever”.

We chanced by this restaurant from the reviews and wanting a view by the river. The experience was great. The food was prepared with a subtle and balanced taste which was not overpowering, which is unlike what we have tried so far in our trip. We ordered pasta and risotto and they were all great. We made a reservation, mainly because of the location - looking for something with 'decent reviews by the waterfront' and the fact that it was easy to make a reservation online. That said, we got what we were looking for - a really nice experience from our outdoor table, during golden hour/sunset, on a warm evening - that was perfect. Our food was good, nothing to complain about, but it wasn't the best meal we had in Porto, in my opinion. Service was efficient but not overly friendly. You get really close to your table neighbours here - there isn't a lot of space between tables. But the vibe is good because it's such a nice experience watching the people stroll by, seeing the sun set, listening to the buskers, etc. There are a number of restaurants right beside each other in a row, so you have to look carefully for this one. All-in-all, to be able to book ahead online, for an outdoor table, with a view, and solid food, this was a good choice.

oysters were exclaimed by others to be very good and fresh but we found ours really small, and one of them shrivelled up which makes me worried about freshness. the rest of the dishes were okay but nothing to shout about service was efficient though it was weird that they served main courses and appetisers all at one go, which was not a great idea because the table is tiny. the waiter didn't bother to help arrange as well, just placed the plates on the table and left. the restaurant requires you to put down a credit card guarantee when you reserve. kind of regretted reserving a table here before coming into Porto because when we walked around town, there seemed to be much better and cheaper options

I would say around 3.5 ish. It’s a mixed bag. Nero risotto very tasty but not a blast. However the other dishes like the cod fish with carrot and puree… is nothing to remember. It was plain and very vague taste wise. Like eating infant food from a small jar. Very narrow restaurant basically glued to other ones . Not much space overall . Some guest had troubles to move the chair away even. Ok I get it it’s a fantastic place to eat In the vicinity of the bridge. But all the noise , and crowds really ain’t fun. Also the spice girls music didn’t add up … If it’s for the view come by, if it’s for the food it’s fine , but if you are looking for a romantic place to take a look at the bridge while you consume some seafood .. that ain’t such place.

Reservamos aquí porque nos llamó la atención sus platos y los comentarios que había, pero fue un poco decepcionante la verdad. Éramos dos adultos y dos niños para comer. Para los niños pedimos un solomillo y eso la verdad estaba bastante bien. Y nosotros pedimos bacalao a la bras , llegó frío y la yema del huevo totalmente cruda , después compartimos un risotto de arroz negro con pulpo y otro de langostinos, y la verdad que el risotto saben hacerlo pero es decepcionante que con un risotto tan bueno te pongan un pulpo de bolsa envasado al vacío , y en el de langostinos , no tenía langostinos el risotto fue hecho con un fume pero faltaron esos trozos de langostinos por todo el risotto en vez de una pieza de langostino con cáscara. Y ya para terminar estábamos contentos con la atención pero al final lo estropearon todo ya que nos marchamos sin comer postre porque estuvimos esperando 35 minutos a que vinieran a tomarnos nota del postre. En definitiva esperábamos mucho más de este lugar. Relación calidad precio no compensa

This experience was unacceptable and extremely serious. Our entire group (4–5 people) dined at this restaurant. Shortly after the meal, every single one of us suffered from food poisoning. The symptoms were severe and immediate. As a direct result, we were physically unfit to travel and missed our flight back to the UK. This caused major disruption to our plans, significant stress, and unexpected financial loss. It is deeply concerning that food served at an established restaurant could result in multiple people becoming ill at the same time. This points to a serious food safety and hygiene issue, not an isolated incident. Food poisoning is not a minor inconvenience — it can ruin an entire trip and put people’s health at risk. Based on our experience, we strongly warn others, especially travellers, to think very carefully before eating here. This restaurant needs to take responsibility and urgently review its food handling standards. This review reflects our real experience as paying customers.
