The Vault Uptown

The Vault Uptown in Sedona was an absolute delight! The food was delicious, fresh, and nicely presented, although we came in late and couldn’t enjoy any of the views. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, but busy given the holiday season. Staff was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Definitely will be coming back.

Its a great restaurant with a great view with outside seating. And great atmosphere. The View of the mountains was extraordinary . After the 2 hour drive we finally made it. One thing that was upsetting to all 5 of us was that we made reservations for my sons BIRTHDAY way ahead of time to specifically sit outside , eat ,and watch the football game 9/27/2025 and apparently the huge TV in front of our table had a broken screen for awhile apparently but we were not informed of this. For the amout of time and money and driving put into this day we were all disappointed that everyone inside the restaurant was able to watch the game and we could hear the cheering. Very disappointed as you should understand our side of things.

This was our second time to visit The Vault, and won’t be our last. When we are in Sedona it will be a must-stop. The steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned impeccably, and the best around! I had a steak the following night at Mariposa, and The Vault was undeniably the better steak! Service, both times, was excellent. Friendly and accommodating! Trash can nachos are a MUST!!

We eat Tomahawk Steak and brown butter cake. I strongly recommend this restaurant and this is my best steak I have ever eaten. But tomahawk steak We eat is not in menu board so you have to ask for it to server if it is left here. Anyway when we go into restaurant, there is no enough seet for our family so we see in high chair but they later change it to other seat. We come from South Korea and this restaurant is worth visiting again when we go there again

Great Food and views for dinner Can request to sit outside for reservation- being a jacket- depending on time of year They have overhead heaters and portable fires that help with heat. We got Filet, and NY Strip- both were delicious. Server was very kind and attentive!

Traveled to Sedona during Thanksgiving and absolutely loved their Tomahawk! It was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. I’m still thinking about it even after coming back to San Diego. Highly recommended!

I am not exaggerating when I say that the steak here was one of the best (just from the look of it alone) I had in a very long time. Tastewise it was also excellent. Better than many places in New York or Los Angeles. Good location and pretty fast service.

Everything was amazing. The food was sooo good and the service was more than what we expected. Our server gave us great recommendations and was also entertaining! Will definitely stop by again when in town.

Good foods with unbeatable view. Server was very attentive and nice. The calamari was very lighted coated and delicious, only hope the portion for it could be bigger, especially compared with the trash can nachos side by side. The lamb chop was phenomenal, big, tender and juicy. Also big shout out to the management that helped to mail my credit card back to me.

Nice outdoor seating area with views of the red rocks for afternoon or evening. The trashcan nachos were huge and quite the presentation! The nachos were filling enough that we split an entree. We ordered the seafood special for the evening which was delicious. Drinks were also very good. Fast and friendly service.

Amazing experience! One of the Best seafood restaurants in Sedona. Loved the Crispy Branzino sandwich and Blackened Salmon. Thank you!

This might be the best views I’ve ever had while dining. The trash can nachos were bomb and the drinks were on point. We sat at the bar and the service was great. I can’t to return back to Sedona someday for a longer stay, and will definitely make a point to stop by the Vault.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner watching the sunset from the beautiful patio overlooking the red rocks. Cocktails are fantastic here and recommend the Espresso Martini! Food was great, came out quick and timely. Service was stellar, water always filled.

This was a wonderful place to eat at and it was truly a beautiful view! 🤩We never got the chance to sit out on the Patio but that didn’t matter , because inside was nice as well. 👍However, we did get to see a lot of people there hanging out and just going about their lives.. enjoying the nice sunny weather. All in all, The server who served us was very nice 😊and professional. He was good at what he did.. he was very accommodating and gave us a nick name. “ Sir William”and “Lady Py”. 😂😁❤️If he reads this…I just want to thank you for a great time in Sedona. We both loved it and we recommend it to anyone who wants to find a good place to eat for the first time is to go and give it a try.

Delicious food, beautiful views and friendly staff. Definitely make your reservations. They get packed.

We were not sure what to think when we first walked in, our original server seemed annoyed that we were just going to order a round or drinks (to start). She ended up giving us to a different server. However that was the best thing that could have happened. We had Nathen as our server and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The drinks were good the food was great. And best of all the service was fantastic!

Had dinner on the patio, and it was fantastic. We had the burger and ahi sandwich. Both were excellent. Our server Nick was awesome. The view was amazing. The espresso martini is worth it!

Our server was exceptional… attentive without being overbearing, ensuring our experience was flawless from start to finish. I started with the espresso martini, which truly hit the spot and made the views even sweeter. The food quickly followed suit, with the spicy penne pasta, which was perfectly al dente and had just the right amount of heat to keep things exciting. My husband said the filet mignon was cooked to perfection and was tender, juicy, and full of flavor with every bite. This place is definitely a must-visit, but make sure to book a reservation ahead of time… it’s popular for a reason! Whether you're here for a special occasion or just want to enjoy a fantastic meal with a view, The Vault Uptown delivers an unforgettable dining experience. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Had the best birthday dinner (along with many others who also chose the Vault to celebrate)!! From the hostess to our waiter Carlos and the manager who circled around to make sure all was good, everyone was so nice and the food, view, and vibe were amazing. Highly recommend!! I got the lamb chops which were perfect 😋

We stopped in around 2:00 on a Thursday. It was busy but no wait. I do recommend reservations though. My husband ordered the turkey bacon club. It was a large sandwich. He said he enjoyed it. I ordered the smash burger, with cole slaw as my side. I'll say the burger was not as warm as it should have been. The slaw was a mayonnaise base but not creamy. My opinion it wasn't very good. The server replaced it with fries which are delicious. Highly recommend the fries. Service was great the view if you get a window seat or the patio are amazing.

We visited the Vault several times during our week stay in Sedona. It's a popular place and it can get very busy, but the staff is consistently up to the task. Everyone was professional courteous and efficient. We had several different items across the menu. The salads with grilled chicken were great. The Trashcan nachos are fabulous. The Prime Filet was prepared as ordered and delicious

This place was recommended to me by my awesome budtender at curaleaf. Let me tell you.. she did NOT steer us wrong. This place is incredible. The food is transcendental. I had the blackened salmon, and I was in pure bliss. So flavorful. So perfectly cooked. Was I elevated? Sure. BUT my un-elevated father got the same dish, and he completely cleaned his plate with enthusiasm. So, safe to say I'm not being mislead by my influence. We also ordered the brown butter cake (aka ooey gooey butter cake), and it was also fantastic. On top of it all, our server Cade (hope I spelled it right), was The Best. Great humor, so kind, and generous with detailed recommendations through the lens of a local (we are visiting from out of state). I loved that he shared his opinions with us. Funnily enough, we felt like we had to hunt the restaurant down-- definitely overcomplicating it due to not knowing the are-- but I would hunt it down a million times over for what we just had the pleasure of experiencing. It could be in the absolute middle of nowhere, and I would go find it. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I had the ribeye, and the wife had to filet. These were both very good steaks. But after trying a bite of her filet I wish I had ordered it instead of the ribeye. It was still very good, and we had absolutely stunning views of Snoopy Mountain. Martin was our server and he was perfect. He had great energy. We would definitely go back!

It’s a wonderful place where you can enjoy your meal with a beautiful view. When we visited, it was Thanksgiving, so it was extremely busy and crowded. We had to wait a little for a table, but one opened up fairly quickly, and we were able to dine on the terrace. The owner was passionate and worked hard to minimize any inconvenience for customers. The staff members were also very diligent. We ordered the tomahawk steak and requested medium rare, but it came out cooked somewhere between medium and well-done. The server apologized and explained that some parts were overcooked, though there were still portions closer to medium. We were a bit disappointed, but we understood the sincerity of the apology, so we simply said it was fine and ate it. The taste wasn’t bad. Overall, the trash nachos felt fresh, and the sauce was great. It’s definitely a place I would recommend.

Decently priced food with a lovely view. Keep in mind the patio can be a bit windy however they do have heaters available. The ceaser salad with blackened salmon was tasty, cauliflower flatbread had the perfect crust consistency topped with fresh veggies and the smash burger got rave reviews. Bartender accommodated the details of my paper plane cocktail to a t. Pleasant service.

The Vault has an amazing atmosphere, views and their drinks are top-notch. The beer selection was excellent and the cocktails were crafted perfectly definitely a highlight of the experience. That said, the food didn’t measure up to the drinks. The smash burger was overcooked, lacked seasoning, and overall just didn’t have much flavor. For a place with such great drinks, I was hoping the food would match the same quality. Still, if you’re looking for a great spot to grab a drink, The Vault is worth checking out!

We were in Sedona celebrating our anniversary. Trying to decide on which restaurant to go to for dinner was tough. We settled on the Vault. The food and atmosphere were really good, and the service top notch.

40oz Tomahawk Steak 🥩 and chimichurri sauce were good, maybe not worth the price tho $$$. Would recommend the Trash Can Nachos 🗑️

The views are absolutely amazing here. We had table on the patio that gave us the most beautiful scenery to enjoy with our dinner. The food was good but served a little cold. We really enjoyed our drinks as well. The heaters mixed with the cool night temps were a perfect combination. Great date night spot..

The view from the deck is the main feature here. Look up sunset hour and make a reservation 30 minutes beforehand. The red rock with the changing hues from the sunset makes for a beautiful show. Overall I gave the joint a 4, mostly for ambience. The food was somewhat underseasoned and some dishes fell flat, though others were great (especially the apps). The honey buffalo wings were a highlight. The wagyu burger looked great but needed better seasoning. The food was serviceable as long as you have good company and are in the mood to enjoy the view.

Amazing views at the outside seating area. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Food is OK. My friend ordered lamb but it’s too fat. The side veggies of buffalo wings has already dried and looks not fresh enough. I had blackened salmon which tastes fine but a lil bit too salty.

Had a 7:30 reservation and was seated within just a few minutes even though the restaurant was packed and many waiting outside. Service was great and meal was excellent! Btw the 4 of as we ordered the lamb chops, flat iron steak and pork chops, and we were all extremely satisfied with our meal! Highly recommend.

We had a reservation scheduled for 4:30 yet we still had to wait for about 20 minutes while we watched walk-ins being seated. We did have a group of 7 people, this is why we reserved 2 weeks before. The 2 hostesses were not that polite. The server was amazing he made the whole experience better for us. The food was good, great menu options and the drinks were unique and refreshing. This restaurant has wonderful views everywhere you look.

The food was good we took ours to go so that might have changed the experience. I would recommend but definitely not a top pick. The view is beautiful!!

Came in for a nice Friday date night and this placed checked (almost!) all the boxes. Great ambience, really nice outdoor patio with heaters, excellent attentive service. GREAT cocktails, we had an espresso martini and a Piggy Bank, which is their old fashioned. Both were delicious and perfectly balanced. For dinner, the steak sandwich was great. Really nicely cooked, flavorful steak. Half rack of ribs was really the only miss of the night. It wasn’t terrible, but pretty mediocre as far as ribs go. They didn’t really seem like they had been seasoned (or at least not much), no smokey/grilled flavor at all and the BBQ sauce was just slapped on the top as an afterthought (not painted/glazed during cooking like you’d expect when ordering ribs). The “jalapeño cornbread” was just cornbread - no jalapeño in sight. Overall, a great experience! Just was let down by the ribs, especially for the price point.

The service and the view were FANTASTIC! The food left a lot to be desired unfortunately. My partner and I went for Valentine’s Day. I’ll start by saying the Paloma mocktail was delish! I ordered the ribs and brussel sprouts. The sprouts were fantastic, the ribs were some of the worst I’ve ever had. The sauce was just poured on top, the ribs were dry and tough, almost like they had been fried the day before and reheated. No part of them pulled off the of bone. My boyfriend ordered the seafood bucatini, it wasn’t too bad according to him, but nothing worth $65. The dessert special had so much potential, it was a caramel and pecan brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some toasted marshmallow fluff. The only problem was that the brownie was COLD! A warm brownie would’ve made it fantastic, but instead, it just fell flat.

This was my second time here over the summer, and I was pretty disappointed with the experience this time around. The Trash Can Nachos were very good, but the rest of the meal was not worth the price you pay. The Filet was a bit tough and overcooked, garlic butter was overpowering and the only flavor you got from the steak. Asparagus and Mash potatoes were unremarkable either. Our server was fine, but we didn’t really see her much and when we needed to order something else we saw a group of on their phones. This place has stunning views and great appetizers but definitely not worth the prices and

Overpriced ribs and hamburgers service was horrible. Everything way too expensive. Location was beautiful. Are server that we had barely gave us any service? Whoa, the people next to us? Had a server who was very talkative, friendly and great. Oh, unfortunately, it was a bad experience for my girlfriend's birthday. People across from us had the server. Seeing them happy birthday but they totally forgot about my girlfriend and her birthday. I guess we didn't spend enough money at this place I would avoid going here if you want to have a good time. Go to a different restaurant. Maybe the pizza place across the street or the mexican restaurant.This place was just way too bougie
