We really didn’t want a cocktail bar that’s also a tourist trap. This was the perfect choice. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us custom drinks—we let them surprise us, just giving a few hints—and I have to say, it was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it! We paid €12 per drink.

Wir hatten vorher schon gelesen, dass man sich hier auf eine geschmackliche Expedition einstellen muss, aber das wir nach wenigen Minuten Gespräch vom Service so sehr und so gut überrascht werden, wäre auch uns nicht in den Sinn gekommen. Vor allem der letzte Cocktail erfüllt den Tatbestand des "perfect fit". Nichts hat sich besser und richtiger angefühlt als dieses Getränk. Gemischt von einem Fremden. Und gleichzeitig einem Künstler. Vielen Dank für diese Erfahrung...

Wonderful bar at a lovely little spot in Castello. I had one of the best cocktails ever, served in a bathtub :-) After a short chat the nice lady recommended this drink and it was just delicious!

Super schöne Bar mit einem gewissen Charme, bereits beim reinkommen wurden wir von der chilligen Musik und dem Freundlichen Personal in Bann gezogen. Dann wurde uns ein Wasser serviert und uns das Konzept der Bar erklärt. Jeder von uns sagte in Stichworten in welche Richtung unser Cocktail gehen soll dann wurden wir von sehr leckeren Getränken überrascht 😋🍹🍸 Wir waren so begeistert das wir ein 2 mal in der Bar vorbei geschaut haben 🤭 Ein Besuch Lohnt sich definitiv !!

Questo locale è un gioiello perfetto, i cocktail più buoni che io abbia mai bevuto in vita mia, c’è tanta ricerca degli ingredienti e studio di abbinamenti, non hanno menu perché si adattano ai tuoi gusti creando il cocktail giusto per te, cosa si vuole di più dalla vita? Essendo 6 persone al tavolo ne abbiamo provati davvero tanti e nemmeno uno ci ha deluso, anzi, ogni cocktail che ordinavamo era una nuova scoperta assurda di sapori. Cosa darei per avervi nella mia cittá! Spero un giorno di tornare!

Incredible cocktail bar that you have to visit if you are in Cagliari. Becky is an amazing host who recommends cocktails based on your favourite flavours and suggests adding a twist to classic cocktails. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. We initially went in for one drink and ended up staying for 4 incredible cocktails each! Beckys husband Federico works the magic behind the bar. He is incredibly talented and some of their signature cocktails are out of this world. Hands down the best cocktails we've ever had. Very reasonable prices for the quality of drinks you are receiving. The classic whiskey sour was the best I've had, the same with the old fashioned. The Gemini cocktail was incredible with a lovely story behind it. The few hours we spent here was one of the top highlights of our entire trip. Benedetto (sorry if we got your name wrong) was also great! If we are back in Cagliari this will be our first stop!

Wir hatten jeweils einen für uns kreierten und einen Signature Cocktail. Alle Cocktails waren optisch ansprechend, rochen herausragend und schmeckten hervorragend. Der tolle, persönliche Service macht das Erlebnis perfekt. Die Preise sind für die Qualität sehr, sehr fair.

Me and my family really liked this bar. We only drank a few drinks but it was a really nice experience. The service was great and the drinks were amazing. The terrace outside had a nice vibe and looks cozy. A real recommendation.

We stopped by for a drink on our last evening in sardegna. We got a very warm welcome. Instead of offering is the “standard” cocktail card we were asked what our favorite tastes were. With that a customized cocktail was created. We were offered some small snacks, olives and iced water for free as well. All in all a very good experience. 5/5!

The best bar you will find in cagliari! It's a bar focused on cocktails & the cool thing is, they don't have an actual menu. You can describe your taste to them & they will create a perfect cocktail for you. Of course you can order standard cocktails as well. They don't have any food, but they will serve you some snacks along the drinks. The personel is very very nice & generous! If I'm ever in cagliari again, i will come back to the bar!

Sometimes, explaining perfection is quite tricky. I have been to cocktail bars all over the world and have been a bit of a cocktail bar tourist. I even watch the cocktail making show Drink Masters on Netflix. so I have form. My partner and I had just been out for a meal and a long walk around beautiful Cagliari and were about to head home and turn in for the night. We passed a bar with open doors, playing chilled vibes and with inviting velvet drapes framing the entrance. I was instantly drawn to it and in we went. Inside it was small but cosy. Opposite us there were 3 people enjoying quite flamboyant looking cocktails, one served in a glass the shape of a puffer fish! We asked for a cocktail list and were told that they don’t have one. Just tell them what you would like or the types of cocktails you like and they will do the rest. Hmmmm…… I said that I like tart cocktails and would normally go with a perfectly made margarita with mezcal or a porn star martini. I was served in a puffer fish glass a passion fruit mezcal margarita with a flaming sugar lump. BEST COCKTAIL EVER. Perfectly balanced flavours. The smoky tartness of the mezcal balanced out with the sweet/sour passion fruit was perfect. And I am fussy. My partner had pisco sour. It came served in a bird shaped glass. It was perfect. We ended up in a slight argument when I accidentally over-sipped and emptied the glass but that’s another story. The owner had Gemini twins, hence the name of the bar so I finished the evening with a Gemini cocktail. Spicy and sweet to represent the yin Yang nature of the star sign. Perfect. I would say as it’s small and intimate don’t rock up with a bunch of lads. Stay in the town centre. If you are after the fine dining equivalent in cocktails you can thank me later. Who would have thought that Cagliari would be home to perhaps the best cocktail experience in the world.

Beautiful small cocktail bar while still feeling like you can have a private conversation as the atmosphere is set impeccably with amazing lighting and music choice / volume. We had a fantastic evening here in our short stay in Cagliari. All of the cocktails we had were fantastic and expertly crafted. You can tell they have a real passion when we talked with the friendly staff who were more than happy to recommend us cocktails based on our preferences. There is no menu so be prepared to be experimental! But they do all of the usuals of course. We also were able to order food from the place next door in case you get hungry.

Super nice staff who gives you recommendations for cocktails. The cocktails are high quality and super delicious. The bar itself is quite small but cozy and cool with an great ambiente. You should ask for the Old Fashioned with rum, peanut butter and popcorn. It will change your life!

In the weeks leading up to our trip to Cagliari, I researched potential restaurants and cocktail bars. On our final night, we finally had the opportunity to try this charming little bar. We booked in advance. There is outdoor seating, but we chose to sit inside, due to there being a stronger breeze than usual. First things first, there is no official menu. On being seated, you are told that the way it works is that you explain/describe what sort of drink/specific flavours you like and that the talented mixologists conjure their magic. Each drink is charged at a set price of €13 and you could feel the love and respect that went into each one. These people truly are masters of their craft. The owners are so polite. So personable. Initially, there is old-school American jazz music playing in the background, later I detected the soulful beats of Ghanaian blues. This, in combination with the dim lighting, succeeds in creating the perfect atmosphere. On departing, I left smiling with a smug sense of satisfaction that I had "found" this place, but also rued that I wouldn't get the chance to go there again. Though not before taking in a free shot that was offered to us. Honestly, the whole experience was magnificent. The best cocktail bar in Cagliari and as good as any that I have been to across Europe.

Die Cocktails waren extrem gut. Es gibt keine Karte, sondern man beschreibt der Servicekraft welche Art von Cocktails man gerne mag und es wird etwas empfohlen oder individuell gemixt. Es gibt auch Klassiker. Zudem sitzt man sehr schön draußen!

Il VERO cocktail “su misura” ! Scrivo questa recensione con piena cognizione di causa, dopo aver provato i cocktail di Gemini per 10/15 volte negli ultimi 2 anni. Ogni volta ho provato un qualcosa di differente che mi ha lasciato a bocca aperta. Da un classico New York Sour, ad un whiskey sour rivisitato nei modi più particolari possibili, per arrivare ad un tequila, metzcal, passion fruit e peperone, ogni cocktail è un esplosione di colori e sapori che ha dell’incredibile. Il locale è spettacolare, piccolo, molto intimo e con una musica di sottofondo semplicemente perfetta. Un vero american bar!! Personale fantastico, Becky e Federico sono due splendidi padroni di casa. Consigliano il cocktail perfetto e lo preparano alla perfezione, cosa chiedere di più? Super consigliato, 10 stelle per voi!

un luogo con un'atmosfera romantica dove sorseggiare un drink o un cocktail... molto frequentato da coppie per la sua atmosfera accogliente. Il bar non offre un servizio aperitivo, tuttavia molto carina la collaborazione con il locale affianco per poter mangiare qualcosa. Noi abbiamo consumato un abbondante tagliere per due con prodotti ottimi. Posto consigliatissimo.

Esteso: su consiglio di amici professionisti del mondo dei bar/drink decidiamo di provare per la prima volta il Gemini American Bar. Sfruttiamo l'orario del Venerdi, circa le 18:30 per presentarci come primi clienti. Siamo accolti dalla bravissima e disponibile Becky che ci illustra che non hanno un menù e che con una piccola serie di domande sui nostri gusti ci avrebbe preparato dei drink personalizzati. Per me la cosa era sfidante, in quanto non sono un bevitore di drink, men che meno alcolici e dovendo guidare dovevo proprio evitare l'alcol e sono di gusti difficili. Becky è riuscita a creare questi due drink: Per mia moglie: Whisky al burro d'arachidi Campari infuso alle foglie di fico Vermuth cocchi Scorza d'arancia Per me: Cordiale di spremuta d'arancia Chiarificata con lo zafferano Limone e essenza di mandarino Il tutto accompagnato da due snack della tradizione del Kyrgyzstan, credo ispirati ai Piroshki, preparati proprio da Becky, fatti di pasta sfoglia con ripieno di carne e qualche spezia. All'assaggio dei drink, ci si sono illuminati gli occhi! sapori incredibili, mai provati! Quelle sensazioni che trasformano una bevuta in una esperienza vera e propria! Se poi aggiungiamo la bontà degli snack proposti si va a completare il tutto. Prezzo? 11 Euro a testa con tanto di shottino finale di mini brindisi tra noi tre offerto da Becky. Grazie all'origine Kyrghisa di Becky e a quella Russa di mia moglie , due storie quasi comuni per certi aspetti, è stato bellissimo poter scambiare due chiacchiere a 360 gradi, apprezzando la fiducia riposta in noi e la serenità del momento durante la consumazione. E' stato il vantaggio di essere i primi clienti visto che solitamente la clientela target arriva molto più tardi. Grazie Becky e Federico, che non abbiamo potuto conoscere in questa occasione, per questo progetto imprenditoriale che fa arrivare ai clienti l'amore e una grande professionalità per il Vostro lavoro! Il Gemini è davvero quello che mancava nel contesto della movida cagliaritana. Finalmente un locale di altissimo livello che ti sorprende e ti entusiasma: location di gran gusto e atmosfera, cocktail meravigliosamente originali, perfetti negli equilibri e nella presentazione, un servizio impeccabile per preparazione, empatia, discrezione e buon gusto. Capisci immediatamente che dietro al bancone c'è qualcuno che lavora con estrema passione, sensibilità e una professionalità davvero fuori dal comune; il tutto arricchito da una gentilezza ed educazione ormai in via di "estinzione". Un grande in bocca al lupo per questa "nuova" attività, un grazie e.... BRAVI!!

We stumbled on this beautiful little bar wandering through the castello quarter, drawn by the music. Becky is a wonderful host, very charming. The atmosphere is beautiful and created by attention to every little detail. My cocktail was bursting with fresh fruit flavour. Very relaxing and well worth a visit.

Diese Bar kann ich wirklich jedem nur ans Herz legen! Ich kann mich nicht erinnern vorher schon mal so leckere Cocktails getrunken zu haben, der Barkeeper stellt diese genau nach deinen Wünschen zusammen. Dazu kommt das atemberaubende Ambiente die perfekte Musik Auswahl und die herzlichsten Besitzer die man sich vorstellen kann. Man fühlt sich willkommen und möchte am liebsten in keine andere Bar mehr gehen. Wenn ich könnte würde ich diese Bar zurück mit nach Deutschland nehmen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Un perla sul bastione di Cagliari. Innovazione e classico si incontrano in un posto dagli arredi eleganti e sorrisi cordiali in cui l’atmosfera soffusa crea un ambiente che ti fa sentire come a casa di ritorno da lavoro. Via la giacca, un bel respiro e fatti coccolare dai ragazzi. Sapranno sicuramente consigliarti il drink adatto al momento giusto. Personalmente uno tra i miei posti preferiti. I cocktails sono eccellenti e mai scontati. Provare per credere

We were extremely satisfied with the service, cocktails were amazing. Becky was very helpful, assisting us with choosing our cocktails and was always there to check if everything was ok, or to make any modifications. I ordered some extremely spicy cocktails and were amazing, very balanced taste. I will revisit Gemini for sure!

Muy buena atención. Ambos camareros muy atentos, recomiendan , te pregunta por tus gustos para poder darte un buen servicio. Ofrecen un vaso con agua y hielo antes de que pidas, muy buen detalle con este calor.

Fantástico sitio, saben lo que hacen y tienen muy buen material, incluso varías marcas de mezcal. Muy recomendable para un trago de calidad.

Quando vedo un locale recensito 5/5 sono sempre stranita e diffidente, ma dopo essere stata al Gemini Bar ti rendi conto che a quest’ esperienza (perché si tratta di una vera e propria esperienza, non di una semplice bevuta) non si può che attribuire il massimo punteggio. Situato nella zona alta di Cagliari, grazioso spazio esterno, magnifico ed originale l’interno. I cocktail vengono preparati in base ai gusti dei clienti e descritti solo dopo l’assaggio (a meno che non si opti per un cocktail classico). Strepitosi!! Assolutamente consigliato.

Am descoperit Gemini American Bar într-o seară și pot spune că a fost una dintre cele mai plăcute surprize din Cagliari. Atmosfera este relaxată, cu un vibe cosmopolit, dar în același timp intim și prietenos. Ce m-a impresionat cu adevărat au fost cocktailurile unice, gândite cu creativitate și preparate cu multă grijă. Multe dintre băuturi sunt realizate pe loc in functie de gusturile tale , ceea ce oferă o notă de originalitate greu de găsit în alte baruri. Se simte pasiunea mixologilor pentru ceea ce fac – fiecare pahar este o experiență. Personalul este amabil, atent și bine pregătit, mereu gata să recomande ceva potrivit gusturilor tale. Fie că ești pasionat de mixologie sau doar în căutarea unui loc cool pentru o seară relaxantă, Gemini American Bar merită din plin o vizită. Recomand cu incredere !

Toller Abend! Der Service war top – freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Cocktails schmeckten super, könnten aber etwas mehr Alkohol vertragen – am besten einfach mal ansprechen. Ruhige, gediegene Atmosphäre, perfekt zum Entspannen. Klare Empfehlung! 🍸

Incredibly unique concept. There is no menu — drinks are tailored to your preferences! I had a twist on the Sex on the Beach, mixing orange and saffron. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. And the drinks were delicious! I definitely recommend visiting here to get a uniquely made cocktail. (I also really appreciated the feminine hygiene products in the women’s bathroom — very considerate!)

Op onze laatste avond in Cagliari deze fantastische cocktail bar ontdekt…en wauw, wat een parel! Op het moment dat je plaats neemt wordt je warm ontvangen, krijg je een glaasje water en wordt er aan je gevraagd waar je zin in hebt. Ze hebben geen menu-kaart, maar stellen meerdere vragen waarna ze een cocktail voor je samenstellen. Deze zijn ongeveer €12 per stuk. Een sfeervolle, rustige plek waar ze niet de classic cocktails serveren, maar echt toveren met drank! Echt magisch! Daarnaast is het personeel ontzettend vriendelijk en kundig. We werden bediend door een lieve man die tijdens het gesprek aangaf dat hij er ongeveer een jaar werkt en hier ontzettend graag werkt. Hij dacht met ons mee, was gastvrij en had ontzettend veel kennis! We zijn heel erg fijn door hem geholpen. Al met al een plek waar we absoluut terug naar zouden gaan… Jammer dat we het pas ontdekt hebben op onze laatste avond.

Amazing place with an amazing concept! Loved their drinks. I went for a classic gimlet and they met my expectations. My partner went for a mojito with a twist and we both enjoyed his drink as well. I recommend everybody to come here for both the atmosphere and to receive excellent service!

When you take a seat at Gemini Becky doesn't give you a menu instead she asks "what are you looking for?" I'm never sure if she wants to know about my life or what I want to drink... so I usually tell her both. She has a clairvoyant power to read your vibe and relay that to the mixologist Federico who happens to be her husband and co-owner. The whole staff is masterful and the results are the memories you'll recall on your flight home while reflecting on your favorite moments from Sardinia. Becky and Federico decided to start this bar after years of working as a power couple in the industry. When they found out they were pregnant - with twins - they decided they wanted to set an example and show their prodigy they could become anything in this world if they took risks and gave it their best. So Becky and Federico took a risk and started this bar. From your seat at the bar it hardly looks like a risk, they are naturals at creating an ambiance to remember. So stop by, take a drink or two, and make sure to introduce yourself to the staff. It might just be the highlight of your trip

Wir hatten vorher schon gelesen, dass man sich hier auf eine geschmackliche Expedition einstellen muss, aber das wir nach wenigen Minuten Gespräch vom Service so sehr und so gut überrascht werden, wäre auch uns nicht in den Sinn gekommen. Vor allem der letzte Cocktail erfüllt den Tatbestand des "perfect fit". Nichts hat sich besser und richtiger angefühlt als dieses Getränk. Gemischt von einem Fremden. Und gleichzeitig einem Künstler. Vielen Dank für diese Erfahrung...

In the weeks leading up to our trip to Cagliari, I researched potential restaurants and cocktail bars. On our final night, we finally had the opportunity to try this charming little bar. We booked in advance. There is outdoor seating, but we chose to sit inside, due to there being a stronger breeze than usual. First things first, there is no official menu. On being seated, you are told that the way it works is that you explain/describe what sort of drink/specific flavours you like and that the talented mixologists conjure their magic. Each drink is charged at a set price of €13 and you could feel the love and respect that went into each one. These people truly are masters of their craft. The owners are so polite. So personable. Initially, there is old-school American jazz music playing in the background, later I detected the soulful beats of Ghanaian blues. This, in combination with the dim lighting, succeeds in creating the perfect atmosphere. On departing, I left smiling with a smug sense of satisfaction that I had "found" this place, but also rued that I wouldn't get the chance to go there again. Though not before taking in a free shot that was offered to us. Honestly, the whole experience was magnificent. The best cocktail bar in Cagliari and as good as any that I have been to across Europe.
