What a fun breakfast experience! The waiter patiently explained that you first choose the type of bread you like, then the fillings. The rest of the sauces can all be selected at the counter to match your favorite flavors. The price is very reasonable!

Simple café but very nice for a typical and not expensive Spanish breakfast. You choose your bread and serve yourself with tomato, olive oil, jam, butter, etc. Then you can add some extras like avocado or ham.

Cheap, tasty and no frills option for breakfast. We were a little confused by the ordering process but the lady at counter was able to explain everything to us in perfect English. Loved the self-serve concept + everything was clean and tidy considering the large number of people that come through!

Best place in Sevilla for breakfast. Also they have many other option for later. You can select your items and breads for your breakfast. Pricing is very acceptable and relatively cheap. Staff is lovely and helpful also speak English. I highly recommend for breakfast.

Beautiful hidden gem of a breakfast place. My boyfriend still raves about this place, though we’ve been to so many cafés in Spain so far. The toast and toppings (you get to choose whatever you like) were generous, and the coffee was great. The staff were so friendly - and fluent in English. If I lived in Sevilla I’d be such a frequent customer!

Amazing breakfast place where you can customize what you want to have. Beautifully designed interior and one of the best terraces in Alameda. The staff is super friendly, and the self-service system truly works. Only issue is they don’t let you use devices. Not even tablets! I was going to read on my ipad and I was invited to stop by the waiter :(

Cafe Piola is a really nice place to have a breakfast and relax in the sun. The principle is great. You select a kind of bread you want. They will roast it for you. And the supplements like ham cheese etc. Then you have access to a list of free things like tomato puree or honey or olive oil to use with your bread. A really great place. I would definitely recommend to go for the ham and the cheese with their delicious orange juice.

Great breakfast here! Order your drinks and tostadas at the bar, and specify the bread type and the main ingredient (meat, cheese, avocado), and pay up front at the bar. Since we found this cafe we haven’t eaten breakfast anywhere else! Very friendly & obliging English speaking staff, service is quick, food lovely, coffee great & very reasonable

He parado para tomar un café y la experiencia ha sido muy agradable. Siempre que he pasado por allí y he visto comida y desayunos pensaba que era un buen sitio y el otro día lo confirmé. El café estaba muy bueno y fue barato. Las camareras fueron agradables. Es un sitio perfecto para cualquier momento del día. Tienen además de desayunos (tostadas), café y meriendas (tartas y bollería), vino, cerveza, cócteles, tapas… como he dicho, para cualquier momento del día. Tienen mesas en el interior, pero lo mejor es la terraza: muy amplia, con muchas mesas, sillas y sombrillas en plena Alameda. Tienen autoservicio, te sirven en la barra y limpian las mesas.

Otro bar para destacar: sus desayunos completos y la excelente atención de Andrew. Nos explicó de manera clara y muy amable la política del local de no ser work-friendly, detallando los motivos detrás de esta decisión. Su explicación fue tan acertada que consiguió ganarme como cliente. Sin embargo me opongo a esta política ya que una consumición de 10€ equivale a poder usar la mesa con o sin portátil. supongo que podrían mejorar explicando que para uso de mesa con portátil una x consumición mínima en vez de prohibirlo ni que fuera algo ilegal

My favorite place for a tostada breakfast in seville. It’s a no frills spot that has various bread & topping options, with many of them complimentary (tomate triturado, oil, butter, jam, Nutella, etc). It can be a cheap breakfast, but if you add a few toppings it adds up! The coffee is just okay, but the orange juice is fresh squeezed and amazing. They don’t have wifi and it’s certainly no frills, but I love the outdoor seating on a nice day

El lugar es agradable y la infusión que pedí estaba realmente buena, se nota que cuidan la calidad del producto. Sin embargo, mi experiencia no fue del todo positiva. Entré buscando un sitio tranquilo donde poder trabajar un rato con el portátil mientras tomaba algo, pero al servirme me informaron de que no podía usarlo. Entiendo que cada local tiene sus normas, pero me habría gustado que se indicara antes de pedir, ya que precisamente elegí este sitio pensando en eso. En resumen: ideal para disfrutar de una buena infusión y desconectar, pero no recomendable si necesitas trabajar o estudiar, aunque solo sea el tiempo de que se enfríe la taza.

Fuimos a desayunar el domingo pasado. Pedimos 2 tostadas y 2 cafés. Una de las tostadas era de aguacate, queso y miel y la otra de salmorejo y pavo. Las tostadas estaban bien y los cafés normales. Precio normal también para la zona que es, nos costó 8-9€ el desayuno.

Le pregunto a la camarera si tienen vasos mas grandes que los que hay en la barra para llevar y me dice que si muy segura, cuando recibo mi cafe es el mismo vaso que estaba en la barra, ademas de 3,5€

Suelo ir a este establecimiento en bastantes ocasiones, pero el otro día presenté un acto bastante desagradable. Invité a desayunar a un hombre mayor, la persona en cuestión no quería sentarse en la mesa para no molestar, insistí en que se sentase en una mesa (además estaba lloviendo y había poca gente en el establecimiento) Cuando consigo que se siente, la camarera me dice a mí y a mi amiga (alzando la voz) que nos llevemos a nuestro marrón, que no se permiten estas cosas en el bar. Nos quedamos a cuadros, sin entender nada, discutimos con la mujer acerca de las formas en las que trata a esta persona, y nos comenta que es una norma del bar. Nos dijo que si decidíamos pagarle el desayuno, no podíamos irnos si él no ha terminado. Le comentamos que teníamos que ir a trabajar y que es un señor que tiene pagado su comida, por lo cual es un cliente. Toda la conversación la escuchó el hombre. El hombre se fue sin darnos cuenta con su silla de ruedas y la camarera se fue tranquilamente. Nunca me ha ocurrido nada similar en este bar, pero me gustaría poner este comentario aquí por si alguien más presencia algo así y no quedarnos callados ante las injusticias.

El sitio es muy acogedor. El problema que le veo es que los baños son literalmente: 1) Un almacén lleno de suciedad y no me quiero imaginar qué más con un váter en un rincón. 2) Un cuarto diminuto con un váter en medio rodeado de más suciedad. No sé qué manía tienen los sitios de la Alameda con tener baños tan horribles.

Trato desagradable por parte de una de las camareras. 35 minutos después de ser servido me invitan directamente a irme para dejar la mesa libre para otros clientes habiendo varias mesas vacías. En el local no hay ningún cartel informativo del tiempo de estancia en las mesas, ni te informan al momento de pedir. Si tienen la regla de contar los minutos que estamos consumiendo, deberían hacerlo con todo el mundo, de lo contrario, se entiende que se trata de una medida arbitraria y discriminatoria. Por añadidura, observo que hay clientes que, en pareja y con una sola consumición, permanecen mucho más tiempo. Hay que resaltar la escasa limpieza del local, las mesas tienen tantas manchas de grasa que resulta muy arriesgado apoyar los brazos sin mancharte. No vuelvo a pisar más este local donde a los clientes se les trata tan despectivamente.
