Got the godfather hero, pasta salad, and a cream soda. The cream soda was really good and vanillay! The pasta salad was also very good. The hero was massive and a bit too fatty for me but really good quality meats and cheeses and good sandwhich overall just might try something different next time
Oh my god. This sandwich is something special(The A.G.V). I’ve had a few of their sandwiches and each one was delicious. Great ingredients, very large sandwiches filled to the gills. The bread is perfectly tender without being too crispy but strong enough to keep all the ingredients inside and not be soggy. Can’t wait for the other location to get more options like this location.
Got the sandwich for doordash cuz I'm all the way up in the North shore... so I can't really judge the atmosphere and the service but I'm thinking they deserve a five-star for it anyway. I'm a big guy I'm a fat boy and I got to tell you this was one of the best sandwiches I ever had in my life I live in the North shore and it's difficult for me to come down there but dude I finally splurged on the PANINO MORTADELLA These are not sandwiches these are gourmet meals! Thank you for such an amazing meal my friends and especially to you Antonio! it's a good thing you're not too close to me or I'd be like 600 pounds lmao!! Best of luck in the future, like you need it lol!
First time trying Anthony’s. I must say amazing experience all around. The girl at the front register was so nice, the sandwich making guy in the back(who I thought was Anthony himself but I didn’t know) good personality. The inside looks spotless, great decor, and felt very cool inside. I got one of Thursday specials which is the Porchetta with the crispy skin! It comes with broccoli rabe and fresh smoked mozzarella. I must say this might be the best pork sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Great crunch to the skin, very flavorful, the broccoli rabe is a great complement and the mozz is also a great addition. Best sandwich on Staten Island. We also tried the rice ball with and without meat, and the potato croquettes. Might be best on the island. So fresh!! I can’t wait to go back to try the others(except Thursday because Thursdays you know what I’m getting!!!) Anthony you out did yourself!! My score 10 out of 10
I have had so many schiacciate all over Firenze. His schiacciate go toe to toe, if not better than the “famous panini” shops in Firenze. This man has by far the best sandwiches on the island and maybe the east coast of the U.S. Disregard anyone who complains about pricing. You 1000% get what you pay for. Want a cheap sandwich go to Wawa in Jersey.
I’ve always believed in the magic of the muffuletta—a sandwich so unapologetically indulgent, it’s practically a religion in New Orleans. At Central Grocery, the birthplace of this olive-drenched masterpiece, it’s almost sacred. So imagine my surprise, here on Staten Island—a borough I know has its culinary treasures hidden among the strip malls and suburban sprawls—to find a muffuletta that challenges the original. Anthony’s Paninoteca isn’t trying to be fancy. It’s not chasing trends or Instagram glory. It’s a small place with big smells—roasted meats, fresh bread, and that unmistakable tang of vinegar-soaked olives. You walk in, and it feels like you’ve stumbled into someone’s nonna’s pantry. The kind of place that knows exactly what it’s about and makes no apologies. Then, the muffuletta arrives. It’s hefty, as it should be. The bread—house-made, golden, with just the right crust-to-chew ratio—isn’t trying to steal the show but knows its role as the backbone of the whole operation. The olive salad…oh man, the olive salad. It’s briny, garlicky, with just enough acidity to cut through the richness of the meats. Speaking of which: the mortadella, salami, ham, and provolone are layered like a symphony. This isn’t a chaotic pile of deli scraps—it’s precision, balance, an ode to everything a muffuletta should be. And here’s the kicker: this muffuletta isn’t a copycat. It’s not a pale imitation of Central Grocery’s legendary creation. It’s its own thing—familiar yet distinct, like a great jazz cover of a classic tune. It respects tradition but knows how to riff. Anthony’s Paninoteca has pulled off something I didn’t think was possible: a muffuletta that holds its own outside of Louisiana. It’s a reason to take the ferry, to make the drive, to rediscover Staten Island’s culinary underbelly. Because if you’re chasing flavor, authenticity, and just a bit of audacity, this little shop is where you need to be. Would I come back? Hell yes. And I’d bring a bottle of wine to share with Anthony. Sandwiches like this deserve a toast.
Just ordered from Uber Eats. WOW. Amazing sandwich. Really well done. So tasty
Small shop, with a constant flow of customers. Everything was made to order and looked delicious. I got the eggplant parmigiana platter and it was great, generous and fantastic. I can’t wait to return.
Absolutely love this place. Some people might consider it pricey, but for the quality of the ingredients, I think it’s a steal. Also the sandwiches are big. It your trying to be productive after lunch, I’d say you can safely split a sandwich and be good. I’ve tried a bunch on the menu, the Anthony is my go to tho. Also the bread is amazing!
Catered for Father's Day dinner, and everything was phenomenal. My husband loved it. Anthony and his niece are the nicest people and truly helped make this Father's Day special. Highly recommend !
The staff at Anthony’s was super nice and even offered samples of the pastrami while our sandwiches were being prepared. The Pastrami Rye sandwich was good albeit was a little dry but the flavor was on point. Can’t wait to their other sandwiches!
Go here and get the Anthony sandwich on the days they make the crispy porchetta and I promise it will be the best sandwich you have ever had in your life. The prices are not cheap but this guys food is worth every penny. It's an absolute masterpiece, well done Anthony.
Great sandwiches. High-quality meats and ingredients. Upscale/clean space.

Sandwiches are a little pricey, but its well worth it. The portions are huge so you get what you pay for and way more. Best quality ingredients, great bread, everything super fresh. My go-to sandwich spot and would highly recommend
I wish I could give this shop 100 stars! The absolute BEST pastrami sandwich I ever had! Puts Katz to SHAME! I can't say enough good things about this shop you MUST visit! So much great stuff!
I catered from Anthony’s for my families Christmas party and it was outstanding! The mini sandwich platter was a hit with its assortment of savory combos for everyone and the potato croquettes and rice balls were the perfect side dish. Love this place and look forward to catering from them in the future.
Visiting Staten Island we stopped at Paninoteca and I gotta tell ya the Porchetta Sandwich blew my mind. Roasted Italian pork, smoked mozzarella, broccoli robe and a delicious crusty roll made this one of the best sandwiches I’ve eaten in quite a long time. If I’m ever in Staten Island again I’m gonna visit this shop and bring my friends and family cause it’s that Good!
This place has the absolute best sandwiches you will ever have in your life. The mortadella and Burrata sandwich is to die for. I cannot say enough good things about this sandwich shop and the owner Anthony is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet.

The absolute best sandwich shop in New York, I’ve been coming here for a very very long time, Anthony and Kalene treat me like family absolutely every time. All the recognition they get is beyond deserved. EVERYTHING IS 10/10 Definitely putting on for Shaolin
I went to Anthony’s Paninoteca ‘s on the recommendation of another sandwich shop that had closed. The owner of the sandwich shop told me to go to Anthony’s, that I would not be sorry. We were celebrating my husband‘s, my son‘s and my granddaughter‘s birthdays, at the carousel in Staten Island. my family all picked sandwiches from the other place, and Anthony and Kiki made the sandwiches exactly as the menu from the other place. They were very accommodating. They even delivered the sandwiches to the carousel for us. When Anthony Junior delivered the heroes to us, he gave us a box of cupcakes that his mom had made to celebrate the birthdays. The sandwiches Farr exceeded our expectations, the sandwiches were the best we ever had! We have found our new sandwich shop! Thank you Anthony and Kiki for your wonderful service!
Perfect sandwiches to take to the beach! It’s a small place, but a beauty. Clean and inviting with an extended sandwich list (both hot and cold). As a bonus, we had the potato croquettes, so good!! One hero was enough for two people to share (though we each got our own 😉)

The Anthony sandwich was excellent. This is a takeout place ( check your bag before you leave. They left out the dipping sauce and napkins. Excellent ingredients. With broccoli rabe , & potato salad $31.50, they should make sure the order is complete.
