My family and I ordered from them last night for dinner and I can't tell you how it was such a hit. Especially for my parents who are so freaking picky. The cuban sandwich was delicious! The pernil was mouthwatering good. My dad loved his chicken stew. Excellent Excellent Excellent. Will be ordering from them again! Update: went to pick up in person and the service was excellent. Very friendly workers ! Food yet again a hit ! We love this place!

Great food, I wish they'd fill up the rice & chicken containers better, I got a LG which was filled like a small & the rice was barely halfway full, I recommend trying everything, I personally didn't like the pastelles, but maybe it's an aquired taste, they also have great tres leches & chocolate cake.

I usually order on uber eats from this spot for as I really enjoy their beef stew with rice and beans HOWEVER I needed to write this somewhere cause — the last two times I ordered avocado with my meal, they aren’t cutting it ! First few times I got a half & they sliced it , first time I ordered a whole side & literally got the whole uncut avocado. I then ordered a half again today since they only seemed to slice halves for you & I got an avocado just cut in half, not sliced. Again lol. When I first started ordering it, they had it sliced already & packed. I don’t know why all of a sudden I’m not receiving it already sliced & having to cut up my own avocado before I eat defeats the purpose of my food being ready to eat right when I get it. If someone ordered this to their job & worked behind a desk, where do you think they’re cutting an avocado ?? Very inconvenient. PLEASE CUT THE AVOCADOS 😒

The quality of the food is great but It is sad that after multiple attempts I have gotten incorrect orders .I ask for no mayo Even after confirmation they send the wrong item. If u want something straight up its OK but anything custom might have issues.

Two drumstick with white rice and 1 soda for 19.60… I never think it would cost me that much . I can buy two order in Queens for this price…

I ate there today and I had the pernil they literally gave me the scraps from the bone and I knew they were gonna do that when they told me to sit down and I wanted to tell them I don’t want those scraps, it wasn’t even enjoyable! and I paid $20 for the plate and I said something when I checked out no response people pay good money to eat out they shouldn’t have to pay for crap they should always put out new and fresh

I live by the mall and I could’ve went anywhere else for Spanish food but a friend of ours recommended us this place. 20 Minutes away and we got stiffed with half portion food, we won’t be back tho.

The order I placed was not what i expected the beans were bland ,the pork was a small portion a few scraggly pieces there was more rice less meat the portion was what I feed my dog .For what I was charged it was not worth it .

Out of all the spanish restaurants on Staten Island, El Dorado is the cheapest, and I don't mean price! They NEVER fill up their containers anytime I have ever bought from them. I mean, how much does it cost to make rice, yet they don't fill up the container. Other restaurants (on Forest av, Bay St, Richmind Rd) fill their containers so much they have to push the lid down to close the container. I spoke to the employees about this in the past, but they are still skimpy today. Unbelievable.

I visited El Dorado Restaurant Bar & Grill with high expectations for their empanadas, but my experience fell short. I wasn't greeted promptly upon arrival and had to wait before being acknowledged. The hot plate food seemed old, so I ordered 2 beef, 1 cheese, and 1 chicken empanada instead. During payment, the owner struggled with the register and almost overcharged me, but another worker stepped in to correct the mistake. As I left, the cheese empanada dripped excessive hot oil onto my pants, which was unpleasant. Once I tried the empanadas at home, the cheese one had rancid oil, off-tasting dough, and the chicken empanada had a strand of hair. The beef empanada, though flavorful, had plastic inside, ruining the overall experience. In conclusion, my first and last visit to El Dorado Restaurant Bar & Grill left me disappointed. I recommend the establishment improves food quality control, enhances customer service, and invests in better air conditioning.

This place is ran extremely unprofessional. I placed a large food order for a private event. When the food arrived the large rice and peas came soaking wet with water inside the tray. I called numerous times and was given a run around. When the manager contacted me hours later and the party was completely over they offered me a credit. When I attempted to use the credit they claimed nothing was in the system regarding credit. But they were able to see I spent $450 on a food order and nothing could have been done. I have ordered numerous times and feel they could have made the proper calls to attend to this issue. I do not recommend them for large food orders as you never know what you will get. Finally dealing with a business that does not know how to deal with issues when they arise is not a place I would ever want to deal with or would ever recommend to anyone.

I don’t tend to write negative reviews. But server needs some training on costumer service or maybe that’s not the right job for her. This restaurant will lose costumers if that change is not made.
