Coming inside, we were greeted warmly by the staff and tended to us very well. I had a regular Bacon Cheeseburger with Sweet Potato fries. The food didn't take long. Average wait time. The atmosphere is a little old fashioned as is normal with many diners. Definitely not a bad thing. It's a family friendly environment and clean. My burger was good. I forgot to tell them to cook it medium, so I ate a well done burger. Good nonetheless. Food was good overall though and will visit again on a casual basis.

Been coming to Dakota for over rwo decades. Always, always, always a good choice when you're not sure what you want to eat or when you are craving something specific... their burgers are always great (I get mine with roasted garlic on top! OMG - so good!), Romanian Steak always perfect, Breakfast for Dinner, and so on. I've even had pasta dishes that are made better than restaurants that cost twice as much

I have breakfast here every Wednesday and it’s fantastic. The wait staff are super friendly and my coffee cup is never empty. They have 3 huge rooms for events separate from the diner itself just incase you want to hold any type of event. They accommodated any changes to the menu you make. Parking is easy they have their own lot.go enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Food was incredibly delicious they especially came thru big time I'm not sure why this whole town is so stingy and selfish but this diner def made me feel appreciated and delivered a great meal on top of it I wouldnt ever recommend spending ur hard earned money at these garbage businesses in Staten island but THiS diner I highly recommend u make an exception for u will not regret it

Decent diner food. Servers are very nice and welcoming. Location is outdated and could use a face-lift. At the end of the day it is a diner and serves it's purpose if you are looking for the traditional diner menu.

I cannot say that I was pleased. The service was good and I don't mean to be mean. Big Portions. I just didn't like it. 😕 The food was overcooked, I paid my bill I gave my 20% Tip but they really need to fix the air-conditioning and fix up the place.

Some tall doofy waitress scolded me after giving my mother's dog a compliment. I replied"that's not my dog" my mom was in the bathroom and i don't live with my mom. Which is why i told her that's not my dog. She berated me and told me i was a rude person. That is the staff that is allowed to work there? Staff that think they are the owners? I wonder how long the dinner will remain open for
