Todo perfecto las mujeres y los meseros de lo mejor, amables solo el chico que toma la orden en domingos muy distraído, pedí para llevar y me puso 2 que no le pedí de cerdo. De ahí en fuera recomendado

We waited in line for about 10 minutes. I didn't really understand the system. You get in line and order, but apparently you can reserve a table beforehand. Then they call your name and bring your food to the table. The staff was super friendly! The food was also delicious; it's hard to find places with such great, homemade flavor anymore. We ordered gorditas, sopes, and the pork shank dish. They also have Mexican-style coffee. Gorditas are $15, quesadillas are $38, and the dish is $110. We arrived at noon on a Sunday. The waitress told us that they run out of menudo and barbacoa around 9 or 10 am. I'm going to plan to go back earlier because I really wanted to try the other dishes, as I was delighted with what I ordered. Just a suggestion: they could put up a sign at the entrance explaining the process and prices. But honestly, everything was great. Thank you ♡
A rustic spot with a great ranch feel. Meals and tortillas cooked over a wood fire. Good service. Excellent Mexican-style coffee, very flavorful. Highly recommended.

The gorditas and stews are very well seasoned. The coffee and rat broth are all delicious. The prices are very affordable.
It's quite an experience to come and eat here. Sometimes, if you're lucky, there won't be a line, and other times there will be a long line that moves quickly (recommendation: from the moment you get in line, keep an eye out for a table to sit at. If you're very sociable, you can share a table with a couple or family and have some very pleasant conversations). All the food is delicious; there are options for everyone. Whether you like beef, pork, chicken, or if you're a vegetarian, there are gorditas, quesadillas, lunch plates, menudo, barbacoa, and rat broth, all prepared with excellent seasoning. The service from the entire staff is very warm. It's a must-stop when you're arriving in San Luis on the highway to Matehuala, or on weekends, holidays, or even during the week (when it's a little less crowded).

Please order the barbacoa gordita! It's not granny-sized... I do think it runs out quickly, or they don't sell it every day, but if there are any, order 3.

It's packed, the food is delicious and the service is excellent.
A unique and authentic experience! All the stews and the griddle are heated with firewood, which gives them a wonderful flavor. They also offer rabbit and field rat stews! The place is very rustic, and the smell of burning wood evokes a sense of nostalgia. The staff, women and girls from nearby communities, are very friendly. Highly recommended.
