I’m not sure how this place only got 4.3 stars but the other 4.3 stars restaurants I’ve been to are definitely not on the same level as this. Food was amazing. Sea food was fresh. Servers were all very friendly. I came in and basically told the server I had no idea how to order the food in Spain but he was very patient and tough me how the menu works

Tapas-style restaurant with great seafood dishes. The squid tasted fresh although the marinara was too sweet in my opinion. The fish of the day (seabass) with bilbiana sauce was really tasty, definitely the favourite. The homemade croquette (scarlet shrimp) was fresh and delicious. It is a nice restaurant and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It is a small restaurant so definitely recommend that you reserve a table.

This is my new favorite spot in Seville ! The service is amazing! Everyone is so sweet ! Love the food ! So fresh and innovative the chef is a genius ! A must visit to anyone who loves fresh seafood and fish! They also have tons of meat options . The fresh tuna toast is my fav & the clams! Also try the desserts !

My fiancé and I stumbled across this restaurant on our first night in Seville and we could not have been happier! It was really packed so we had to sit at a very small table, but the food was amazing! They started us off with some chicken pate with bread (delicious!). We ordered the cod fritters (not our favorite but was okay), the glazed chicken with white asparagus (amazing!), and the must-try fish of the day with truffled hollandaise and mashed potato! At the end, they gave us a small sample of their cherry wine. I don’t normally drink alcohol but I finished the whole thing!

One of the top food experiences ever, a unique modern take off on Tapas (let’s be honest, how many can you have, too repetitive..) modern twist with the highest quality ingredients, combinations out of this world from the Brioche with pulled pork and prawns to the russian salad, Anchovies screwer and the scallops which was one of the most prettiest dishes I’ve ever seen, the deserts were also unbelievable (cheese cake and flan). The service was wonderful kind and super fast, the kitchen is right in the middle and all the chefs operate it so peacefully (during peak times..) The only slightly not positive thing was the €20 grilled prawns which for me was a bit un proportionate for what you get, taste was amazing though, but I would take something else next time. Overall the type of dinner that gets you emotional.. bravo

Best food we've had over the days in Seville. Fresh fish, delicious oysters, pork and cheesecake! Scallop was very small for the price paid I'd say. Oyster was interesting with white sauce and very tasty!

Fried artichoke was unreal. Cheese and honey was just so smooth and tasty. Kids loved the fries and sauce. Wife loved the vegetarian dishes. It was also really quick service. Wonderful late lunch option!

This place is a must visit if you are into higher end/quality tapas. The restaurant decor has a modern French and Spanish feel to it. The open kitchen behind the bar makes you feel you are in the kitchen without actually being in it. The service was on point and dishes came out very timely. The highlight of this restaurant is the delicious cuisine. We ordered the tuna tartar with truffle sauce and it melts in your mouth. Then came the fried eggs with prawns and potatoes. Unbelievably delicious with so much rich flavor. Next was the chicken and white asparagus. It was good but I could skip it. Then came the fish of the day with a hollandaise type sauce. It was so moist and flaky and just absolutely yummy. Finally finished dinner with cheesecake. Cheesecake it was so creamy and light. Unlike American cheesecake. Next time I’m in severe, I will be back here again!

Sitio muy agradable y con una ubicación excelente. El servicio es correcto, aunque algo irregular según quién te atienda. La relación calidad-precio está bien equilibrada. Muy recomendable probar el Tiramisú Salado, un revuelto con apariencia de tiramisú, sorprendente, muy sabroso y con una presentación original. El arroz del día nos resultó un poco seco, pero quedó compensado con el postre. La tarta de queso templada es, sin duda, imprescindible.

Reservamos para dos personas para comer, cuando llegamos no estaba nuestra mesa lista y tuvimos que esperar en la barra un buen rato. El local es bonito, un poco gastado por el paso del tiempo, aún así es muy acogedor. La comida es buena pero algo cara para lo que ofrecen. Las gildas por 3,9€ la unidad es algo excesivo, la ensaladilla estaba muy buena, el brioche de marisco y bechamel tiene mucho sabor a mar, de principales pedimos chipirones a la parrilla con una salsa marinera y mayonesa de lima, es un plato muy gustoso, el arroz del día era con pescado, de lo mejor de la comida. De postre pedimos la mousse de chocolate con sorbete de mandarina, un postre redondo, con una textura mousse muy bien ejecutada. En general correcto, pero su precio es algo excesivo. El servicio algo lento y no muy amable, creo que hay otros restaurantes del grupo ovejas negras mejores.

Caro para lo que ofrecen. La chica que nos atendió lo mejor, amable y con una sonrisa siempre en la boca. La comida el precio muy alto. La tosta de atún por 7,50 deberían llamarla canapé de atún, y la calidad del atún dejaba que desear.

5 estrellas para el servicio (chica morena). Porciones pequeñas pero de calidad. El sitio bastante guay. Calidad precio buena. El baño estaba un poco sucio. Aconsejo este lugar.

Friendly and helpful staff. Most of food was delicious. The fish we ordered was not cooked in the middle and it was still cold. We thought the kitchen would take it back and send a new piece, but it just cook the uncooked part which was served earlier.

Year by year the place retains its mark. Most dishes were fantastic. However this time the croquetas were just acceptable - while before I use to order a second portion instead of dessert so good they were. The service has also moved from the top mark to less personal, pass-through experience.

Very good dinning experience in Castizo. It's an excellent place for seafood lover. They specialize in different types of fish and shellfish. You can spot the seafood bar once get into the restaurant - the seafood are fresh, and varieties are impressive given the side of the restaurant. The food overall is above the average. Apart from the seafood, there are other meat choices in the menu, roasted Iberia pork, steak also look yummy (from the other tables). The restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly. Service is attentive without being overbearing. You don't have to come in a big group of people as It's tapas size is good even for one. Recommended! I don't see a lot of tourist but better to reserve table as it's full even on Monday night.

La comida estuvo bien de calidad y de precio, el servicio no tanto, la camarera era amable pero nos sentimos muy presionadas desde nuestra llegada con la hora de cierre, ya que nos lo anduvo recordando constantemente, he de decir que nosotras salimos y quedaban varias mesas aún comiendo, se nos quitó las ganas de tomar postre y el sentir general del grupo fue negativo. Una lastima.

El sitio bonito y cuidado pero no me ha gustado que hacía frío, me ha resultado incómodo comer con frío, no volvería en invierno. En cuanto a la comida, platos muy originales y una carta muy amplia. Precio elevado para algunos platos. La tortilla de patatas a la carbonara y los buñuelos de bacalao excepcionales, nos han sorprendido mucho. La berenjena estaba buena. Las croquetas algo densas y las pedimos esperando que fuesen de carne pero eran de marisco. La presa una decepción, demasiado pequeño para ser 24€, era casi todo pan. De postre pedimos tarta de queso que no me pareció de las mejores y mousse de chocolate que era demasiado líquido para mi gusto. Un detalle el aperitivo de paté de pollo con mermelada de tomate al llegar y el pan recién horneado que servían. El servicio muy rápido y atento.

Hoy nos tocó comer en en este restaurante, pertenece a la familia de Ovejas Negras. Comimos muy bien , eso si me parece excesivo los precios que tienen todos sus restaurantes. Comida buena pero no para esos precios. Pudimos reservar sin problema. Local muy pequeño.

Venía aquí hace unos años y me encantaba. Decidí repetir con mis amigos hoy, pero la decepción ha sido mayúscula. Precios desorbitados con platos que más bien parecen tapas. Pedimos arroz de lubina, bastante insulso a la vez que lo que en un bar normal lo consideran tapa del día, aquí lo cobran a 14 euros. De carne para terminar pedimos presa, que en su favor decir que estaba muy buena, pero pagar 24 euros por plato cuando más bien parecen una tapa, dista mucho de la calidad/precio que tenía en antaño. Una pena, pero por supuesto, esto ya es más para gente ajena a esta ciudad que para los locales.

Hemos comido en este restaurante hoy 5 de noviembre dos personas, hemos entrado por que el ambiente y local parecia muy bueno, y asi era. Con esa parte estamo super contentos, pero lo ocurrido es lo siguiente, uno de los platos, el de chipirones, tenia bichos saltando en la comida. Cuando hemos notificado a la camarera, una chica rubia, joven con una trenza, se a llevado el plato pidiendo disculpas. Cuando estos indicentes pasan, esperamos un detalle como invitar al menos a una cerveza de 2.5, o el pan de 1.8. Cuando nos hemos acercado a preguntar por la encargada, despues de pagar la cuenta, para notificar este descontento, ella parecia no saber sobre lo ocurrido. Por ultimo, añadir que al mismo tiempo que nos a servido a nosotras la ración, la misma ración a sido servida en dos mesas distintas... la camarera se a dado cuenta, a mirado a las demas mesas, y no a dicho absolutamente nada, dejando a 4 personas mas comerse la ración con sus bichitos saltando.

Hemos reservado para tener un una comida "en condiciones" y nos han echado sin poder tomar postres porque tenían una reserva a las 15h (no nos habían avisado). Si hemos pedido diferentes platos y carnes a la brasa es imposible que comamos en una hora. Hemos tenido que comer corriendo las carnes de segundo y prácticamente no hemos disfrutado la comida. Es una cuenta de 200€, que digo yo que podrían habernos dejado tomar postre. Los pobres camareros están estresados porque no paran de presionarles. Una pena. He estado muchas veces y no vuelvo. Sat under airco vent next to kitchen. Food was flat and uninspired. Did not feel welcome or wanted. Glad did not make reservation worst food I’ve had in Spain in 3 weeks. Cancelled the fish and left. Pretty bad white wine after tasting 2. What felt like frozen old from yesterday eggplant appetizer. One sad lone scallop amid a sea of semi warm cream w a smattering of caviar. It looked weird alone on a plate, not nice presentation. The best was the free pate w the toast points you can get at any store. Totally disappointing.
