Great service by a smiling staff who appear to actually LIKE their job! It's refreshing. Ali is an extremely attentive server who was on top of our orders, making sure to stay while I cut my steak to make sure it was cooked correctly. Ali even remembered us from a previous visit and that we get a military discount. Erika, management staff, came around often to check our needs as well, with a smile and a giggle that just lifts one's spirit. Erika was cleaning a table behind us and overheard my husband softly singing "I want my babyback, babyback...ribs. Chili's baby back ribs" and Erika chimed in with "and bbq sauce." We all had a great laugh with her participation. The food was great, but not high end like a steakhouse. The service timing of food hitting our table was so fast that my husband hadn't even started on his salad before his ribs arrived. Everything was prepared perfectly, even with our quirky subs and additions to our orders. Great experience and we'll be back again soon.

We had an amazing experience at Chili's in Spring Branch! We started with chips and salsa, then tried the Triple Dipper appetizer platter, and the Nashville Hot Chicken—which was hands down the best food we’ve had in a long time. What really stood out was the service. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made the whole visit so enjoyable. The team clearly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. If you’re looking for great food and outstanding service, this Chili's is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

Noon on Tuesday. We were told there was no longer lunch plates or half orders. We spent over $55.00 for 2 people. No alcohol. Getting ready to leave, speaking to waitress about the large amount of food and cost. She says you can order 1 item and have it put on 2 plates. Okay why where we not told that until after we had paid. JFYI. There is another option. Food was good. But way to expensive for a Tuesday lunch.

Staff was kind. Waitress was polite. The manager was competent. They went out of their way to put the soccer game one for us. The waitress was patient with my non English speaking parents. She was good about checking on us without coming every 5 seconds. She was knowledgeable and brought everything out quickly. The food was good. My parents enjoyed it. Thank you for the good experience. The only con was that the water tasted nasty. The cups smelled bad. The bartender should have never given me such an ugly lime. If you're paying for an $8+ margarita. It should be presentable.

Our waitress was very attentive, and I regret that I can’t remember her name because she truly did a great job. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of our visit along with chips and salsa. I was so glad that the chips were cooked evenly and wasn’t overly salted. Chili’s has clearly made corporate-level changes to its menu, ingredients, and/or preparation standards, and the decline in quality is impossible to ignore. We ordered fajitas with shrimp, chicken, and double beef, and the meat was drastically different from what Chili’s has served for years. The beef had an odd, dry, cardboard-like texture with almost no flavor. The chicken and beef both tasted as though they had absorbed the shrimp flavor, suggesting poor quality control and improper preparation. The shrimp seasoning tasted more Cajun than fajita-style, and all three proteins were overcooked. This points to inconsistent cooking standards and a lack of attention to product quality. The food was bland, poorly executed, and completely unappetizing — a sharp contrast to the Chili’s brand many longtime customers remember. The atmosphere further reflected this decline. Seating felt cramped, with tables placed too close together, making the dining experience uncomfortable. When a restaurant chain makes widespread changes without maintaining consistency, flavor, and quality control, it erodes customer trust. Unfortunately, Chili’s no longer delivers the quality or experience it once did, and this visit confirmed I won’t be returning.

Where do I start? We are not from the San Antonio area at all. In fact, we're from Missouri. We were traveling for our Anniversary and New Year. January 1st is actually our anniversary and since we couldn't have a Mexican dinner and margaritas like we wanted because they were all closed we settled on Chili's. We were greeted fairly quickly and sort of ushered to a table right by the entrance. Ok, no big deal. The place wasn't overly busy but there were definitely a few tables occupied. Our server came over within a few minutes and got our drink order. When she returned with our drinks we hadn't yet decided what we wanted to eat so we asked for a couple more minutes. About 10 minutes later she reappeared and took our order. We decided we would split 2 appetizers. A dipper combo and chips and queso. Within a few minutes the dipper combo arrived. No chips or queso. We thought maybe they were making the queso or they had forgotten it in the kitchen and expected our server to deal with it. Well... she came by the table 3 times while we ate. Once to fill our drinks, once to take away our plates, and another to ask if we wanted anything else. We said no. At this point we didn't even want the chips anymore even though they were the one thing I ACTUALLY did want this night. As she's showing me the self pay kiosk on the table she's explaining that she gave us a credit for the chips and queso. No explanation of why we didn't get them, no apology about us not getting them: just here's your discount. Turns out... it wasn't the whole amount. So, she left to have a manager fix it. We got the discount and paid the bill. However, there again was no explanation or apologies for the forgotten food. No offer to get it for us to take home... NOTHING! Also, while we were still eating my wife witnessed a manager chastising am employee for standing around. That's something you do in private not in front of customers. From then on, we never saw another member of management so we couldn't report any of this at the time. Very disappointed. I expect WAY MORE from Chili's. This is the worst experience we've ever had at ANY Chili's location we've been to nationwide.

Ordered dinner via delivery. Ordered Cajun chicken pasta and another entree. Received Cajun SHRIMP pasta and another entree. Highly allergic to shrimp. Called restaurant. Manager could not have been any worse. She didn’t care at all that our dinners were not edible, kept interrupting. Wanted to give me gift cards. Why would I want gift cards for a place that pays no attention to detail and has lousy customer service? Since the shrimp entree could not be eaten, the other person didn’t feel right eating their meal so both went straight out to the garbage.

I came here in between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm on December 26, 2025. As I thought that I give Chilis another try but they failed me again. I came in, sat at bar where the lady that was working the bar I think her name was Katelyn as according to my receipt. So I asked her if there chip machine warmer was working and she said yes. So I had ordered the 3 for me were I got chips/salsa, tea and the big QP burger which I never heard of. Then I asked the lady at the bar why is it called the big QP burger. She stated that she did not know and said that she just works there. As I had senn the whole time that I was there she was just chatting with another female server and not paying attention to her customers at bar. There was an older couple there that she didn't provide good customer service too either. When my chips and salsa came out the chips were cold (Come on Chilis as your not doing so well with your food and service at all. All of the Chilis restaurant that I have been to, the chips are cold and the servers told me the chips warmer machines never work. Then my Big QP burger as I'm not sure what I ate but it was not cook all the way at all. My tea glass was empty and I kept on slurping the straw yo get Katelyn attention to get me some more, but she was just conversing with the other female server. So then I saw a guy greeter walking around and had asked him to get me a refill and he did. So corporate Chilis you really need to hire people that will provide better customer service or train your employees better. The older couple was trying really hard to get Katelyn attention to get some to go boxes bit she was still conversing with other server ignoring all of us. I finally got her attention to cash me out as I was paying with cash. So I gave her a $1 plus some change as a tip, but in all actually I just wanted to give her a penny and leave it upside down but I couldn't find one. I am enclosing pictures and my receipt copy that I had got. But in all actuality I tried to give Chilis another chance and benefit of the double but I will not be back at anymore Chilis.

It's a cold, drizzly day here in Bulverde, TX - the kind of day tailor-made for one thing: a hot, comforting bowl of Chili's chili. You know...the namesake, the heritage, the reason for the season. So I stroll into Chili's, already mentally hugging that bowl of chili like a long lost friend....only to discover: THEY. DISCONTINUED. THE. CHILI. I'm sorry, what? Chili's without the chili? That's like IHOP without pancakes. Like Starbucks without caffeine. Like Texas without unsolicited opinions. I stared at the menu, waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop out and tell me I'd been punked. Instead, the server - bless her heart - confirmed it with the same solemn tone doctors use to deliver bad news. So there I sat, chili-less and spiritually empty, nibbling on something else I can't even remember because grief clouds the memory. Chili's, please. I'm begging you. Bring it back. Your name depends on it. My soul depends on it. Bulverde depends on it. Until then, only 1 star, and I kindly ask you to change your signs to read " 's " for the time being.
