Great menu split between Seafood and Land. Vito the waiter is outstanding, explaining local offerings. Owners always busy and welcoming. A must try on this little narrow street with a lot of charm and a cool breeze.

We went there last year and several times again this year. The service is beyond great, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they honestly make your visit memorable . The food is amazing, the flavours, waiting time, and portions… Perfection!!! Will definitely visit this place everytime we are around
Very nice restaurant in a cute alley. Food is really good, good local wine, nice portions and quality ingredients. Had lunch here several times and never disappoints. Friendly waiter, fluent in English and takes the time to explain and offer suggestions. The wild boar, the ragu and the mussels are perfect.

I had a great experience at this cosy restaurant in a little back alley of Sarzana's old town. I tried the Testaroli al pesto—something I'd never had before. It was really interesting, almost like an omelette, and definitely a good choice. The house wine, a Vermentino from a nearby winery, was also pretty nice. The waitress was very kind and made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, a lovely spot with a friendly vibe!

Mamma mia. Oh my god. Food is almost too good to be true. More than fair prices and a very friendly staff (looks like it's family owned). Will always stop here on our way to Italy.
What an amazing restaurant in the heart of Sarzana. The staff were kind enough to feed us when it was just about the end of lunch. The wine they serve from the region is the best we've had. The food is perfectly seasoned and delicious. The ambience is gorgeous. This is definitely the place to be. Loved it all.

This place is a gem, amazing food, great wine, excellent service and great value. The "Testarolo al Ragú verde di mare" is out of this world and the "core caldo al pistachio" is perfect to end the night!

Great food, great service and great value. The setting is very Romantic especially if you can sit outside in the alley way in front of the restaurant. Make sure you book a table because seats are limited and it's usually full!
Great spot, and an owner with an interesting background in deep sea boating! Nice decor, too….the desserts are not to miss

Looking for a good restaurant in Sarzana, a Google search told us Ristorante Il Viandante was highly rated. It was absolutely delightful. The owner and staff were welcoming, and everything was delicious. The marinated anchovies were perfect, the gnocchi was tender, and the fried calamari were the best I’ve ever had - very tender and just lightly brushed with flour (not overpowered with batter like most places). We had a wonderful time, and were treated to some of the owner’s special homemade Limoncello. Highly recommend.
terrific service, owner came to speak to us a bit and introduced us to his home made limencello, great seafood pasta, great prices and bottles of wine (7£) and on dishes.
Great food, fresh fish, large portions at very reasonable prices. Was delighted to finally find a place that serves fish with a wonderfully crispy skin. The Spigola served as a basket was delicious and fabulous to look at. Sadly, had no room for desert but they looked amazing too!
Food was fine but service by the lovely blond lady was fantastic. Very pleasant atmosphere and nice dessert!
