The first time I visited this restaurant was in 1989... I've been back many times and the quality is always top notch. Excellent dishes, fair prices, courteous and impeccable service... fabulous culatello, torta fritta, and pumpkin tortelli. A truly TOP reference.

I had lunch at Trattoria Al Voltone and was thrilled. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the friendliness of the entire staff, a genuine attention that immediately created a family atmosphere, where you truly felt at home. The owner's professionalism, combined with his courtesy, made it feel more like dining with a friend than in a restaurant. The dishes were excellent, served quickly and with care. Every dish was delicious and tasty. A highly recommended place, one of those discoveries that stays in your heart. I really hope to return soon, and despite the distance from Rome, I'm sure I'll happily go the extra mile and travel just to dine there again!

I organized the annual lunch with my paternal relatives and we had a great time. The food is high-quality and plentiful (we had several doggy bags). The service is impeccable, and everyone is very courteous and helpful. The value for money is more than fair. We all complimented the manager, and I personally will return as soon as possible. The cured meats appetizer and first courses were excellent. The second course was excellent, but since we were full, we probably didn't fully appreciate it.

Lovely Trattoria very well known for some of the best Culatello in the area and cappelletti in brodo. We had the Culatello to start then the cappelletti and instead of mains we had more Culatello as it was delicious! Very good local wine. We were looked after very well by the waitress and all were very friendly. Large portions, great quality at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend

Characterful and welcoming atmosphere near the Soragna fortress. They offer top-notch cuisine, and they never miss a beat. Excellent value for money, and friendly, family-friendly service. Anolini, tagliatelle with mushrooms, two pairs of tortelli, tripe and fried mushrooms, zuppa inglese, and homemade cakes, along with coffee, nocino, and bargnolino liqueur.

Trattoria Al Voltone is located in the center of Soragna, just steps from the beautiful fortress dating back to 1385. We're in the Parma lowlands, and here you can breathe in, and above all, eat, Emilian cuisine. Of course, the cured meats, such as Culatello di Zibello or Spalla cotta di San Secondo, are accompanied by their homemade giardiniera. Then there's the tortelli—the pumpkin ones, in this season, are a must-try. Main courses, such as stuffed veal tip, and finally the desserts. The zuppa inglese is my absolute favorite. Of course, the recommended wines are typically local, such as Lambrusco, Malvasia, or Fortana. The service is typical of Emilians, and finally, the quality/price ratio makes you say you'll definitely be back. Well done! 👏 P.S. Just one suggestion: "Please make torta fritta for lunch too." 😊

We stumbled upon this trattoria by chance: we had in mind another nearby inn, but there wasn't any room. Searching nearby, we found Al Voltone... and what a discovery! A warm welcome from the staff, with very kind and always smiling women, made us feel at ease right away. The service was quick, attentive, but never intrusive. The food? Simply excellent. Traditional dishes prepared with care, fresh ingredients, and generous portions—all at fair prices. You can sense the passion in the kitchen and the desire to make guests feel good. We were truly satisfied and will definitely return. A true Emilian trattoria, the kind that makes you feel at home.

Tipica trattoria delle zone con cucina tradizionale con porzioni abbondanti e gustose. Torta fritta ( gnocco fritto) fatto bene non unto . Personale veloce , gentile. Consigliabile la prenotazione.

Stop for lunch, exiting the A1 at Fidenza. This is a must-see, located in the center of a charming village in the Emilian plain. All the traditional dishes, without exception, are presented without unnecessary frills, in generous portions, promptly, and with a smile. Not a word comes from the kitchen, everything runs like a well-oiled machine, and the "girls" in the dining room are attentive and kind. Any recommendations? The local cured meats, without exception. The anolini in brodo or the ricotta and vegetable ravioli, just like grandma used to make. The Fassona steak tagliata is wonderful. The braised pork cheek is incredibly delicate, melts in the mouth, and cooked for a long time without any excess spices, as is too often the case. We saw tripe and tagliolini with truffle pass by, which alone were worth the trip. And to finish, the zabaglione and homemade desserts are mouth-watering. The bill was more than fair: €40 for a first course, second course, side dish, dessert, and coffee, with an excellent bottle of Lambrusco for four. The bathrooms were impeccable, and the restaurant was tidy, though not particularly spacious. Definitely worth repeating, once you've explored the rest of the menu.

Company lunch at this trattoria. Nice place, and above all, a positive and not to be taken for granted is the bathroom, I found it very clean and with the sink inside. The chairs are a bit worn and in my opinion need replacing. We had cured meats as an appetizer, and I must say they were delicious. The only flaw was the bread was very hard. The first courses were truly formidable. The desserts were average, nothing exceptional, the tart was a bit burnt. But overall, an excellent lunch and good prices.
