These guys are really a great place to order from.We used them for our kids birthdays while attending MEHS. The best thing is being able to order the food in advance pay and know it’s going to be delivered!
Went here for some tacos. Pretty good would def return if I was in the area
Pizza is decent. Not a big fan of their Mexican food. However after living in California for 20 plus years its hard to favor ant mexican from any other state for me.
Food was good, we ordered a pizza and the fries with the toppings and it was a good portion
Olivia behind the counter recommended the Carne Asada Torta Grilled Skirt Steak,with a side of salad, a large guacamole chased by a generous portion of Sopaipilla with leche condensada. Every single item was perfect after a day of seeing beautiful Sitka. Yuyo's located next to St.Michaels Russian church has a large glass font ideal for people watching.
It was great! Their pepperoni pizza is amazing, not too cheesy (which I like) and very good as leftovers, their chicken tenders and fries are also amazing! My cousin was visiting and he ordered the Margarita pizza in a large, and it was so good he ate the entire thing!
Caught some King Salmon on a Charter and brought some in to these guys. They whipped us up the most amazing fish tacos with our fresh salmon. Bring your fresh caught fish here and have them work some magic with it! Definitely impressed. Ill be back soon.
Our family is in Sitka for a medical emergency and inundated this cute restaurant right before closing time. We ordered a ton of food and stayed beyond their closing time. Through it all, the host was incredibly nice and made us feel at ease. The food was great, especially the pizza. Highly recommend this restaurant!
First, the place was open when most others weren’t (no cruise ships in = most places not open). Second, the owner said everything was cooked from scratch, so we were confident that gluten intolerant requests could be accommodated. Best Mexican food we’ve had in a while. Homemade enchilada sauce was a welcome change from most other places. Truly authentic, family made. Seemed very popular with take out crowd, too. Owner was pleasant to talk with and very accommodating.
Yuyo’s is a special little place in Sitka. Very tasty. Rey fast service. Great prices, for Sitka and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I ate in and had a couple plates which I really enjoyed. I have not tried the pizza but will return to do so. Thanks for being here Yuyo’s. You rock!!
My mom and I came in for a snack and shared the nachos. The food was yummy and staff was very nice.
We really enjoyed this restaurant because they offer so many tasty vegetarian options! It’s downstairs so it’s a little hard to find but totally worth it.
Food was great here! I was a bit skeptical given the mix of menu choices, but my food was really good! Especially the salsa! I had a quesadilla with chips and salsa, nothing fancy, but enjoyed every bite. This restaurant is inside a storefront, then down the stairs and on the left down the hall a bit. Definitely not something you’d see or know to go to unless you’re googling places to eat. But I DO recommend it!
Super awesome pizza al pastor and Sonoran enchiladas followed by churros with salted caramel ice cream tonight. Chef Chazaq Luz Pinto Rodriguez is new here and is rocking this place 🙌 A few years ago I tried the place but didn't go back. It's been very inconsistent, I've heard, but they've found a good chef now. The food has greatly improved with a professional quality.
A welcome addition to Sitka’s food scene. Young Chefs bringing authentic regional Mexican food to the table. Have been twice during their soft opening and was very pleased both times. Is a take out place with a couple of booths if you are eating on the run. Fresh salsas, hand made tortillas, beautiful food you will want to order a medley to take home and plate and share. So far my favorites are the Taco del Perro and Carne Con Queso Torta, best sandwich in town!
4 Stars – Mexican Spot with Surprisingly Great Halibut Not sure if it was a daily special, but the halibut fish and chips was excellent, crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Since it’s a Mexican restaurant, they also served chips and salsa alongside the dish, which was an unexpected but pleasant touch. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food overall was very good. Just be prepared, as prices here are definitely on the high side.
Found this little out of the way place in Sitka. We love Mexican food so we thought we'd try it. We thought the salsa served with chips was excellent, but the rest of the food was a little bland overall. Noticed people at other tables ordering pizza, and it looked good. Wish we would have tried it. The waitress was nice and friendly, but it looked like she was the only one working that day, so the service was slow. After she brought us our check, we waited for 20 minutes for her to come back and pick up our credit card to process the payment, and she never did. We ended up going to the kitchen window to pay.
Have been coming to Yuyo’s during annual fishing trips. Used to be good. Not sure what happened but seems like a change in ownership. Food is mediocre at best and expensive for what you get. Won’t be going back.
Got the carne asada. Meat was so tough I could barely chew it. Didn’t end up eating it. Service was okay. Took quite a while to get our takeout food. Overpriced for the lack of quality.
I ordered 2 crunchy tacos and the shells were burned as well as the tortilla chips. The hamburger tacos were a paste consistency and tasted like nothing but chili powder. The chicken wings were overcooked and rubbery. Never again!
