Everything was AMAZING, Tom served us and was so welcoming friendly and helped pick the nicest cocktail for me!! Every starter and main was 10/10 we love it here! Thank you :))

First visit of many. A few cocktails at the bar before our table was ready, the Pornstar Martinis are the best we've had! The menu had plenty to choose from with very reasonable pricing options. Wish we could have tried everything but we'll definitely be back for more. Starters were delicious, steaks were delicious. Desserts were also yum, menu doesn't do them justice, order what sounds good and go with your gut instincts. The pear tart was amazing!

Great place in Standish! Went there the other week and really enjoyed Sunday roast and the atmosphere, bar area and terrace are lovey too. Highly recommend for a nice evening and catch up with the friends and tasty food!

Absolutely stunning place to eat or grab a drink. The staff are amazing, very accommodating and the food is unreal, drinks are a good price and they have plenty of food and drink options. Our waiter Morgan was kind and thoughtful during our experience here. Would definitely come again and recommend to everyone.

An excellent New Year’s Day meal this evening. The surroundings are perfect, and the restaurant is beautiful with everything wonderfully presented. Our food was superb—10 out of 10. The service from Jack was outstanding; he recommended excellent dishes and paced our meal perfectly. We will definitely be returning. A big thank you to Jack and all the staff at Albert’s Standish!

Our daughter’s 25th birthday, we’ve been a couple of times before, thoroughly enjoyed our evening! Mike T was our server, he looked after us really well, so friendly & helpful, a credit to Albert’s. The food was lovely, well cooked & tasty, although the duck spring roll was a little small for a starter, the ham hock terrine was yummy! Fish & chips was ample, as was my daughter’s Moules Frites! One of her favourite dishes, so a happy girl. Desserts were nice to finish off, although I do wish I’d had the profiterole, it looked really nice, my daughter said it was. This is one of the nicest, if not the nicest set menu Albert’s has offered. The atmosphere is fab & such a nice place to sit & chat whilst enjoying the lovely food. Thank you for a lovely evening, we will be back 😊

We had James (trainee) for our work Christmas do tonight and I honestly can't say anything but positives, our server was so friendly, helpful and overall amazing. He put up with my boss and that means a lot because she's very friendly. The food was gorgeous and I'll definitely be coming again.

Albert’s Standish is a beautifully stylish wedding venue and relatively new addition! It's contemporary, elegant and full of character and really great space to host! I've captured a few weddings here as a content creator, and the interiors, lighting and atmosphere made every moment feel effortlessly refined on camera. The team were professional, attentive and a pleasure to work with each time I've been there :)

Our server Alex was absolutely delightful and so attentive. He is a credit to alberts and made our experience so lovely. The food was sensational and we couldn't fault it. Will definitely be recommending and coming back again.

A surprise visit and well worth it. The venue is beautiful with ample parking. The food was delicious and the staff impeccable. Jackie was such great fun and served us diligently.

Came to Albert’s for the first time today and was so impressed - the food was incredible and so was the service, in particular Michael was brilliant (Magic Mike the Scotsman) would definitely come back

The good was delicious, whipped goats cheese and courgette bruscetta was insane and the dolphinoise pots. The staff were excellent. Niamh was great and very funny when we asked her advice. Alex was really kind and attentive. Thank you so much.

This place is amazing! Beef was excellent, We were served by Aga, she is great person, she is very passionate about givig the best experience. Everything was so.proffesional. We will come back, and suggest to everybody.

Went for lunch today with my grandparents, mother, sister and niece and had a lovely time. The food was really good but the service was excellent from our waitress Ashley. She was patient, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. She really is a credit to the restaurant. Thanks for putting up with us Ashley, my grandad had the best lunch in a long time and you made his day.

We went for New Years Eve lunch as a family. The food was divine, I had the little beef pie, rump steak and apple pie parcels and it was all out of this world. Service was perfect, all the staff were very happy and attentive. It was my first visit and I will most definitely be returning.

On Friday 25th of September, after a Church Wedding ceremony we have invited our Families - 11 of us in total + a high chair - for a nice meal to celebrate our new marriage. We were promptly sat on our table which was situated at the end by the kitchen, very lovely table. We were served by Alex - a big shout-out because Alex has made us feel so special, was so nice mannered, very professional and super kind. For our starters people had meatballs, asparagus with salmon and everyone was blown away with the food, so tasty! There was a person with a Celiac in our party and she was very well taken care of by manager and the menu had given her a plenty options too, she was very happy :)For our meals a lot of us had steaks, which were incredible, perfectly cooked and very high quality meat. Overall the service was very quick, food was very high quality and we felt well taken care of. It was a perfect day for us and we're so happy we have chosen Albert's to celebrate our big day :) again massive thanks for Alex especially and for all the other servers. Great place and we will definitely be coming back!

Great venue to host a party, easy to deal with and food is amazing. Would recommend hosting a party here, staff was friendly and dealing with the event team was a breeze! 10/10 thank you to Kyra from the events team!

Staff are were attentive & courteous the ambiance was as excellent. Would recommend to others my family were in agreement served by Tom for Sunday Roast. The place is well managed the team work is evident the passion exhibited by waiting staff reflects a team that enjoys their work. A first good impression entices customers to return.

The food was incredible! And the server jack was fantastic!! Even though he was very busy he was lovely and looked after my partner and I for a memorable valentines day

Been to Albert’s here several times now, including last night for a meal with a small group of friends – the ambience, food/drinks & service are always top notch, & as was the case again last night. It may initially sound contradictory to the above, but surprisingly when my steak arrived last night, it was quite overcooked. That said, the way the team handled it was genuinely brilliant:- I mentioned this to the waitress who sorted a replacement straight away, management themselves came over to apologise, brought complimentary chips while I waited, then replaced the full meal. They even knocked 50% off the dish on the bill at the end & thanked me again for my patience. Basically, the team at Alberts went far above & beyond to make sure we were looked after & hugely exceeded my expectations. When things don't go as planned you can sometimes walk away from a meal out feeling a bit disappointed, in this case I'd argue that I've actually come away feeling more positive than if everything had just gone to the normal standard, as this experience really showed just how much care & attention the team clear have for the customers. Will be back in the very near future!

My husband and myself, together with 2 friends visited Albert's Standish recently. Whenever we visit Albert's we know that we will be welcomed in a modern, yet classic establishment, by friendly polite staff, in a relaxing atmosphere, with good music, lovely food, great coffee, and we can hear ourselves speak without having to shout above the music. On our visit we were welcomed by Wayne, the Duty Manager. He was really warm, friendly, and professional, and he treated us like we were returning friends. He showed us to our table, and left us in the capable hands of Ethan, a member of the bar staff. What a delightful young man Ethan is. We were very impressed with his customer service skills, and his kindness. His attention to detail was evident, as was his polite conversation, and attentive manner. Nothing was too much trouble for Ethan. He ensured that we were happy with our orders, and he regularly attended our table. What a Star! It is due to staff like Ethan that we keep returning to Albert's at Standish, trusting that we will continue to receive the customer service we have grown to expect, and continue to experience, from this restaurant.

Sky served us, she was extremely helpful with our table and so was the kitchen manager. We had a party with a severe nut allergy and this was took extremely seriously as it should be . I was very impressed with how thorough they were cleaning the kitchen, glasses etc. 100% the best place I have dined for allergies in a long time. I cannot compliment the service enough

Came for sunday lunch. First visit. Food was delicious, (vegetarian, pescatarian all happy, and Sunday roast enjoyed by others). Service (Aga) was fantastic. Lamb roast and seabass stand out dishes. Looking forward to a second visit soon

Had a lovely 70th birthday party at Albert's in Standish yesterday. There were 13 of us. The service was excellent the staff were attentive and the food was delicious. We all enjoyed it and it made my day. Thank you Chris James

I recently visited Albert’s Standish for my birthday after my girlfriend surprised me with a meal there, and I have to say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and had that special Sunday vibe — lively but not too busy, just perfect for a celebration. The customer service was excellent; the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome without being overbearing. The food was spot on — everything was cooked beautifully and full of flavour, from the starters right through to dessert. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients and presentation. It’s a lovely place for any occasion, whether it’s a special event or just a nice meal out. I’d definitely recommend Albert’s Standish to anyone looking for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning!

A great family birthday meal The gentleman steven greeted us on arrival he was warm and welcoming I noticed he had a training badge and he’s certainly good , efficient and funny Seated inside at the glass the table was light and away from the main part of the restaurant like I’d requested in the notes my nan was also dining so had asked accessibility and they went to the trouble of ringing to check if the slightly higher seats would be ok , excellent touch Our server Alex was young , charming and displayed excellent service throughout , well timed , had drinks on seating and asked if everything was ok plus it was my birthday in which they wished me well and a special touch a Candle in my dessert A lovely touch again The food was great value we dined the lunch deal on a Saturday (12-3 or is also on during the week ) that featured 2 courses for £15.95 or you could have 3 for £19.95 It offered a variety and catered to all my family enjoyed the steak and chicken pie and as I’m vegan had a separate menu in which I chose the nourish bowl which was full of colour great portions and well cooked Finished with dessert of cherry crème brûlée and a cherry non dairy sundae for myself , a lovely mini version to end the meal sweet The little details made the difference As I had once been before with my mum and it was during a busy period , different seating and completely different vibe Glad we returned and have a great memory We would return

Went for the Sunday roast. Excellent quality and taste. Chicken, vegetables, mash & roast potatoes. Gravy was super. Would have liked a little more chicken as it was very good but slightly small portion. May need to go for the platter for two next time. All the staff were very attentive but not overly so, just got it right. Shout out to Morgan our server....very good !

Large restaurant, nice decor. It also has function rooms. We went for 3-15pm afternoon tea. It was very busy and too noisy for me, even with my hearing aids taken out! The service was good, staff very nice. It is a cashless venue. We had to book and pay in full 48hrs in advance. It has a large car park at the back. I'm not sure if there's a quieter time to go. It was Saturday afternoon. I'm not sure that I would go again for that reason.

We spent NYE here, paying £80 per person, and honestly, it was a mixed bag. Here’s the breakdown: The Good: The venue looked lovely, staff were attentive, and we didn’t wait long for food or drinks. The fireworks were fantastic, and the table settings were really nice. The Not-So-Good: The atmosphere was chaotic and stressful. Having another party in a separate room meant security guards were constantly running around, and we had to share toilets with the other group. It got so bad that security was stationed in the toilets, and there were even police cars outside. We were hoping for a relaxed sit-down meal with music, but instead, it felt like a completely different vibe due to the unruly behavior of some attendees. The live music was disappointing too—it was tucked away in a corner, barely audible, and by 11 PM, it was replaced by a DJ that turned the whole place into more of a nightclub than a restaurant. The Food: The starters were poorly thought out, and no one at our table of four enjoyed them. Desserts were unimpressive—just store-bought cakes thrown onto plates with no effort at all. While the mains were okay, the portion sizes were tiny, especially when it came to veggies and sauces. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for the price. Based on the glowing reviews and the venue’s reputation, we expected much more—but this time, it was a miss.

A nice setting served by some great staff, (Jake was very supportive) but for us, this is only average food and not a true restaurant, it's a bit like posh fast food It has very fixed and inflexible menu options. The broccoli and cheddar soup was served with a swirl of chilli oil, (not mentioned on the description) The fried fish in this image was small and had a very thick batter. The chips were dry and powdery Many people like this venue and we can understand why, but the food didn't work for us.
