I heard about this place from a coworker so my husband and I drove from Yuma to try it out. We both ordered the menudo and it was so delicious. We will definitely be back. (Great service, delicious food, and well worth the drive).

I LOVE this place!!! I live in the foothills, so I didn’t know it even existed. It’s truly authentic Mexican food as if your nana was cooking! LOVE LOVE IT!!! We look forward to trying the whole menu!

Kids wanted to go to IHOP just for the funny face pancake, but we wanted menudo so we went to La Cabaña. We asked for a customized pancake and they were very happy to help. We ate menudo and the kids got their funny face. Win-win.

The food is sooooooo yummy! Everything is more then 6 ft apart! You can dine in. Its a nice little place to go have delicious Mexican food :)

Passing thru town and pick this place since saw it on road. Very good torta and flautas my my said we’re like best ones made in Mexicali, she loved them ! Will Try out next visit breakfast menu. Recommend it .

Was in somerton so I searched for somewhere to eat while I was here. La cabana seemed like it would be a perfect spot because they advertised breakfast online and I love breakfast. I decided to get huevos ranchero and right away I was asked how I wanted my eggs, this is usually a sign to change my order because huevos ranchero to me is always sunny side up eggs. I decided to just keep my choice and what I got surprised me. First there was no sauce that goes over the egg, it was just Bell peppers, onions and tomato. This kind of reminded me of pico the Gallo and that's not what I want. Egg was not sunny side up like I requested and didn't get hash browns I got french fries. The French fries were good so it wasn't a bad thing but usually breakfast comes with hash brown. The price was not expensive but not once did my waitress come and check up on me. I will say their horchata was refreshing and tasty. Not sure if I'll be back but checking up on your customer service is needed and you have to get orders right. So this spot could be 4 or 5 stars but for this visit it's average.

Somehow they lost my order for a table of four. Afterwards they could only try to explain possibilities of what could happen instead of just saying sorry and taking care of it. She spoke to me in the condescending way. I just spent $80 and to be gaslighted was not appreciated. I've been there in the past with no problem but I doubt I will return because of this.

Overall: The Burrito was okay, but bad customer service. In Detail: I was in the mood for a breakfast burrito and I was in the area. I walked in and quickly saw the black board with the information on their 3-Burrito "Paquete". The first thing I tried was mix and match the type of burritos but I was quickly met with a confused look on the lady taking my order, after a couple of attempts at explaining to me how it worked, I believe this is how the special works: Out of the 3 Burritos, 2 will be the 1 type of burrito one chooses, the third burrito will be a bean burrito. Hopefully this will help someone that hasn't been there before. I just wish the lady there would have been more patient with a new customer and less rude. At the end I had to order a Special Burrito because the Egg Bacon burrito was not even one of the types listed. The $5.50 burrito was pretty small, I can only wonder how small the pre-wrapped ones are (the one from the "Paquete", on the black board). And the burrito could have used a bit more salt. I hope your experience is better.

Had a Similar problem as other "customers" with their burritos and customer service. They act like a deer in headlights when asking for clarification. Ps that's normal. Dist restrictions, food allergies, etc etc. Language barriers isn't a problem it's a lack of customer service and professionalism. Also refused to return my digital currency to my USAA bank card after I paid for my order and later refused me my purchased order because I asked for clarification. Owner proceeded to harass me while I was sitting down waiting for them to make sure it was the correct order. Clearly just waiting for them to do their job. Owner had already targeted me because she has the place under camera surveillance ps I'm sure they need to disclose that. Anyways in my opinion that's a violation of privacy. Especially when she decided to personally target and attack me while sitting down. Not surprised though women here have already done that to me and I realize it's a trend especially if speaking English here. I asked that they make sure they give me the correct order after the cashier asked me what I ordered and said I don't remember/know check my receipt. Not my job by the way, if orders aren't prepared it's not up to me to track them and do the waitresses job. I don't know the way they pre package their burritos. (Not my responsibility ) in other words lack of professionalism and unless you're in military uniform or in a police uniform the women there don't care to greet you like a paying customer. Ps not to mention another man that walked in and they happily greeted him also had a problem with the order but I was singled out and targeted at this establishment. Horrible, don't recommend. Establishment is not ran well, toxic and hostile. Not to mention this whole area has a monopoly of establishments. Didn't realize you would get harassed for speaking English.
