Definitely a 5 star cafe. I wanted to grab a decent breakfast and this place was just perfect. So many good and healthy breakfast options. Loved their oat meal - they did a good job with something as bland as oat meal. The cinnamon flavors really stood out. The tomato Basil soup was simple and delicious. Loved their coffee too. They are using some good coffee bean. Ambience was about average and service was pretty quick and fast.
Stopped by today for a quick coffee and some donuts and happy I did so! Mocha was delicious and their donuts are amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try other flavours and menu items!
Very good sandwiches and nice service!
A nice place that serves good breakfast. I got scrambled eggs with toast ($8) and they served it so nicely. The latte was great too ($5). Very affordable prices for downtown San Francisco.
I come here 2-3x a week since my office is around the corner. Love this gem of a place. Great food, great coffee and the same great ppl have been working here for years.
Yesterday I failed to eat breakfast or lunch. Today, I wanted a substantial breakfast. Cafe Bianco Googled up near the post office where I mailed off the last of two tax returns I spent yesterday finally getting finished by overruling a ‘tax expert.’ Nice space, lots of light, and available tables at 10 am. I am tempted to sit here and write for a while. At first, I was concerned that their excellent, simple but delicious menu would not leave me as stuffed as I desired. Then, to the side, I saw their special offering--bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwich on sourdough. Excellent. I am well-stuffed and satisfied. Good coffee in a great cup I'm tempted to steal...I mean... tempted to ask if I can buy. I shoveled it down so fast I didn't get a photo of the sandwich. But here is a pic of the great cup and the remnants of the sandwich. I'll be back, perhaps for a couple of hours of writing if I can get it in before they get crowded. Surely they get crowded at lunch.
Stopped in for a cup of coffee after searching for a coffee spot, which is a lot harder to find in this neighborhood than you’d think. The cappuccino’s were delicious, and hit the spot on a cold day. Perfect place for an afternoon pick me up.
I wasn't really sure what I wanted to eat for lunch, so I was browsing through Ritual and saw this place was nearby and wanted to try it. I got the Chicken Pesto Sandwich which came with pesto aioli, provolone, roasted peppers, arugula sun dried tomato on a dutch crunch bread. It was really good! The service was quick and very friendly. The decorations seems very cozy and a nice place to just sit. There was a decent amount of people just sitting and either working, reading, or having conversations while eating. There are lots of other things on their menu that I would like to try in the future. Highly recommended!
Great family run cafe, didn't get a chance to try their coffee, but got a Dutch crunch scramble egg and sausage, yum yum yum. Love this local gem that has a lot of history and great quality food.
This is my second time here in a week and it feels like the last long time family run spot in the FiDi. The family is so nice and accommodating, and the food is excellent and well priced. The ambiance is very New York feeling or older San Francisco. I will be back over and over again. The salads and wraps are excellent!

I love this place. I actually have a positive emotion when I know I am going here. I love the atmosphere and the food is just amazing. They have an upstairs balcony (that's actually open). The coffee is even decent! If you wanted to find a hidden gem, you've found it.
A classic cafe ! Walk in to the smell of crispy bacon and hot fresh coffee. Simple menu with options for everyone plus vegan options ! Delicious and fresh. Amazing value for money right in the heart of town
EXTREMELY CUTE and cozy. Simple menu that produces solid food and coffee. Really nice place to sit and relax
Absolutely everything was wonderful - the service top notch, the vibes were good, the lady got all customizations right…except…the oat milk. It was DISGUSTING. That’s NOT the staff’s fault, I still tipped them, but it tasted like a sweet rancid flavor that some of the worst oat milks taste like. It was so disgusting that I poured it down the drain, I couldn’t bear to drink it. I’m only reviewing it here so they consider replacing their supplier with something palatable, and also so that customers know that if they don’t want an oat milk drink this place will probably be absolutely wonderful! Edit: you guys are so kind! If you end up making a change in your oat milk I’d be MORE than happy to patronize the store again! But if not I don’t think I will (for obvious reasons) despite your real kindness! But thank you!

Came in late morning and had an avo toast with eggs! Place is nice and no frills. The food was good and flavorful, really liked the fried capers on the avo! Will def come back again.
Really friendly and warm staff. Cappuccino tasted a tiny bit burnt / bitter. A slightly lighter roast would probably solve it. The breakfast burrito didn’t have much flavor - the potatoes were mushy, the sausage was bland, and the onions and tomatoes (probably underripe beefsteak; cherry tomatoes would be better) were undercooked: it was altogether fine, but not memorable. The space itself is dated but in a charming Euro way that one doesn’t often find in SF.

Food and drink are okay. Location and interior are great. Had an egg & cheese sandwich on sourdough. Was pretty flavorless. Really could’ve used a sauce or spices and more variety in cheeses. The hot chai latte was a better experience but only just. A bit too watered down and only warm, not hot.

Breakfast burritos were tasty and well worth it; coffee was probably the worst I've ever had. Stick to the food.
I came here hoping for a proper barista-quality coffee — the photos and reviews looked great, with lots of beautiful latte art. Unfortunately, that’s not what I received. I ordered a Flat White, but what I got was the largest “Flat White” (really more of a giant latte) I’ve ever seen. A Flat White is supposed to be small and strong, not three times the size and mostly milk. On top of that, the coffee was extremely hot — so hot that I couldn’t hold the cup, even with the cardboard sleeve. It took about 15 minutes outside in the cold before it cooled enough to drink, which really affects the flavor and overall experience. I also ordered a Caesar salad with chicken to go, but that was disappointing as well. The chicken had almost no seasoning or flavor, the dressing tasted a bit off, and instead of real parmesan there were just generic shredded cheese pieces. Maybe if you come here without specific expectations, the experience might be fine. But based on the photos, I had a very different impression of what I would get — and unfortunately, it just didn’t match the reality. Overall, a disappointing visit considering the expectations set by the pictures and reviews.

Lack of respect for people’s time. Shop empty and yet had to wait about 20 minutes for a coffee and an egg wrap. Asked coffee to go but was given a cup so had to pour it myself.
