This is my favorite coffee spot in the area. The drinks are always perfect whether you get them hot or iced and they have a lot of different flavors & combinations compared to some of the other places that might only have 4 or 5 flavors to choose from. Their oatmeal raisen cookie was the best I've had in a long time. We always have a hard time deciding between the breakfast burritos (get the salsa) or the bagels. Their cream cheese varieties are so good and the bagels are warm and toasted but still so soft. Even when it's packed, they are still quick getting drinks out.

Great little spot for coffee & breakfast or lunch! Really happy to come here, they have a nice cozy spot at the start of Jay St, right across from Johnny’s. Perfect for a quick coffee or bite, or stay and relax and have a seat outside. I didn’t get the coffee this time but the breakfast sandwich was EXCELLENT and the bagel was delicious. Service was top notch, I really can’t wait to come back and try a latte!

Continuing my mission on finding great cold brew I ran to Buds On Jay and I'll easily be going back for a good cold brew fix when needed! I also had the Vegan Breakfast Burrito with Seitan and it has me excited to check out the rest of their menu. The location is very convenient and the service was quick & friendly. The place itself has a fun chill vibe and the pet items shelf sold me on wanting to support this local business, I'm ready for my next visit!

Fabulous little breakfast spot on jay street. I got a sausage and egg on a hardroll, all fresh food. Very good. My wife got the humpty dumpy which was eggs and avaxado and such.

Very good breakfast spot with excellent coffee. This place also sells artists works which is a neat concept. The staff is very friendly and their service is great. I highly recommend this place if you are near.

This is one cool place where you can sit at any given time and enjoy your food and a great atmosphere around you this was my second time going there with my body and we love Buds on Jay, definitely a place you must check out.

1st time trying this spot. Needed to get breakfast in the heart of downtown Schenectady and they were the ONLY restaurant open to serve in the Jay St. area(Very Reliable). If youre looking for a good breakfast, the Quality is worth the visit. World's best cup of coffee!

I look forward to grabbing lunch here when I'm in town for work. The sandwiches are tasty and feel relatively healthy without a lot of grease which can be hard to find in smaller cafes like this. There is a decent drink selection as well, and the seasonal flavors are fun! Indoor and outdoor seating. It's also located on the cutest little courtyard street with string lights and lots of things to do nearby. I haven't tried the breakfast menu but my coworkers have recommended that as well.

I had one allergic reaction awhile ago to one of there frozen drink because I didnt know they used a stabilizer that has coconut in it.(totally my fault not there's) I let them know when I went in again and they told me and now they make my frozen drinks with the stabilizer. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is calm and soothing. I would recommend Buds on Jay to anyone that asks for a great coffee shop.

Maybe 60-90 seconds passed when they screamed out “last call for Ben” as if they were going to toss my drink out if I didn’t run to the counter. When I went to pick it up, the entire counter was empty besides my drink and the barista gave me a snide look as if I had broken the law. They need to relax. They’re a cramped coffee shop in Schenectady, not a sought after hot spot in Manhattan.
