As soon as we arrived in Scarlino, we stopped at this restaurant. The view was breathtaking and there was a nice breeze. It was empty, considering the time (2 PM) and it was about to close at 3 PM, but they let us eat anyway. The owner, a kind and friendly guy, gave us some tips. The first courses were really good and plentiful. I had pappardelle with wild boar ragù, and my partner had tortelli with ricotta and sage, which were amazing. We'll definitely be back in the evening. I recommend it.

Even though the place is spartan, I absolutely recommend it. We ate fantastic tortelli alla maremmana and a sliced ​​steak with porcini mushrooms like few others... finishing with a fantastic berry mousse... all accompanied by a couple of glasses of excellent red wine (they have a good cellar). In the end, even the bill pleasantly and cowardly surprised me.

It was a really nice dinner, we see a wonderful sunset on Elba Island and scarlino sea, all were very good. we ate fresh fish and meat, all handmade with a very good service. we advise to eat Gran Fritto of fried fishes, wonderful! price also good! we will be back soon!

Vista bellissima sull'isola d'Elba e tramonti spettacolari. Cibo buono ed abbondante. Un posto davvero bello, vicino alle spiagge di Follonica e Punta Ala.

Tutto molto casereccio nel senso buono del termine. Menù volutamente molto sempplice il cui plus è sicuramente la pasta fresca, dai Ravioli Maremmani, veramente squisiti specialmente se apprezzati al burro e salvia, alle tagliatelle e maltagliati. Sicurmante non è ne un posto ricercato, ne tantomento "gourmet" ma se volete provare i gusti decisi della Maremma Toscana direi che questo posto fa per voi. Antipasti semplici, pochi primi con diversi sughi e secondi di carne alla griglia con cinghiale alla maremmana. Semplice ma molto buono e genuino. Al tutto si aggiunge una bella vista sul golfo di Follonica al tramonto, che ovviamente nei mesi invernali non si può godere... Il prezzo è allineato con l'offerta ed il personale è molto familiare anche nel rapporto con i clienti. Da ritornare

Unexpected location. Magnificent terrace!! Watching the sun set during dinner was truly romantic. The staff were truly kind, helpful, and friendly. The restaurant was casual yet well-maintained. We had a pleasant evening. The menu didn't include fish (very rare at the seaside, but appreciated by people like my boyfriend who don't eat it). We had a platter of cured meats and cheeses and baked potatoes and French fries (questionable choices, we know 😅), but the first and second courses were truly inviting. The baked potatoes 🔝 reminded me of home 💖 Dessert (panna cotta) was beautifully presented.

We ended up here following the good reviews encountered on Tripadvisor and we are glad we did. We did not have a reservation and arrived quite late but that wasn’t absolutely a problem as we were immediately welcomed and seated on the wonderful terrace with a spectacular view of the Tuscany coast. Pasta is handmade which is a big plus as it reminded us a taste we almost forgot. Slightly over priced bill as we paid around 100 EUR for two main dishes and a bottle of local wine (highly recommended Morellino di Scansano). Nevertheless, costumer care went far and beyond our expectations so we would happily come back in the future.

Balbo era Balbo ! Da Balbo s’andava pei crostini (quelli toscani coi fegatini) e pei tortelli. I primi tolti dal menù perché non si vendevano e i secondi seppur buoni e fatti in casa lasciano un po’…. Pasta troppo bianca e ripieno buono ma…. Abbiamo cercato il sito di questo ristorante e già gustavamo i piatti letti nel menù quando telefonando per prenotare abbiamo scoperto che la gestione era cambiata ed il menù era tutto diverso. Abbiamo cenato in terrazza con una vista stupenda. Antipasto ricco e molto gustoso, tagliata ottima, ma sia il coniglio alle verdure sia la rostinciana, erano più ossa che carne. Personale simpatico e disponibile, rapporto qualità prezzo sufficiente.

We dined on the terrace overlooking the sea at sunset... beautiful! The service was courteous and friendly. The rabbit was quite good, but the tagliata was tough to chew... a shame. Prices were moderately high.

The location was alright, the view was nice, however the bright lights around the restaurant were bothersome after sunset, making it difficult to enjoy. The food was also quite good; the homemade pasta dishes were a definite plus. The staff was friendly. The tablecloths, however, were definitely not to my taste.

A lovely location, especially at sunset. Healthy, authentic food, homemade pasta, and specialties include tortelloni stuffed with wild boar ragù. Beautiful, generous portions justify the above-average prices.

Non lo consiglio. Scarsa scelta di piatti per non parlare di vini. Ciò che viene proposto sul sito non corrisponde a realtà. Qualità del cibo sufficiente. Personale a tratti "nervosetto" ad eccezione del cuoco che si presentava ai tavoli sorridente gentile e servizievole. Prezzi esagerati. 101 € per 2 ravioli al ragù, mezzo antipasto di terra, un'acqua, due bistecche da 3 hg l'una (finte), una patata, un'insalata, un fagiolo. Mezzo vino. Locale internamente fermo agli anni 80. Esternamente da sagra. Unica nota positiva: il panorama.
