Wow! This was beyond our expectations. We had read the atmosphere was great for a date, which was.. with live music. And the food was beyond.. Sizes for entres are pretty big. Flavor is like… I wanted to start over and eat again. They were really cool to make a hot sauce for us in the moment. Service really was outstanding; Cody was our waiter and he definitely had a flow. And Jay, who later on we were told is the owner, is the one who sits your table, has the best smile and really makes your time here the best. Recommendations: Wild Boar Osso Buco Lamb Bourguignon Apple crumble upside down cake These three options honestly honestly top favorite in Colorado. Thank you for a wonderful dinner, Bistro North. Bistro North was phenomenal and the service was speedy and professional. We walked in with a group of 17 and surprisingly they were able to squeeze us in quickly. I got the Bao Buns ($18) as an appetizer and it was tender and flavorful. The show stopper was definitely the Lamb Bourguignon Pappardelle ($35). The lamb was extraordinaryly tender and the hand made pasta was cooked perfectly. My friends got the Scottish Salmon and was very pleased. She said "she'll dream about it" because she loved it so much. Another friend got the Kung Pao Cauliflower and was able to try a bite. It was lightly battered with incredible flavor and a light crisp. The entire table had a lovely experience and no one expressed any qualms with the food. Highly recommend this restaurant!

My wife and I came to bistro north for our wedding dinner and it was an excellent experience! Cody provided exceptional customer service. He made sure we always had water and provided great recommendations for drinks and food. The drinks were excellent and so tasty while not tasting strongly in a bad way. The food was delectable and each dish we got was so good. The salmon was cooked perfect and the spaghettini was also so good. Their pastry chef also made an incredible s’mores dessert that was the perfect sweat treat without being too heavy of a dessert.

Staff were extremely friendly, food was awesome! I ordered a mint tea which was really satisfying. Tea was locally sourced. Shared a limencello with my wife. It was more sweet than tart, which was nice. I ordered the beef au jus. The beef was neither overcooked nor raw. It was extremely tender and flavorful. The consistency of the beef was like Korean Beef Bulgogi. My wife ordered a falafel sandwich, which looked and tasted homemade. It was also well-made. Overall, we definitely plan on returning. 🥳🎉🎉 Thank you Bistro North!

Outstanding New Year's Eve Dinner Experience! We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Bistro North - Dillon on New Year's Eve while vacationing in Breckenridge, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We are visiting from Miami, and this restaurant exceeded all our expectations. The food was amazing beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with great care and quality ingredients. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. A very special mention goes to our server, Tiana, who was truly exceptional. She was friendly, warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. Her positive attitude and genuine kindness made our New Year's Eve dinner feel even more special. She made us feel welcomed and well taken care of from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for celebrating such a special night. If you're in Dillon or nearby (even if you're staying in Breckenridge), this restaurant is absolutely worth the drive. We highly recommend Bistro North and will definitely return the next time we're in the area!

While the food was excellent, Shane’s service was outstanding ! Our view was breathtaking ! Somehow they knew it was my birthday , and there was a very sweet birthday card waiting for me at the table , signed by the staff . Such a surprise !! The cocktails were delish ! Highly recommend Bistro North!

My husband and I went here for our one year wedding anniversary. We were presented with a happy anniversary card that was handwritten and signed by the staff. I had the escargot and the beef wellington, both were excellent! My husband had the cauliflower steak and the elote dip and he loved it. He tried some of my mashed potatoes and said it was the best he ever had!!! Highly recommend

The food here was incredible but the service was what I will remember the most. Came here for a birthday dinner and our server Jolene went above and beyond to make it a great experience for us. She was also super knowledgeable about the menu. All the other staff were so nice as well. 10/10 would recommend

We came for the sunny patio and view and sat outside during happy hour in late August, ordered two local hazy ipas, Fried Calamari, and some hot chicken sliders. The service was great - super friendly and patient answering questions about the menu. The portions were super generous - we were stuffed! The Calamari and zucchini was perfectly cooked, lightly battered and crunchy yet still tender. The sliders were also crunchy with the perfect amount of sauce and slaw. Would highly recommend!

If I could rate over 5 stars I would! Cody was such a knowledgeable waiter in regards to details about the food, dessert and drink menu! Stellar experience with him! We got the Scottish salmon and the Spaghettini and ordered the side of scallops. Everything was 10/10 flavor! We also got the apple upside down cake which was phenomenal! We will be back when in town again!

Ok, you're gonna love this place! Here now for late lunch/early Happy Hour. Appetizers and main menu items clearly marked as GF/V/NGF. Having Cauliflower steak with the salmon protein added, calimari, and the roasted half-chicken. Note: the mole' sauce on the roasted chicken dish takes the chef 12 hours for the seasonings to settle. It is a real treat and sophisticated taste that is complex at first, melts, then finishes with a slight heat on the back. Amazing - one of our friends is an amatuer cook and said her 1/2 roasted chicken dish is under-rated - delicious!! Live music, appetizers (shrimp and veggies), excellent beers on tap, and iced tea. Plenty of parking, across the parking lot from City Market and fuel(s) for your car/truck/rig.

The food here is truly the best in this whole area. Do yourself a favor and try the bison short ribs. There’s nothing better on this planet much less than Keystone. The atmosphere is kind of off though. The decor is OK but the location overlooks a busy highway, so the patio is very loud. There’s just nothing special about the atmosphere which is really weird because the food is spectacular.

We had our wedding dinner reception here and it was a great experience. Jay, the owner, was great at answering all our questions. The service was excellent and the food delicious. They were mindful of allergies and let us take entree leftovers home with us.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The waitress was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was delicious, and the wine pairing was spot on, enhancing the flavors perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and food. Highly recommend. The menu was amazing and Alex our server did an awesome job at taking care of us for my 40th birthday lunch celebration. The non alcoholic beverages selection was delicious. I am still craving the brussels sprouts several days later. Beautiful restaurant.

A Culinary Gem in Dillon! Bistro North is a breath of fresh air for Dillon’s dining scene. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the creative energy that flows from the kitchen to the table. The menu stands out for its creativity and diversity, boldly stepping away from the traditional offerings you typically find in the area. Each dish feels like a well-thought-out composition — flavors layered with purpose, ingredients treated with respect, and presentations that show both artistry and confidence. The execution is flawless, with every plate arriving at the perfect temperature, textures in harmony, and seasoning dialed in just right. The flavors here are nothing short of outstanding — vibrant, balanced, and memorable. It’s the kind of place where you want to order something you’ve never tried before, simply because you trust the chef’s vision. Chapeau to the chef and the entire staff for delivering a dining experience that’s worth every mile to get here. Dillon is lucky to have such a spot, and I’ll be returning again and again.

This place is beyond five stars. 🌟 The food, service, and special touches they added for my husband’s birthday was beyond anything I could have ever asked for. The salmon risotto was the best thing I’ve had in a very long time. My husband loved the short rib. And we enjoyed unreal martinis! Thank you so much for the love and attention you put into this special evening for us - we’ll never forget it!!!! 💗💗💗💗

This place was an incredible experience I wish we would have found it earlier in our trip to colorado. The staff is Sensational the Ambiance is magical and the food was incredible. We were first greeted by Jessica who was an amazing team member. You are awesome. She's the kind of person that you would like to have working for you. Thank you we had the pleasure of having Aaron serve us and he was a delight as well he was knowledgeable about the menu and offered his personal opinion as well as crowd favorites for menu items including drinks. This place is a spot you can't miss while visiting colorado. So thankful to have enjoyed this experience. Y'all are awesome!

I had an amazing birthday dinner at Bistro North last night. When we arrived at our table there was a birthday card signed by the staff on the table. It was such a nice gesture. I've had birthday dinners at nice restaurants before, but I have never received a card. It really set the tone for a wonderful dinner. The food was very good- our table had beef Wellington, halibut, steak salad, hamburger, and truffle fries. All were delicious and the server was attentive and very kind. We will return and highly recommend!

Delish! We were in town for a target run and stopped into the bistro north in the early afternoon. To our surprise we arrived in time for happy hour and were blessed with 2 for 1 appetizers. Every dish was made with thought and had unique flavors from various cultures and cuisines. The service was phenomenal and we plan to be back the next time in town.

Glad we finally visited here on this last trip few weeks ago. Greeter, bartender, server everyone was friendly and welcoming. Ordered tomato basil soup with focaccia and liked the focaccia, soup was ok. Roasted marrow with chimichurri was not bad, took it home for the "Doge" but thought the Filet Mignon Shumai was great, the gorgonzola with chili butter complimented the beef with crispy shell and got my attention. Worth ordering again. Will return again.

Perfect spot for upscale dinner! Came here for anniversary dinner - there was a handwritten card at the table for us and complimentary champagne toast - very nice touch! The grilled calamari was unique and delicious with the jicama slaw. Loved the bison short rib and my wife enjoyed the halibut. The drinks were on point: the tequila with passionfruit and beet was not too sweet and well balanced. Would definitely come back here again!

Service was great, food was spot on, and the gentleman playing the live music was phenomenal. If you are visiting and looking for a place to get great food, look no further. The beef wellington was cooked to perfection, and my buddy got the bison short ribs that were delicious (both said to be locally sourced). The atmosphere was laid back, while a classy presentation rounded out a really nice experience while we are visiting Dillon. Will be back.

My BFF booked us in for my birthday dinner. We are both gluten free, so we started with the Grilled Calamari, Smoked Gouda Polenta, then the Sakura Farms Pork Chop and Beef Wellington (made gluten free) - a very tasty tenderloin indeed. The meal was exceptional, and the service impeccable, by all staff. A Special thank you to our wonderful waitress Brittany, who was knowledgable, and gave us several options on the food and wine pairing, without being pushy. This is a very well run business, and kudos to you all for taking great pride in what you do, and for working as an efficient team.

We made a reservation here for our post elopement for 13 people total and it was the absolute best decision. They catered to our entire party, boxed our food, brought out our cake and placed it on a separate table (then boxed the rest after our cake cutting). Our reservation was at 7:30 on a Friday night and not even half way through our meal, the restaurant seemed cleared out, almost like we rented the entire restaurant. The food/ atmosphere was amazing; we'll definitely be back. On our way out everyone at the bar congratulated us. 100/10 recommend. The elk steak & cauliflower puree soup was so good!

We came in for a date night while visiting town. The filet shumai appetizer was amazing. Probably the best thing we ate all night. My wife tried the scallop special, it was amazing. I had the sausage and shrimp pasta. This was the only misstep of the night. The sausage was burnt just barely and ruined the whole dish. Otherwise a fantastic meal.

Delicious food, lots of gluten-free options, beautiful decor, and perfect service add up to a fabulous dining experience. The grilled calamari was a revelation - so tender. The salmon and risotto dish was so delicious! Noise level was just right.

We've been coming to this area for several years and looking for a nice place, we this area is starting to kick up the options from what is mostly a brewery/tourist, fast food, ski town to some really nice places popping up. Well this place has an incredible menu. with option that will stand against any of the Denver area. For this meal we were just looking to get food, that was not fast food and get back on the road. We were very pleased with the food, the server was super good and super pleasant. The kitchen time was my only complaint. It took a really long time for the entree to come out. But once it did we were pleased. One of the things that I like about this place that you do not find at nice restaurants are options like Sandwisches, Salads and items that are still able to showcase the quality and creativity and are on the lower prices that gives everyone an option. And then you have the really upscale and incredible looking dishes that are pricier and likely worth every cent. Everything looked and sounded amazing. We tried the shrimp app, it had this amazing dipping sauce that was evident that it was homemade, light and citrusy, truly amazing and the shrimp cooked perfectly. The Salmon BLT was incredible, with huge thick pieces of peppered bacon, cooked perfectly and on an incredible bun, homemade chips, wow!!! My Thai Steak Salad was a really nice portion of tender steak pieces, the salad was really nice and a great light Thai flavor. For dessert, homemade Choclate truffles , with homemade Baileys Irish cream whipped cream. Really great meal, I wish this place the very best!!!

We met some younger friends for breakfast here as they said this was their favorite place. My husband and I could soon enough taste why. I tasted my first 'biscuits and gravy' and I'll only ever have it here it was sooooo Yum-mie! Our friend's said you'll never get it as tasty as here anywhere else. I love also that they have a savory option with their muffins. But! The best was their lamb hash - OMG! We'll never be able to drive through Dillon without stopping here whether it's a meal time or not lol!

We went here for our anniversary and we were absolutely delighted. First off our server Dolton was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, the wines etc. whoever does the training here is crushing it. The first impression was a beautiful card and a prosecco toast. The food was amazing perfectly cooked with an exceptional presentation. We seriously recommend Bistro North.

This is my goto place but recently they completely changed the menu. All the local favs are gone. Brunch menu - no chilaquiles or shakshuka and they took away the Thai salad??? Then happy hour no elote, chicken sliders and shumai…how do you do this to us??? Please bring them back…service is amazing as always to Dominique/Jolene/Cody!!!

We are locals, and visit Bistro about once a week. The new menu items are delicious and beautifully presented. We always feel welcome, and watch as others arrive - local and first timers - always greeted with a smile and a welcoming question. The happy hour appetizers can’t be beat anywhere in the county, and many of the main course items are favorites. Stop in if you are visiting or if you are a local and haven’t been in for a while to check out the new menu items.

Great place for a leisurely meal... we loved the cozy chic vibe, friendly service, and delicious food. We were not at all in a rush and it did take a pretty long time for us to get our food and then our check. Put your patient hat on and enjoy. We would absolutely return.

Allergy conscious menu and trained staff (thank you Alicia) with celiac safe GF options including a dedicated fryer, GF fried food (minus shrimp & beer battered fries), and GF buns that stayed together even with au jus. Nice to have safe options for parents & kids with celiac.

Came with girlfriends and had a wonderful experience, top to bottom. The atmosphere is nice, the service friendly and attentive, and ALL of the food delicious - from the bread and appetizers to the entrees, cocktails and dessert (I love a restaurant with a dedicated pastry chef!) The icing on top is that the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. How often does that happen these days? I can't wait to come back! I hear they have a great happy hour, too.

I've been wanting to write this for months! Back in June we had our micro wedding at Sapphire Point and selected Bistro North for our dinner. We had the wine room— it was a perfect and beautiful backdrop for our 28 person set up, including accommodating my grandfather's wheelchair. Jessica was very helpful along the way, especially as I was planning this from Buffalo, NY and had actually never set foot in the restaurant! We got to select our own menu for guests to order from. We have some family members with annoying dietary restrictions/preferences and Bistro North was easily able to accommodate these requests which made everything a breeze as I really aimed to have our wedding be an experience for our guests. From start to finish this was absolutely a time to remember. To this day, our guests still rave about the food and service. My husband and I both will always remember the bison short ribs and yummy cocktails! Both servers were phenomenal. Honestly the best service I have received in YEARS (and I'm a foodie!) While I was sat outside at their fire pit (still in my strapless wedding dress on a cooler night), Cody brought me out a blanket...completely unprompted. The tiny but loud gestures like that really make a difference! We cannot wait to return for some good bites, and hopefully one day become regulars!

I recently joined my parents for their 29th wedding anniversary dinner at Bistro North, and it ended up being one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. None of us drink alcohol, and sometimes that can make celebratory dinners feel a little overlooked, but Bistro North was the complete opposite. Our server was so attentive and genuinely thoughtful. When we ordered dessert, they surprised us with non-alcoholic Prosecco so we could still enjoy a celebratory toast. It was such a small gesture, but it truly made the night feel special. Their mocktail menu is also fantastic — creative, delicious, and perfect for anyone who prefers not to drink but still wants something fun and festive. Bistro North really goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, including those who don’t drink alcohol. It’s definitely a safe, inclusive spot to celebrate something special or just enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend.

We’ve been going to Bistro North since it first opened, and it has always been a favorite. They have a great happy hour menu, and brunch has been a regular go-to for us as well. Cody and Dominque are fantastic servers. They are consistently attentive, friendly, and make you feel well taken care of every visit. Recently, there have been some menu changes. While the new items are good in their own right, I do miss some of the previous dishes, especially the chilaquiles. That was my main reason for coming in for brunch, so it’s disappointing to see it removed. Another example is the appetizer change. The lightly battered tempura shrimp was replaced with a shrimp dish covered in sauce. That said, one highlight that never disappoints is the weekly brunch muffins. Each week there is one sweet and one savory special, and they are always delicious. Everything is homemade, and you can really taste the care that goes into the food. Bistro North is still a great spot with excellent service and quality ingredients. I just hope to see some of those standout favorites, especially the chilaquiles, make a return to the menu.

Great food with relatively nice ambience. The spicey ginger mocktail was out of this world. The off the menu foraged mushrooms was a dish to remember, so great that I will try to recreate that at home, came with cactus leaves and cilantro in garlic aioli. Salmon and halibut also perfect. I rarely complain about service when the food is good but our waiter showed zero interest in interacting with us, we had to chase and interpret him to order more drinks. We were psyched to try the deserts but at the end everyone in my party was so offended by the server that we decided to skip that. I don't expect the servers to ask me about my childhood or complement me on my outfit, but it's not hard to keep an eye on everyone's glasses once in a while.

My mom and I came in on a Tuesday. We were driving through looking at leaves, and we wanted something more than fast food. I saw this place on the exit sign and decided to give it a try. We had the crispy tiger shrimp, the shumai, and the butter leaf salad. I wanted to like something, but everything was bland, and it just didn't come together. The menu seems exciting, and I wanted to try the fresh concepts. However, the shrimp were bland. Like the breading has no salt or anything, and you didn't season the shrimp-BLAND!! We had to ask for a salt shaker right at the start because this restaurant doesn't have pepper or salt on the table. This is a pretty bold move considering the total lack of flavor in the dishes. The basil dressing on the butter leaf salad sounded good but isn't. It's extra sweet, and although the ingredients were fresh, it just doesn't come together like you would want it to. (More salt and pepper, please!!) The shumai wrap is fried. An important factor that is left out on the menu. The chili sauce is Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce. The "chili butter" tastes like BBQ, and there is little to no taste of the gorgonzola. I feel like the menu sounds good in theory, but the food itself missed the mark for us. The outside seating seemed to have a nice view. We opted for inside seating, as it was windy and chilly that Tuesday. They put us at a 2 top against a wall. The server was attentive, and the place overall seemed clean. The food was just bland. It was very underwhelming for the price and experience. I wanted more from this restaurant, but left regetting not getting a cheeseburger somewhere else.

I don’t love writing negative reviews, but here we are… Bistro North came highly recommended by friends, so our expectations were fairly high. Unfortunately, things fell apart quickly. Our server was friendly and cheerful, but issues started with drink service. One person ordered an NA wine and another a Merlot. After the first sips, we realized the drinks had been mixed up. When we gently asked for the NA to be repoured, the server returned with the same drink plus a sample of the NA wine to prove it hadn’t been switched. What an odd way to handle it. Appetizers were decent, but dinner took an exceptionally long time. The table next to us received their food, ate, paid, and left before our meals arrived. When our dinner came, the server accidentally bumped our son’s water glass, sending glass all over and into his lap. Once things were cleaned up, we realized our son’s dinner hadn’t been delivered at all. No one addressed it. When the server returned to refill waters, she said she would check on it. Several minutes later it arrived undercooked and clearly rushed. I’d guess they forgot it until the food was delivered. Sadly I can’t say the service was the only disappointing part. Some was overcooked, some under, some was cold. Honestly, I would have given more stars if more was done to address the issues during the meal.

Pricey and a bit disappointing. We knew this was a high end restaurant, but for over $100 per person we came away disappointed and a little hungry. The steak was around $72 and not worth it - we make a much better steak at home. The portion sizes were small (and we aren't big eaters). Probably the worst thing was that we were seated all by ourselves in the back area. There was absolutely no atmosphere back there and the only people we saw all night were the parade of people in and out of the restrooms which were right near out table. We did have reservations. I could understand if we just walked in and that was the only seating option, but to be stuck in a cold isolated area near the bathrooms was unappetizing and not my idea of a nice evening out. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and the server was attentive. Overall, the food wasn't bad - just not what you'd expect at that price point. Other people do rave about this place, but sadly we won't be back.

W
Wenyi Wang

Ordered the steak here and honestly pretty disappointed. For $75, the portion was shockingly small — it came with only two pieces of steak in the container. The flavor was fine and the sides were okay, but the value just wasn’t there at all. For this price point I expected a much more generous serving or at least something that felt like a full entrée. Won’t be ordering the steak again.
