This pizza was really good and cooked perfectly! I had 6 teenagers with me and they were ALL happy and this never happens! The pizza was thick too! The cheesy breadsticks were exactly this! CHEEEEESY, hot and delicious with of course your favorite dipping sauce. I ordered a pork sandwich with pepperchinis and it came with a house salad that was so fresh and crisp! It was a great choice, among their several sandwiches to choose from. It was the weekend and they were super busy; but I ordered ahead of the bowling alley reservation and it was PERFECT timing! The kiddos could bowl and eat their fresh, hot and ready pizza and cheesy breadsticks. They have a full draft and beer bar to choose from adult beverages, no hard alcohol. There is plenty of free, safe, ADA, well lit parking as well as ADA inside seating. The entire family can enjoy a good pizza and salad while they bowl in the bowling alley.
The St. Charles in Columbia has always had great pizza, so I had high expectations for this location. It was great! Priced reasonably, ingredients were fresh, flavors unexpectedly layered, and not just sysco products thrown together. The atmosphere was meh, but it's the family floor of a casino so they don't have much going on to begin with. Service was friendly and top notch. Like 15ish beers on tap, several varieties of wine, but no liquor at this location.
The absolute BEST pizza in Tuolumne county. We had the Islander and cheesey bread sticks when we went and it was excellent. Highly recommend.

Just had an incredible dining experience at The Charlie at Black Oak Casino Resort and I can’t stop raving about it! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was absolutely top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt welcomed throughout our entire visit. Now let’s talk about the pizza - WOW! We ordered the pickle pizza and the Boss Hog pizza, and both were absolutely fire! The pickle pizza was such a unique and delicious surprise - perfectly balanced flavors that shouldn’t work together but absolutely do. And the Boss Hog? Pure perfection. The combination of ingredients was spot-on, and you could tell they use quality ingredients. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Great atmosphere, phenomenal service, and pizza that will have us coming back again and again. If you’re at Black Oak Casino Resort, The Charlie is a must-visit. Highly recommend trying both of these pizzas - you won’t be disappointed!

I definitely highly recommend, Would def come again. To begin, i love the hidden behind the forestry, off town setting. The rooms are at least 4 STARS, ss well as the ammenities imcluded: Outdoor pool w jumbo tron sports Tv, huge hot tub area, cabanas, splish-splash fun center pool area adjacent, plus cantina by the pool. Next for the family and kids you have a bowling, arcade and games top notch area with plenty of lanes Along some pretty good pizza. Oh and of course the casino (though not my thing). Plenty of free parking. Service dogs only allowed.

Previously was 5 star across the board. Amazing food and service. It has been down graded to 1 star do to 1 person working there. I walk up, on the phone with my wife to decide what to order, bartender walks up, "kitchen closes at 10, order now" its 944... 945(literally 1 min later) 'i cant take your order, kitchen is closed.' I point out time difference 'i dont have time to argue' yet im about to drop $100+ on an order plus a 20%+ tip. But she aint got time for that. If i come back again and she there, we aint bowling, gambling, arcading, etc.
First off....Tuesday the 21st we were the only customers in there for awhile. No salt on tater tots, the cheese that came with it was only warmed up in the microwave. We ordered 2 sandwiches with our tots and they came with plain stale chips. I had the Italian which tasted funky, little did I know that id still be sick from it 2 days later. Spouse ordered the 1 with artichokes on it and it and we couldn't tell that any artichokes were on it. It took over 30 minutes for our food. Won't be coming back!
Your family receives better service than a customer. ???? My family went here last night and received the worst service ever. We have eaten at the Black oaks casino numerous times, and we always have wonderful service. So we thought we would try The Charlie for the first time. Alicia gave us the worst service! We would normally never say that, we respect anybody in the food service business. It’s a hard job sometimes. But they were not busy. She got our drink order wrong brought my salad at the end of the meal when I was already full never came by to ask us if we needed anything my soda was pretty much empty the whole time we were eating. All the while we were wondering why the table next to us was getting such good service from her then we realized it was her family. Never going back!!!
