Spread Kitchen

A group of us had a late lunch at Spread Kitchen to celebrate a friend's birthday after a morning of wine tasting. For most of us it was our first time visiting, and the servers were friendly and patient, answering questions and offering suggestions. We had a reservation and were seated in the back garden patio, which was such a pleasant spot on a sunny day. The trees provided natural shade and there were cute decorative items hanging along the walls and branches (for sale, I think). We ordered a couple of dip plates and apps to share across the tables. My husband and I split a grain bowl with chicken plus a side of lamb kofta, and the portions ended up being just right for the two of us. And of course we had to finish with dessert - their homemade baklava was the perfect sweet ending. Would happily return.

Finally some good housemade falafel in Sonoma!! Will be coming back just for that. Excellent vegan options. Tasty mezzes. Excellent service. Did I mention the excellent falafel?? Patio is super charming and dog friendly.

We were blown away by this gem of a restaurant! Sebastian served us, along with our unruly dogs, on the patio. It was one of the best meals we had during our 3 week California vacation. Fresh, flavourful, and exquisite presentation. As an added bonus, everything was really well priced. Don’t hesitate to pay a visit!

I’m lucky enough to have Spread Kitchen local to me. I go frequently to treat myself and while at other places I usually I find a favorite dish and stick with it, with Spread- literally anything on the menu is gonna be good, so I switch things up often to my delight. It’s the perfect food to treat yourself to but I also find the types of dishes to be excellent for sharing with friends or serving at a party. Chef Cristina is so friendly and so deserving of the recent SF chronicle title of “hidden gem in wine country”. If you wanna know what a local in Sonoma wants to eat, among all the options, this is the spot. (Ok, also El Molino if you’re in the mood for Mexican) pero por qué no los dos? If I’ve convinced you to go, definitely get the beet feta dip. I literally said “oh my god” when I ate it and that’s why I’m writing this review.

I can't say enough positive things about Spread Kitchen! The food was soooooo flavourful, and the meal was 💯 satisfying. The layers of flavor, high-quality ingredients, absolutely everything about this place met my cravings. A perfect meal paired with a solid glass of cab. Telling everyone about this spot.

Spread is a wonderful Mediterranean food addition to Sonoma. We got the falafel wrap and it is huge with falafel pickles cabbage slaw and green tahini. Try the hot sauce, it's a harrisa and it makes you want more. We also got the cauliflower wrap. That was wonderful too. Great proteins, pickles, and sauces that are all homemade. This is a great place where the vegan options are not stuck in the corner as an afterthought ... you feel welcomed and very kindly served upon. I'm so happy there's a place for a vegan to eat in Sonoma!!!!

Amazing food! There is something for everyone including those with dietary restrictions. And everything tastes amazing! We had saffron rice, falafel, za'atar fries, cauliflower with a stone fruit salad. Highly recommend!

Food is beyond amazing! I drive all the way from Concord just for the hummus plate and it's worth and street light and pot hole we endure to get there 😋. But seriously, the food is absolutely delicious and the staff is friendly and funny and it's always a great experience!

Hidden gem. If you like Libanese food in general, you will love this place. Awesome food, friendly staff, cozy terrace. The baba ghanoush, the falafel and the loaded fries were awesome.

Spread hits on all points, atmosphere, food and hospitality. We’re vegan and their vegan options are not after thoughts… they’re absolutely delicious.

I got the grain bowl with turmeric chicken and it was tender and delicious. The hummus and tabouli and saffron rice was to die for. All the flavors melded together so well. Very nice staff and a beautiful patio garden area.

Spread Kitchen was recommended to me by locals and all I can say is … Wow! The Mediterranean style food Spread Kitchen serves is outstanding! Fresh and flavorful and so original. Since moving to Sonoma from San Francisco, I have missed all the ethnic foods offered there. Now that I’ve discovered Spread Kitchen, I will definitely be a regular customer. The house-made tabouli, falafel and sauces are scrumptious! Vegan options are available too. I’m so happy that restaurants like Spread Kitchen are here in Somoma, now I won’t be as homesick for the City as much, Thanks Spread Kitchen, your food is a lifeline to wonderful cuisine.

Loved it! Great outdoor seating with heaters available. All the food was fresh light and full of flavor. We had the fried cauliflower and it was not at all greasy. It was crispy and moist with fantastic spices. The hummus dip was delicious along with the pickled veggie. Great place for vegetarian or vegan eaters. The rice pudding dessert is sooo good. Light and creamy with nuts and seasoning. Friendly great service.

Absolute new favourite place. This was truly 10/10. We live nearly 30 minutes away and made the drive because of the focus on Lebanese food, and let me say we will be making the trek back out often. Not a single miss. Service was incredible, shout out to Nicole for being the best human ever and so kind and lovely. Christina, the Chef, was kind enough to come over a few times to check in and was not only a salt of the earth human but also damn funny. The food. Wow. Every dip was incredible, super flavourful, we could’ve just done three rounds of dip and been set. The bread they serve feels like traditional Lebanese flatbread, everything about it is A+. The cauliflower and brussel sprouts are a must, perfection honestly. Fries were so good and a great share plate for the table. Both the sirloin and lamb kofta were cooked beautifully and had so much flavour. This is a phenomenal spot to take friends that want to socialize and catch up, everything we had was built to be passed around the table and shared. The wine list was tight and diverse, I loved that they carried a few Lebanese options on the menu. It’s hard to find value on lists these days unless you really know where to look, but this list was pure value from top to bottom. Wildly impressed and can’t wait to come back this week. Determined to become regulars. Thank you Christina and Nicole for incredible hospitality, food we’re already craving again, and all the warmth. 11/10, stop reading this review and go grab your table already!☺️

The meats were perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned just right. The wrap I had was not only delicious but also incredibly filling, with every bite better than the last. It is rare to find a spot that nails every element of the meal, but Spread Kitchen did exactly that. I am already planning to make the drive back up just to eat here again.

I live in Greece and am lucky to be surrounded by some of the freshest, most flavorful food in the world, so when I say SPREAD Kitchen in Sonoma blew me away, I truly mean it. I had lunch here recently, and it was hands down one of the best meals l've had in California. We ordered a selection of dips, the lamb, French fries, and a fresh salad, along with a natural ginger ale soda. Every bite was incredible, vibrant, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The quality of ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation was obvious. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal, and we loved sitting outside in their charming outdoor space. It's such a sweet setting and made the whole experience even more special. As someone who scouts restaurants professionally, mainly in Greece, for my travel clients, I'm adding SPREAD Kitchen to my list of must-visits for anyone coming to Sonoma. This place is a gem. Highly recommended!

The rice in the falafel bowl was amazing. It had apricots! So tasty. So were the falafels. Crispy Brussel sprouts were top notch! The server, Gio was great in that he was able to explain the dishes. We ate outside which gave us more room it also had fun art work! Wonderful experience and highly recommended!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Sonoma! The food is always delicious and it comes out really quick. We got the dirty fries, a dip plate with the whipped beet feta and baba ganoush, a lamb wrap, and a falafel wrap. Their falafels are never dry and the wraps were delicious. The outdoor seating in the patio is also a really cute atmosphere.

What a gem this neighborhood spot is! Cute outdoor backyard patio seating, grab and go stuff in the front, and some of the most bomb California-Lebanese food I've ever tried! My mom and I split two lavash wraps for lunch, which was such a smart move. She got the turmeric chicken and I got the green sauce falafel, both local style with added hummus and hot sauce. We opted for tabouleh and fries with toum as sides, both excellent and perfect accoutrements. Really loved the explosion of colors, textures, and herbaceous flavors. Left lunch feeling nourished and energized. Make sure you take some hummus and tahini home to-go, and a tahini brownie. Trust me!

This is more of a locals place, but it shouldn't be. Lebanese food but feels like its got a California vibe too it. Its simply delicious. The dips are amazing especially the babagnoush and the roasted red.pepper. im on a falafel kick so I get that in a wrap but u can get any of the meats or falafel however you want. Wrap. Salad. On its own. They have fries in all sorts of ways. The founder and staff are cool. U can tell they love their own food and want to share it. Met the owner and she said, "there's just a lot of bad falafel in the world" hers is better. Sit outside. Its great

We had dinner here with a friend. We ordered barbecue selection with hummus and baba ghanoush. We also had falafel. We finished with rice pudding dessert. The food tasted great. Every dish arrived hot and well prepared. The service exceeded expectations. Staff paid attention and moved fast. Nothing was missed. Prices felt fair for the portions and quality. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. I will return again.

Went in for their Dirty Feta Fries. Ended up ordering …… juuuust about the whole menu. The wrap -divine, gotta go local style obviously. Fries - tremendous. The spreads - incredible (obviously). I went in starving, in an awful mood, and fluctuating between a size small-medium. I left completely satiated, in an amazing mood, and toggling between size Large to XL Husky. Worth it. Before I sign off here - must also mention their iced tea is SO GOOD! Their brownie and espresso also lovely, I was running laps in the parking lot after and my work gave me a promotion. Finally! Their wine list is 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 soooo good! If you drive by this joint on your daily commute and have never been, I’m not sure how that’s possible. But you must go!

The food was delicious. We had the crispy Brussels sprouts, sooo yummy! Plenty of options for vegetarians and non vegetarians. It is a dog friendly place and the outdoor seating was very pleasant on a lovely day!

This is a favorite locals spot and the food is always AHmazing! It’s all high quality and while I end up eating a ton of food I never feel bad about it because it’s all so good for you! The pickled veggies are yummy. And the beet and feta dip is divine! I am addicted to it - like honestly I could eat it daily! I find something new to love every time I go. The service is always top notch and the back patio is lovely. Great wines too! Highly recommend.

They had me at the vegan tahini brownie. This is a place that you wish you could bring home with you. I had a felafel wrap, seasoned fries, and tahini brownie (of course). I was stuffed with leftovers and SO HAPPY. Everything was amazing. Don’t skip the Toum with the fries. Super delish. I got take out but the staff was friendly and the vibe inside looked cute.

I would have given 10 stars if google let me , the food here tasted that good.Every food item we ordered was fresh , tasty and hit all the right spots of our taste buds. We had a very good selection of vegetarian/ vegan food.Even after a heavy lunch we still felt light because of the fresh ingredients. The ambience felt warm and cozy and the staff were really kind . I definitely will be going back here .

This restaurant is a standout. Totally superior middle-east cuisine. Tasted the Tumeric chicken bowl- delicious. Had the muhmmara , excellent. If you love garlic you will absolutely love the Toum.

After a couple days in Napa we wanted something low key and yet still really delicious. Spread Kitchen is the place. We ordered a variety to try it all - hummous, baba ghanouge, beet spread, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, lentil soup, felafel - and everything was fantastic. This place is a treasure hiding in plain sight. I cannot wait to go back again.

We enjoy this quaint and snappy Middle Eastern food. The menu has vegan and carnivore options, and both are delicious. Friendly and accommodating service, in a clean and simple shop.
