Great diner on the south shore of staten island. I forgot to take photos of our sandwiches this day but since i moved into the area I’ve been frequently visiting for lunch. So i can always update photos. Really good service friendly staff super clean and affordable. What a great place and as you can see not to many empty seats for lunch. And check out the cakes and other desserts.

I was looking for Halal restaurant in the island & the restaurant I found was closed on a weekday🤦‍♀️so I start walking & end up here. It’s beautiful, clean restaurant & the stuff & the owner were wonderful. They also let me know their chicken items r halal. So I tried that. Big portion of food which I could not finish. The dessert & coffee was great. The price of the food was great considering the amount of food I get. No complaints, I wish it was near my house. Takes a long time for me to go there from where I live. Overall I have a wonderful time & made a lot of Tiktok🤣

Was a little unsure because the parking was basically nonexistent. Place is big inside. Seated immediately. They brought over 2 minimuffins. Very nice touch! Portions were sizable. Pricing a little steeper than I'm used too, but we are in Staten Island. Food was great. Staff exceptional. I'll make it a stop every time I'm in the area...

Came here outside of peak hours around 9am on a weekday for breakfast with my son. Parking was easy, we were greeted at the door and promptly seated. The food came out super fast and was fresh. Everything was as ordered. We enjoyed the food and the short stay. The atmosphere was calm and establishment was clean. Would have been 5 stars but I dropped my fork on the floor and there were 4 waiters sitting near by who saw and looked but did not offer a new fork. No biggie I cleaned my fork and moved on. I would return.

Typical New York area diner with huge menu. Not especially impressed by our waitress, but the lunch was well prepared (two specials). Parking is a bit challenging.

Nice place, they seat you right away. The waiter is on top of his job and the is good. I enjoy having brunch here twice a month.

My go-to diner on this end of the island. Food; usually brunch/lunch; comes out hot and fresh. Coffee is good. Staff is friendly & service is good. Price is a good value for your money & they don't charge a fee for credit cards.

This Diner is a true delight with its classic vibe and hearty breakfasts. The staff’s warmth matches the hot, flavorful coffee. Service is OK in general but that’s after you find a seat. Try the corned beef hash with sunny side eggs or the generous meat lovers omelette. Despite the weekend rush, it’s worth the wait for a taste of local charm and satisfying plates. A true four-star morning treat!

There is nothing wrong with this diner but there is also nothing special about it. If you've been to any of the diners on Staten Island, this is exactly like those. There's nothing different on the menu and it's very basic. The service was good and the food was good but the coffee was just all right.

We ordered the Meat Lovers Omelette (overcooked), corned beef hash with fried eggs (delish) and a short stack of pancakes (tough and rubbery). Our server didn't bring butter and syrup and we had to flag down a bus boy. The eclair was very good. Won't come back for breakfast.

Cuban Cookin'

Come here about once a week. The food is generally good and most times the service is ok. However, tonight it was atrocious. I ordered 2 pancakes, got three. Asked for whipped butter, got cold butter. Asked for extra butter, got none. Asked for a coffee refill twice, it never came. Fifteen minutes later I am told that a fresh pot is brewing. I don't need it now that my three pancakes and eggs are cold. It isnt busier than usual, yet here I am still waiting for my check. Not a good experience tonight... at all.

I don't know what happened. They used to be the best diner around I used to go biweekly. I ordered a medium sized order (about 100$) and when I got home with it I realized they forgot my bagels everything. They gave me a toasted bagel wrapped in foil and that was it. I ordered a bagel deluxe (creamcheese, lox, onion) and got just a bagel. They charged me 20$ for a plain bagel. I went back and asked for them to make the bagel and they told me "that's how we do our bagels here" which is fine, if they had included everything with it. I am appalled that they charged me 20$ to make my own bagel when I could have gone to hot bagels on the corner and had the whole thing made for about 15$ Ever since covid this place has been a dumpster fire. They used to be open 24hr now they close whenever they feel like it. No wonder they have such a high turnover lately. It's a travesty what happened to this diner it really used to be one of the best on the island. They need to reevaluate what they're doing otherwise the whole neighborhood is going to stop going here. I know my family and I will not be returning.

Don’t plan on ordering anything past 10:15pm. The man who hosts at this hour refuses to take any orders past this time when the website clearly states “closes at 11pm”. I understand you can’t order at 10:45-10:50 because the kitchen needs time to close. I’m not the person who expects to get an order in 10 minutes before closing. But if you’re going to ignore all orders an hour before closing then just close at 10pm. ALSO, I have gone in there at 9:45-10pm (which is ample enough time to order something, pay, eat and get out by 11) and the manager/host (heavy set dark skinned guy with and curly hair) has mentioned upon 2 separate occasions that I need to be quick and that I may only enter and eat if I already know what I want, prior to coming in. Basically, if you go in at 10pm the guy WILL rush you out. Like I said, I get it if it’s 10:30 giving a friendly reminder that they are closing soon. Even if he insists on doing so within the last hour, I have no issue receiving that message. I’ve worked in the food industry before so I get it. But the guy is very aggressive, very persistent and borderline rude. Whoever owns this place needs to adjust their hours and TELL THIS HOST to adjust his attitude. Guys a piece of work. If you don’t want to be there or don’t like working the night shift, then quit. 10:00 is enough time to dine in and get out by 11 and 10:30 is enough time to place a pickup order, pick it up within 10-20 minutes and still be out for closing.

Walked in. Wasn't crowded. Asked if I could have a low booth. Manager in an ugly tone asked "low booth just for one?", walked out. Guy was obnoxious in the past too. Mike's Place has better food and that's not saying much.

We order here everyday for lunch - some days it's great most days atleast something is messed up.. This time there's a napkin or wipe IN MY SOUP how a business is sooo careless with their orders is beyond me. Just like Woodrow diner this one should close down when you just don’t care about your customers it shows
