This is the wurst place in town! Everybody's friendly and they sing "Sweet Caroline, BA BA BA!"! UNBELIEVABLE! I'll definitely stop in sometime, damnit!
Best bartenders around, Great environment Want to stay connected come and see Malik.. he’ll never do you wrong, Great staff here at Schenectady ❤️
The best place to be on Monday nights for bingo! The bartender Taylor is a sweetheart and makes the best margaritas.
Absolutely love Biergarten. Such a vibe and fun friendly atmosphere. The energy was great and the daily events are enjoyable. Great bartenders and servers. I especially loved Malik. He had a bright smile and great energy. Poured my a great drink!
I come every week! The bartenders are amazing especially Malik!! Very attentive and he takes care of everyone here, while making sure everyone is safe! He’s the best
I had the best experience here our bartender Malik was so sweet and kind and checked in every so often to make sure we had drinks
Great place with the best staff who will take care of all your liquid diet needs. The fries and mozzarella sticks are so good.
This place is a must if you are in the 518 area. The food and atmosphere are top tier. The vibes are always on point and the manager Malik is always helpful and knowledgeable behind the bar. Check this place out!
What a fun spot! We visited this past Saturday, and since it was rainy, it wasn’t very busy. Our bartender was super sweet, and the white sangria was perfectly sweet and delicious—just how I like it. I also appreciated the unique beer selections that aren’t easily found elsewhere. The decor is so fun! It’s casual, but they added fun elements like a faux tree in the back and a large moose head up front. Lots of TVs make it easy to watch multiple games at once. They also have darts, shuffleboard, and it’s dog-friendly—woot! They also have a parking lot, which makes life easier. We didn’t eat here, so I can’t speak to the food, but if we lived locally, this would definitely be our home bar. Looking forward to returning soon!
Quirky, excellent bear grub and so much beer! Head straight to the bar, try a beer or order a mug. Place your food order and grab some peanuts. Chow on some peanuts or play some darts while your food cooks. And don't forget to get some wurst. It's the best wurst in town as they say. Really good fried pickles.
Awesome place to hang out with friends, get a beer and watch sports. Lots of tables with an open-like atmosphere. Not a huge menu but definitely great beer and good prices for the beer too. My beer came in a huge pitcher for only $10. Servers were also very friendly. They also allow dogs. In the summer they have a patio open. Parking available in front and back.
This bar restaurant is literally me in bar restaurant form. German in name, in Schenectady NY somehow, loves soccer college football and beer. It also clearly says UND WURST HAUS on the sign so they definitely have food and the wurst and wings are pretty good. Better wings than 20 North in my opinion since the sauce is lighter and the wings are crispier. If you don’t like the open air feel and peanut shells all over then you’re high maintenance.
Good selection of beer, wine, cocktails. Grateful they had a vegan brat, which was good. It got really loud (even outside) once the trivia game started. Good amount of seating inside and outside. Dog friendly.

First time visiting and the last. 6 people - meals ordered and paid in full. 3 meals came out and were eaten before the other 3 meals made it to the table. Upon getting up and walking out to the parking lot. The staff asked. The bouncer who was off duty to get us because we didn’t pay our bill for one of the Reuben’s. How embarrassing! I went in and advised I paid in full - order was still written on my phone. They said I only originally paid for 5 meals and just one Reuben. They printed out the original receipt for me when I questioned them. I paid for the 2!d Reuben and asked how I was supposed to know that they failed to charge me. The girl who brought the Reuben to you was supposed to tell you. Need to our table. Didn’t I notice that the Reuben came later? Well no, because 1/2 the meals came later Then they had another excuse that there was only one person in the kitchen. We were not told that there was another bill for us to pay. Wish I never gave the tip up front for the $83 bill. The staff was rude, snippy and unapologetic for their failure to charge us the first around. And not to mention the embarrassment of being chased down in the parking lot to inform us we didn’t pay. I wasn’t going to bother to write anything but thought that if I owned this business I would want to know how rudely my customer was treated.
Laziness resulted in awful lunch. Popped in for lunch, bartender was busy holding court with seemingly regulars. Eventually he took my order. Litre of Pilsner, bratwurst and poutine. Food arrived in less than 5min. Turned out one of the patrons at the bar was the cook. Who was in a rush to get back to the conversation. Barely luke warm brat, crushed into the roll. Curry ketchup was a nice condiment. Poutine, atrocious. Hot fries, no seasoning. Refrigerator cold cheese curds, and gravy still coagulated, chunky and room temp at best. Could’ve been a nice meal if serving proper food was a higher priority to the cook rather than hanging out. All the condiment caddies were missing one or more items all mismatched. Had to search out mustard from across the room. The bartender says “I just put them out” & the cook says “my staff is suppose to set them up”… have some pride and do it right.
Was there on the 25th at around 11pm, during that time the service at the bar was terrible, it took forever to order our drinks because we got ignored for the longest time. I could see one bartender stocking the fridge and deliberately ignoring me. We did not stay long at all afterwards.
Typically, I wouldn’t be so publicly vocal about how terrible an establishment is, but Wolff’s Schenectady has earned this. I live next door and have visited countless times over the past several years. Over this past year, some of the patrons have become the most unbearable, intolerable people I’ve seen. Around closing time, many of the severely inebriated people sit in the parking lot, revving their vehicles in some sort of strange ritual for 10, 15, 30 minutes at a time. This practically wakes up the entire building around between 12-2am in the morning. The apartment windows vibrate. December 20th was the worst so far this year. I’ve known two apartments that have moved specifically because of how obnoxious and rude Wolff’s patrons are. We’ve spoken to the city attorney. We’ve spoken to management. But it just keeps going. The fact that the owners or bar managers don’t stop these people from doing this is what makes it even worse. Even the bar’s bouncer is part of this bizarre, absurd behavior. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Wolff’s Biergarten and some of their patrons have a complete disregard for their neighbors. Loud music and loud people are one thing. It’s a bar. But the outwardly insufferable behavior, and the seeming approval of bar management, has turned this area into a cesspool and a stain on downtown Schenectady. Wolff's is a public menace.
