10 out of 10 . We havnt been for a couple of years but thought try it again . Food was really good at a fair price . Environment felt comfortable. Took a couple of photos once we had started to eat as it was so nice . Pub is easy to find opposite chips shop main part of village with plenty of parking

Lovely Sunday roast dinner on Mother's Day with the most amazing desserts on offer! Credit to the chefs and the great service from the front of house team!

So we have lived here for nearly two years and NEVER knew the Butchers had an open fire as we had never seen one lit - arriving on a freezing Tuesday eve (stretching out my birthday weekend 😁) I realise (studying the fireplaces) they they do in fact have a fire. We sat, had a drink and we were cold . So on asking the bar girl she said sure we will get it lit for you. OMG - ONE HAPPY COUPLE X

I guess I was lucky to see the sign for this pub. I've had a quality pint and great food (macaroni cheese) served by Emma & Amanda, so I'm very pleased that I stopped. Also there's free WiFi that worked well with my work laptop - so I was still technically working if anyone asks....

A fabulous pub with an amazing atmosphere, a real clean and tidy country pub. With warm friendly staff, always had time to chat with you. Even though we didn't go in the garden, it looks massive with plenty of space for all. Now the food. It was outstanding, freshly cooked and no waiting ages to be fed. Tasty, enjoyable and most importantly served piping hot on the plate. Looking forward to returning in the colder months to sit by the log fire and warm the old bones. Thanks Jason and Tiffany for doing what you do, and making sure these places are not forgotten.

Myself and my family visited today with our 2 Guide Dogs. The staff here were so lovely and extremely helpful. I am Gluten and Dairy Free and the lady went and found what was available to me twice. It was greatly appreciated. The food was delicious and enjoyed by us all. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this to others.

Met a friend here for lunch this week. Really great value lunch menu aswel as normal menu to choose from. The fire was roaring and lovely to sit by and warm up in January!! Staff so friendly and attentive. Food was yummy and great size portions. Whilst we didn't use the garden this time it looked a great area and cool play area for children. We will definitely be back!

We were served Dawn and had a fantastic experience. Dawn was very professional, friendly and made us feel very at ease from start to finish. We had the Sunday roast. The food was fantastic, we couldn't believe the amount of food we had on our plates. We did also have dessert which was also very nice. The service was spot on. Dawn went above and beyond and she couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for a fantastic experience. We will be back again soon.

Had a few drinks, a lovely meal and an overall amazing time it was all thanks to Izzy! She was so friendly, welcoming and on it all night, even when it was busy. Proper lovely service and made us feel really looked after — we’ll definitely be back!

We booked a table for a quick lunch before a meeting in Gaydon. Our meeting was scheduled for 13:00 and the Butcher’s Arms opens at 12:00 so when booking I added a note to say we’d be a little pressed for time so to let me know if that could cause a problem. The team said no and suggested making our menu choices in advance and even offered to open early. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our food was delicious and perfect portion sizes for a business lunch at great value. We will definitely return and are already recommending to friends, colleagues and family.

Not eaten here before but it was really lovely. Very friendly bar staff and serving staff. Varied menu, just a couple of things not available but still plenty of choice. The food was hot and tasty and good portions. The homemade pies were delicious. We were served by Emma who was very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable, traditional village pub. Highly recommend and we'll be back again very soon.

Fab Friday night family get together. All of the staff are super friendly. Great choice of drinks. Thanks Jason and Tiff for your warm welcome ( and Matt for the dance moves LOL )

Absolutely beautiful food! Hot and exactly how we asked for it! I had the lamb rump and my partner had the mac and cheese and homemade garlic bread. It was delicious! Isabel was lovely and very attentive! There was a lovely man also asking if we needed anything but didn't catch his name. The lovely lady behind the bar who we first spoke to had such a bubbly, welcoming presence and made us feel like we were as welcome as the regulars! Will definitely be back to win Joker Poker! 🎉

Discovered this lovely village pub earlier in the week after seeing it in FB. Was given a very warm welcome from Matt and had a very tasty reasonably priced lunch. Enjoyed it so much so we booked for Sunday lunch. Well we weren’t disappointed. After another warm welcome from this obviously popular village pub, our meals came out hot with melt in the mouth meat and fresh vegetables . Matt was easy to talk to with a lovely sense of humour and attentive to anything we might need. Will definitely be back!

Dropped by for the first time on the way back from holiday as we really fancied a pie and chips. Went for the steak and ale pie and the turkey and leek special pie. Also added a kids fish fingers and chips on for £1 which was actually proper batters fish goujons cooked fresh rather than frozen stuff. Food was amazing and they had a good selection of beers on tap too. Will come back again and try the Sunday roast.

We recently moved to the area and are always on the hunt for dog-friendly eateries. We’ve been to the Butcher’s Arms a few times now and are always greeted warmly by the staff. They’re always happy to accommodate us and our Pomeranian and Pomsky. Dog treats, water, and some extra fuss are always a hit. It’s a cozy little pub with delicious, affordable food, attentive staff, and a great atmosphere. It’s definitely one of our new favorite places to eat out!

We stayed in the village,at Manor Farm CL in our Motorhome for a couple of nights (the CL of which is also highly recommended) and it was a short walk to the Butchers Arms - so we paid three visits, including eating at lunchtime and dinnertime. The food and the choice really was excelent and very sensibly priced and the attentive service from all the staff deserves a special mention. There was a really good selection of draft ales available. The pub is very dog freindly and even has doggy treats on the bar. As far as we were concerned the Butchers Arms ticked all the boxes plus some during our visit to the area. Highly recommended and we will visit again.

The Butchers Arms Pub in Long Itchington is a gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to Dawn from the staff, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Her friendly demeanor and attentive service truly made a difference. Highly recommend this pub for a great dining experience!

Had a nice family meal in here. Parents have lived in the village for a long time, and actually don’t frequent the pub, I don’t think they’ve been for a good few years! Food was nice, staff friendly, and an extensive gin list!

This is a village pub about a 5-minute drive off junction 12 the M40. It's also about a 10 minute drive from jaguar land rover and Aston Martin factories. I visited here on Thursday and I'm surprised it wasn't very busy. Food and drink is the standard pub fare, very reasonably priced. The size of the portions were in proportion to the price that l paid. Service from the waitress was very good indeed, she was polite and friendly, service was very quick as well. Definitely better than any motorway service station on the M40.

We went with our two friends at lunchtime and we all enjoyed our meals. We were served by Emma who was very attentive and friendly. The only negative was that the room although comfortable and welcoming was quite cold. We have been here on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed our food and visit.

Nice village pub serving a good selection of ales and well priced meals.

Great little local pub with a lovely garden. We were staying locally but actually this was a good choice, not too expensive, good value for money.

B
Barbara Perkins

It’s a nice pub but don’t go if you’re hungry. The portion sizes were tiny and it did don’t feel very home made. This was the chicken tikka masala. They forgot to bring the naan but it was so small it hardly made a difference.

Bought a coffee and a mixed grill. Came to about 21 pounds . The mixed grill is probably the smallest mixed grill I have ever seen. The single small sausage was some cheap nasty thing. The steak was advertised as 6oz , it was nowhere near that. The chicken was some dry slither of meat. Gammon was ok. Chips just average. All with a few peas. Id be disappointed even if it was have that price. Shame really as it's a cossy little place for a meal, but that mixed grill id probably give 1 star out of 5. Very poor value for money I'm afraid.

Food was good but wait was far too long, waitresses did their best to make sure we were happy and gave us a free round was nice. But when it came to paying the bill, the deals we were promised were seemingly pulled from under us. New manager's attitude was absolutely dreadful, making me feel like I was a problem, claiming the T&Cs were on the menu but they were not. We asked specifically to make sure that the burger night meal would be honoured before ordering. There was no need to make a relaxed meal out into a confrontation! As a local, I will make a point not to return and to tell everyone we know to avoid. Such a shame as the waitresses were lovely.
