Never bad experience at this place. The food is made with love compliments to the chef. The service is so warm and welcoming. I came here recently for a celebration of life event. I would gladly come back.

We've been coming for years and are never disappointed! The recent menu change is great with new salads, additional entrees, and the "secret" brussels sprouts. It is an intimate and very pretty setting with little white lights and warmth. The waitstaff is extremely kind and attentive. The food is consistently well prepared and delicious. They are a little off the path of the main area of Scarsdale, but well worth venturing off to.

Excellent dining experience at this elegant Italian eatery. I particularly enjoyed the prix fixe options. I started with the delicious lentil soup which included a tasty combination of spinach and lemon. For my main, I had the hearty pappardelle bolognese which was flavorful and filling. I topped off the meal with a napolean which was creamy and mouth watering. Service was friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great dining experience.

We had our son’s gender reveal at 808 Bistro. We were a party of 15. Our son and his girlfriend wanted something intimate with great food. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Linda and Sal were very accommodating they gave us one side of the restaurant and set up the tables for the decorations. Nelson and all the servers were very attentive to all our needs.

Such a cute spot! We came in right as they were changing over for dinner, but ended up going with the lunch menu anyway. The staff was kind and helpful. The menus on iPads were fun! I really enjoyed the chicken, and my husbands burger was great!

We came early on a Friday night, and were surprised to learn it was restaurant week. Although I had been looking forward to some of my favorite items on the regular menu (crispy shrimp wontons FTW!!), I found some of them on the special menu, like the meatballs and crab cake. Ftr, this is the best crab cake you can find! And it did not disappoint. The pork chop was like braised beef and melted in my mouth. The duck confit was perfectly crispy, and the meatballs were as flavorful as I remember. The apple strudel was a delight. As far as service goes, the wait staff were professional, courteous, and went the extra mile to make us happy. They handled the restaurant week crowd with grace! I love this place, and highly recommend eating here if you can.

Food was very good. They have some nice lunch specials. The crab cake was exceptional. It was small but just crab and very tasty. The desserts were delicious. The flan and the brownie are a must try. I look forward to dining in.

Very cozy space. Staff were very attending. Intimate environment with great utilization of space. Had a few cocktails and light apps. All were to satisfaction. The pour was generous and the food was tasty and light. Glad I stopped in!

Early Valentines day dinner with the better half. Had crab cake appetizer, lobster bisque and an arugula salad to start. Everything was fresh and delish. Had surf n turf special for dinner. Filet mignon and lobster tail. Both were cooked properly and were very tender. Better half had the lamb chops and not a single 1 survived. Finished everything off with an apple strudel and vanilla ice cream. Must order with entrees as it is made fresh to order. We got there at 5:30pm just before the dinner crowd hit. It was romantic and the staff was friendly and attentive. Great to have a place like this in our community. Cheers

808 BeeStro Let me start by saying, while it’s a shame to rate a place considering nature, and bathroom amenities, yet, it all feeds the same well of total restaurant experience. 808 Bistro has a bee problem. What beegan as a fun joke, competing with yellow jackets for our meal, beecame an actual nuisance. We killed one and friends came to avenge. They were legitimately landing on the meal and eat it. Final points of demotion would be for the lack of adequate restroom accommodation. This area is experiencing a heat wave. Now it’s not 808’s job to control the weather. But, if you went there and they didn’t have AC much like if their heat wasn’t working in winter, you would be appalled. The bathroom has neither insulation nor ventilation. It is not hooked up to the heat or air conditioning. And during a heat wave this is not even an indoor bathroom. I’ve never been here in winter but it seems that the bathroom is more outhouse and less in house. The illuminated faucet however a nice touch. After that, the food was lovely. Lamb chop starter was delicious. Grilled calamari was out of this world. Skirt steak perfectly prepared. The risotto could use a recertification class. The bees enjoyed the meal almost as much as the humans. Back of house staff appears to beat front of house accommodation.

The food was great, but the service was awful from start to finish. We walked in and had to look around for someone to even seat us. Our waiter acted like we didn’t exist, probably because we looked younger than the rest of the crowd. He refused to show me the drink menu until I provided my ID—which I understand, I look young—but there’s a respectful way to go about it. After I showed it, he asked me my birthday in such a weird, guilt-tripping way, like he was trying to catch me lying. It made the whole experience uncomfortable. Great food, but the service completely ruined the night.

We came away disappointed with our meal at 808. We have been meaning to try this place for awhile and happened to be walking by on a Friday evening. The restaurant was pretty empty so we were able to be seated immediately. We ordered the bolognese, the short rib ravioli (daily special), and the eggplant stack as an appetizer. We were excited for the daily special because Burrata down in south Eastchester makes a similar short rib Agnolotti pasta that is amazing. But this one fell way short. The seasoning they used overpowered the pasta and the meat was close to mush. 2/5 The bolognese was okay flavor wise but nothing that would standout against other Italian restaurants. However, some of the pappardelle noodles seemed to have stuck together during cooking/prep which resulted in some portions of undercooked pasta. 2/5 The eggplant appetizer was the best thing we tried, but we expected a lot more for the price. It only had two slices of fried eggplant, we hoped for at least a few so it wasn't over in two bites. 3.5/5 Service was fine, albeit a little confusing since they used about 4 different people. Food came out quickly so no complaints there. They did mess up one of our drink orders. With the abundance of Italian restaurants in the area, hard to recommend coming to this place for the food. But the bar area did seem nice inside, so it could be a good place for happy hour.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The chef changed the dish from what was listed on the menu, replacing the sage in my butternut squash risotto with thyme—resulting in a completely different flavor and nothing like the description. When I complained, I was still charged half the price, even though I couldn’t eat it. Overall, a very disappointing and upsetting experience. I will not return and cannot recommend this restaurant.
