Valley Grounds Coffee

I'm an iced americano girl, but I tried their grounds valley latte and honey latte. I asked for a little less sweet and loved it! I also really loved the valley grounds latte, it was really subtle and yummy, and never had anything like it! I of course tried americano also and it was great.

Finally I got to tried it.. and I loved it.. I loved the place, the food, and the waiter was really nice.

I went to the soft opening and it is breathtaking inside! Beautiful decor wonderful staff and the maple latte with cold foam was perfect! Highly recommend for a cute spot to hang out or just to grab a good coffee !

This coffee shop is so cute I couldn’t help but walk in. Best decision to start my day. The atmosphere is so enjoyable and the staff member was so welcoming. My mocha had a perfect balance of flavors. Cannot wait to return to try the pastries!

Such a sexy boss girl vibe and has the cutest and extremely comfy seating. I got a strawberry matcha and on request she made the cold foam with strawberry too! I noticed power outlets for working space, I’ll be back with a laptop. 10/10 in every way.

Stumbled across this shop while thrifting and I was pleasantly surprised! I’m not really a matcha fan, but the strawberry purée in the iced Mama Match is soo good! Instantly became one of my favorite drinks. The decor is fun and cute and staff was welcoming and friendly. I’ll definitely be back!

Decided to check this place out because my wife and I were craving a latte. I got the rose latte with oat milk and it was delicious! We also got the homemade brown sugar and pumpkin pastries they had and they were SO good and flaky. I usually don’t like rose lattes because they taste syrupy or too sweet but this one was so enjoyable and perfect! The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. I accidentally spilled my wife’s drink all over the table while trying to put the lid on it and one of the baristas helped me clean it up and was so kind about it while also replacing the spilled drink. We can’t wait to go back to try the other lattes :)

If you’re in the valley looking to sit and enjoy yummy coffee - this is the place! Valley grounds has an amazing selection of coffee, tea, drinks and pastries. The brown sugar latte and strawberry matcha is so good! There’s a great vibe, both inside the shop and outside on Ventura! Can’t wait to come back for more coffee!

I was looking for a coffee shop I can do a little work and enjoy coffee. Stumbled across this shop via Google search. It seemed trendy and the drinks aesthetics of the drinks head me intrigued. I come and chatted with lady at the counter. I’m not a big coffee drinker but I want to figure out what I like. We talked about what I normally get and Starbucks and she right away shared items that may be of interest after a few questions. I settled on the “Honey, have a good day” and I may just be addicted lol. But I’m going to try other one she mentioned next time for sure. 100/10.

The coffee is really good here. I’m an iced espresso drinker, no milk. So I’m a bit picky, though I’ll try any place once. I’ll be going back here, gladly. The espresso was thoughtfully selected from an artisan roaster (I believe Long Beach based) and they poured the shots perfectly. There’s a pleasant citrus finish with a naturally sweet, toasty, chocolaty balance behind it. The aroma and flavor are an ideal medium - no smell of smoke but aromatic. The interior is very beautifully designed with nice comfy chairs - I can tell someone poured love into this place. We’re looking forward to coming back since we’ve been waiting over a year for the opening when we first moved into the neighborhood haha. Now we have another phenomenal spot to add to our rotation!

The cutest place with yummy drinks. I want to sit all day and do my work because it’s just so cute!! Plus the owner is a hard working mama who built her business herself and was hands on giving quality service! Totally 5 stars and will be back. The names or the drinks are cute too! I’m a tea drinker so they had matcha and chai my faves!! The chai was so good I drank it so fast I forgot to take a pic haha!!

The woman working the register was so sweet. I dropped my pop tart the moment she gave it to me and she immediately heated up a new one for me 🥺 also the collagen matcha is delicious. I love all the pink lids and hearts - cute vibes!!! 💖

All my favorite cafes are in the valley, so I was ecstatic to go to the grand opening of this new location. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of my drink (a 16 oz honey latte + lavender and oat milk served hot) because it just tasted like oat milk with a hint of coffee and almost unrecognizable lavendar. The chocolate croissant was almost a brick from how cold and dense it was. I tasted my friend's drink, which was the same thing but cold, and it was good! So cold drinks may be the way to go for their menu. And it would have been nice to have had the pastry warmed up. Who I assume to be the owner did ask a couple times how things were, but I was too afraid to tell the truth on their big day. Had I said something, maybe they would have fixed a new drink for me. I will be back in the future to retry the experience and I can then adjust this review. Perhaps, because they just opened, they just have a few things to learn and work out - which is completely normal! A big plus I would say is that they have plenty of plug outlets to accommodate people working on laptops, are pet friendly, and a bathroom was available to customers. I would return for those reasons.
