Classic Tex Mex dishes and a peppery salsa with chips are the draw at Anamia's. Try the tacos al carbon for well seasoned beef slices in pre rolled taco form with bean soup and guacamole. Service was good and not distracting.

BRUNCH MENU: Great guacamole! Wonderful! The chilaquiles are perfect! They cook the eggs to perfection, the totopos (wrongly called "chips") are crispy and flavorful, just the way they're supposed to be. The black beans taste like in Mexico! Highly recommend the Brunch menu. SERVICE: The service is always fantastic. The hostess, Amalia, has the best smile to welcome you, every time. The food came fast even on a Sunday when it is crowded. We didn't have to wait. We were seated immediately. Great place for a family gathering on Sunday.

Sometimes you get so excited about the food, you forget to take pictures. Well that happened. The service was great. I had the green chicken enchiladas. The green sauce was so good. Everything was seasoned well. It wasn't too salty. The salsa has a nice kick. The rice and beans were very good. Our food was ready on time and they brought everything out quickly. They have a nice patio area. Anamias will be on our repeat list.

My server Esteban is one of the best servers. He was very courteous and helpful explaining the many different options on the Anamia’s Menu. He was also quick to bring out our drinks which is helpful when the chips and salsa were brought out. He took our order and asked if we had any questions about our selections. I know, I know this should be standard actions in all restaurants but believe me I have been to high end restaurants and this does not happen. So I consider these actions outstanding. Most of all, my meal’s temperature was hot and tasted delicious. I couldn’t help smile as it was plated beautifully. Everything was excellent.

Our servers were excellent. Food had great flavor and the atmosphere is relaxing with a classy feel to it. He menu is large with many choices. Drinks were excellent and strong (in a good way).

We arrrived without a reservation on a Friday night. There was an obvious wait, but since we were only two, we probably didn't even actually wait 5 minutes for a table. Were were sat in a banquet in the bar area. Overall this place is very well built and decorated. It has an elegant feel that is not pretentious and feels very open and comfortable. I did note the way they constructed the ceiling, which sounds weird but here's why: This buildling is part of a strip building and so has a very high roof. Rather than dropping in a ceiling, they left it open all the way up. All support structures, lighting fixtures, sound system, etc. are painted black but the cool part is that they installed sound absorbing insulation on the roof and it makes a world of difference in the overall sound level (din) in the restaurant. Even though it is completely open concept and it was packed that night, it was still very pleasant and comfortably quiet for conversation. We were greeted promptly and we asked for a queso. Chips, salsa, and the queso came quickly and all were very good. I particularly like the tortilla chips. The thickness was just right: thick enough not to break in salsa or queso, yet not too thick to be overwhelming. I did ask for a soda and it was served in a can with a glass of ice. OK, that is so odd for a place this nice that I can only assume their fountain was broken. It made no difference to me and I didn't even ask. We had the Pollo con Hongos and a combo dish. Everything went very smoothly, the food came out quickly, and everyhting was very well done, nicely presented, and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom chicken dish. The portion was large and I had plenty left over for a next-day lunch. Overall this experience was wonderful and I am looking forward to visiting again. Great date night spot. Lively enough to be really fun, but to loud to have an intimate dinner.

Absolutely amazing experience. Great service, and food. We got the la parillada fajitas Full Order and the quality was fantastic! Beef, shrimp, and chicken fajitas were perfect. We got the flan for dessert, and the consistency was perfect. The caramel outside is complimented well by the strawberries on top. I highly recommend. I've been going to the one in Coppell for yrs, but the Southlake one is my new favorite. Southlake has a way better experience with service and Atmosphere and I will be back!

The food was pretty good. I got the fajita chimichanga and was disappointed it didn't have cheese inside like all the other restaurants I go to. My wife isn't a fan of refried beans with whole beans in them and they didn't have much flavor. The rice was really good and the portions were good for the price.

Good eats. First time with friends, heard of it for a while. Not too busy for early Saturday evening. Tableside quacamole was huge! Margaritas were good. Recommend you give it a try.

Anamia's was really good. The restaurant was clean and the food was fresh and very delicious. Would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're looking for Mexican food. They offer indoor and outdoor seating also.

Solid spot for some good, home style Mexican food. We ordered some table side quac; I had Machaca from the weekend menu and my lady had the chilaquiles, both were very good. I also got a tamale with chile con carne for myself on the side, I would definitely have another one of those. Appropriately priced for the area as well, plus $3 mimosas on Sun. Definitely a spot to check out if you’re in the area.

The service was very slow. The waited didnt communicate well and couldn't understand i was ordering a chicken chimichanga and kept trying to write up chicken fajita chimichanga. The chicken in the chimichanga was over cooked and under seasoned. Then the waiter brought the checks and it had a mistake and it took a very long time for him to fix it and come back making us late in leaving.

We had a ruined business dinner with a horrible waiter. What a shame not to even get refills in water and have such a rude server. I finally reported the experience.
