My visit to Mi Pueblo was during lunch, I was greeted and was seated quickly and I ordered off the lunch menu and food was brought pretty quick and it was awesome. it's awesome that they are able to get your food out very quickly due to the lunch hour and like myself a lot of folks don't have a lot of time

Always a pleasure to eat Tex- Mex here. I have the beef enchiladas with red sauce and of course, rice and beans. She had the tamales. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. About $15 per person, so average price.

Food is delicious. Can be busy at lunch but once seated our food is served fast. Server's are friendly, generally knowledgeable on food and well groomed. Has a lunch menu that has a good variety to select quick lunches from during the week.

I made a post several months ago with a complaint! Management listened and even improved a few things. My wife and I ordered fajitas for two...they were spot on. Meat was tender and juicy like steak should be. Everything was great down to the free chips...crispy and fresh. Manager even made it by most tables (ours included) to ensure food was great and that we were satisfied. Glad this tex mex has went back to basics...good food, great service...will return many times. Keep up good work!!!

Great food, good friendly service. Gets very busy for lunch and dinner hours. Management does a great job job hiring our local youth and giving them an opportunity to work and earn money. They have more employees working at any given time than all of our area restaurants.

As someone who doesn't even really like Mexican food, this is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Great food, with friendly and fast service! Family friendly as well, but this also means they don't serve any alcoholic beverages. I would also like to give a shout out to the great salsa and chips here too!

So when i went here it was after a high school graduation. I don't think they knew the graduation was happening because it was a different high school using the local schools auditorium. They got slammed. I've worked in restaurants and this looked brutal. I saw employees showing up to help an hour before close while we were waiting for tables. 5 starts for not turning anyone away and battling it out like pros. The food was ok.

I order the same thing every time I go. It is always good and I'm full as a tick when I leave. Never have I had to wait for my glass to be filled. Great service and good food.

I recently had dinner with my daughter at MiPueblo Mexican Restaurant, and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a family outing. We started with fresh salsa and chips, which were delicious. My daughter had the cheese enchiladas, and I had the MiPueblo dinner—both were flavorful and generously portioned. The service was excellent; our waiter was friendly and attentive. Despite the busy evening, our food arrived quickly. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value. Overall, MiPueblo provided a memorable dining experience with great food and excellent service. We will definitely be back!

Always have a good experience when I go here which is every week. Brie and Karla always take good care of me. The food is fast and I have never had an issue unlike some other restaurants. Thank you Brie and Karla. Also Dora at the Lumberton location does a great job and always has a smile.

Had lunch here and they were pretty busy but we were seated right away. The waitress was attentive and checked on us bringing drink refills without having to ask. The food was very good and hot when delivered. Good price for the food we got.

I believe my waitress was Segovia. She was very helpful. Well knowledgeable on the menu and specials. She made me feel right at home and catered to us exceptionally! Only wish my wife would have let me leave a bigger Tip!

This waitress was friendly. Service rating would be 9/10. Food was good. I had the fajita nachos with sides of beans and rice, that wasn't included with fajitas nachos, it was ordered separately. The fajita nachos where an appetizer not a meal. It's your casual Tex-Mex menu items. It was good overall. The only thing that didn't appeal to me was the paper straws. That's just a 'me thing'. LOL. My second-time experience was good. Will come back again.

Our server and food was great. Went on a Sunday for lunch and there was a large number of people there. We didn’t have to wait for a table and our food was delivered quickly despite being very busy.

I like going to Mi Pueblo. The food is always good. The service is always excellent. The restaurant is keep very clean. The bathrooms are also keep very clean. I like that the manager on duty makes sure to come by the table and check on you. I've worked in the restaurant industry and they impress me every time.

I am an extremely picky eater and can't stand the texture of veggies, and my burrito had plenty. However, the veggies were so well cooked, the only way I could tell they were there was visually and the combined taste. It was a very pleasant meal. Amazing service as well, our waiter kept up updated on our food.

Came here with a group of 12 people. The service was great and the food excellent. The prices were reasonable. I had the Fiesta dinner and chose double beans instead of rice and beans. The chips and salsa were excellent. They gave each person their own salsa bowl which was a nice touch.

The red salsa was good but for those who like spice try their green salsa. However salsa isn't the best way to judge a restaurant. Their cheese enchiladas were very bland. Their cheese dip was very good.

Other than a small wait in line for a free table because half of the tables was not being used due to social distancing, my first visit here was great. There are a lot of good things to be said. Great service. Food comes out fast. Clean, the list could go on and on, but it's not spectacular. The food tastes just like it should, but it's unremarkable. I prefer to have my taste buds impressed at least a little. Beware of the green sauce... I think they just blend jalapenos and send them out.

Okay! I love this place, I really do, but last night was disappointing. I had my kiddos with me (5 and 10 months). I asked for sliced avocado for them to share, totally prepared for a charge comparable to other Mexican restaurants ($1-2.99ish) but instead I was charged $5.98, the cost of guacamole! She said it was due to the loss of the avocado. . . I get it, but that’s not the cost of an avocado from ANYWHERE:( . . . When I buy guacamole, you’re using cilantro, jalapeño, tomato, garlic, lemon, seasoning, etc. that’s what your paying for. . . I git avocado! Further, you offer a senior and a law enforcement discount, but no military discount? That was a little disappointing as well. I will eat there again, but I will bring my own avocado next time.

Food has gone down since they closed and reopened. We have eaten here for years and see a big difference in the food. Was there tonight with family and the bald headed man that was the host was extremely rude to my husband and I. If we weren't meeting family I would have left. It was all over a table. He needs an attitude adjustment for certain. Not sure we will go back. The owner certainly needs to address this. He will definitely run business away.

Taco salad drenched in grease from the beef. I even noticed the checkout screen and my receipt saying Drain drain drain. Drain the meat. The other meals were fine. So please drain the meat, no one wants a greasy soggy taco sald. Food prices are reasonable, the service was decent.

Had the chicken fajitas ( lunch size ) should be called kids size. They were good reason for the 3 ⭐. Service was super slow girl was pregnant and just finished training so okay. There was a kid on the booth next door doing everything under the sun to get attention and apparently the mother was too busy or blind to it she just ignored him. Cashier was RUDE didn't bother to ask how was everything or nothing just rang the ticket up and put receipt on counter didn't bother to say Thank you come back soon or nothing. Don't worry we won't be back I am sure the owners make plenty of money and can afford the poor service all around.

It was edible. It wasn't good but it wasn't awful. Don't get the "nachos" because it doesn't come on chips. They put it on tortillas. I had the cheese enchiladas.... They just put cold cheese in a cold tortillas and then cover it with hot enchilada sauce. So only the outside is hot. The inside is still cold and unmelted. No flavor. No spices. Had about as much flavor as cardboard. Staff were super nice and attentive. The food does come out super fast, unfortunately it's because not everything is cooked. So that sucks. I guess if you had no other options, then I would recommend going here. Please avoid going here. Oh and the decor is cool, so there is that.

In town visiting family, placed order, once arrived to pick up, price is different. No manager, they charged my cc and know one to refund, spoke with Silsbee manager who said he tried to call GM who was working from home. How do you work from home and manage a restaurant. I guess this is why the place was dirty and staff playing, texting. 4 days later I finally had to call my cc company to dispute charge. I have left messages for manager still no return calls. Please take your business elsewhere!

Normally I have no complaints but today I left mad. We were seated and given chips and salsa and was told someone would be over to take our order. 25 minutes later, we had finished our chips and still didn't have drinks nore was the order ever taken. There were people sitting around us and a server walked by several times. We watched a table kitty corner to us be seated, get a drinks and get their food order taken as well as people sitting across from us get to go drinks and to go queso. All the while my husband, daughter and I were still sitting there unattended. After trying to flag down a waiter and still getting ignored, we walked out. It wasnt like we were sitting in some easy to overlook corner so I don't understand how we got overlook for so long. Never been more unsatisfied.

Normally this is our go to place. Always loved the food and prices. We have celebrated birthdays there before and it was always a great experience. But today we took our 9 yr old there for her birthday...snuck a cake in without her seeing it and secretly asked the waitress to sing Happy birthday to her....at the end of our meal they brought the cake and several workers stood about to sing to her and the manager shut it down...said it would disturb the others in the restaurant. When I confronted the manager she shrugged her shoulders and acted like it was no big deal that us and the wait staff were embarrassed they weren't allowed to sing. It really was such a ugly rude thing to do on a kids birthday and we won't go back again. Nor will I recommend anyone else going.

Incident September 8, 2021. This place has roaches. Our to go platter’s rice had a roach cooked into it. We were offered a refund only to have to bring all the food back which would’ve been trashed. My family is recovering from covid we had to come into the facility to sign for it since my child is the one who picked up had to drive back two towns over even told them we were recovering from covid but the owner said sorry we had to sign off. They went through the containers, the very food we returned I said the bug is still in the rice. No gloves. Disappointed the manager had to go through our partially eaten food to prove it wasn’t edible. They kept their full 15% tip too that was supposed to be gratitude and appreciation considering their dining was closed. I’ve never been more disappointed. Oh and they’re “remodeling” immediately following my rating and complaint.

Service was good and the waitress was friendly but I could one give one star based on food quality and management. Hubby ordered Carne Guisada and when it arrived it only had 4 small bite size pieces of meat, the rest was all potatoes and sauce. He explained he couldn't see paying $12 for 4 bites of meat. The waitress apologized, took it back and offered something else, to which he declined. He ended up eating some of my dinner and the 7 layer appetizer dip we had ordered (which was very good). Though the manager stood at the back of the restaurant he never once came to our table to even try to rectify the situation. I'm my opinion, it was his job not the waitress. You win some you lose some, but we won't return.

I ordered a to go order and it was wrong. I called to see if they could do anything and she said because I didn't check it before I left the restaurant, that it's my fault. Well, if the order was right to begin with, I wouldn't have to check. So I think it's the restaurants fault. They must not care about customer service at all.

The food was excellent. The restaurant was clean. Service was way above average, until we exited the restaurant and the cashier chased out to the parking lot asking if we'd paid, my husband had paid the ticket not 3 minutes prior to the same cashier who wanted to see our receipt. This was at closing so there were only a handful of diners. I might could understand this if the place was busy. Sorry Mi Pueblo your employee didn't even apologize. When I confronted her about that she shut the door and took off.

The place was very clean. The waitress we had last night kept messing up orders, orders a lemonade but received a coke twice. The only thing that has a good flavor was the bean soup. Could get a little more food for the price and better service. Waited 30mins for the check and when received it, she had it crumpled up in a ball . Definitely didn't leave her a tip. If she doesn't want to work there she should find a different job. And learn to speak up girl..

I’m not a complainer about restaurants. Not on social media anyways. And I am pretty picky about where I ate, not a big fan of Mi Pueblo in silsbee or lumberton. I like more of the authentic Mexican food. Not TexMex. But it is right down the road from my work so it’s convenient. Last week I got a botanos platter. Didn’t get my flautos on my plate. And today…..I asked for fajita flameado and there was NO QUESO on it. Called and was told everything is measured. And they put 4oz of queso! Literally there was not even 1/2 TSP OF QUESO UNDER THE 1/4 inch of shredded cheese, grease, and lack of meat. I ate it but that was the worst version of a flameado that I’ve ever seen. On the menu it starts with the description of the item as a DEEP DISH! There was nothing that was deep about that plate. I’ll drive to Lumberton for Mexican food on my lunch. If I could’ve just messaged the manager I would have. My co-worker and I both ordered the same dish. Same situation with both dishes.
