I thoroughly enjoy ordering at sonic, because every time is a very great experience. There is awesome friendly service it’s quick and always yummy food.

Carhops are usually polite, check your food and drinks before you drive off though, I've had to turn back around several times these last couple of months.

The carhop who brought the order was very courteous and professional. Apparently, because my order was taking too long (just a few more minutes), so I got a coupon for a free large drink. The food was good, and the price was reasonable. If all of that doesn't deserve 5/5, I don't know what does.

I've never had a bad Sonic experience. Always quick out, delicious and hot. One of my favorite items at Sonic is the soft pretzels. The Sonic near my location, still has the country fried steak sandwich. Absolutely a must try!!!

The Sonic next to the Golden Chick is one of the best Sonic's I have ever been to! Amazing service amazing people! Always happy, and always go out of their way to try to make you smile! I worked there in my youth and the customer service standards that were very high when I work there are still the same! Really great reasonably priced quick fast food restaurant.

I love S'ville Sonic. We have been there countless times. The brown bag special is the best burger deal around. The employees are friendly. The service is fast. I don't have to get out of my car. What more can you ask. I suppose my only dislike is that they don't include automatically include ketchup with your order. I forget to ask for it.

I come to this location for happy hour at least once a week and I’m always impressed by the speedy service and polite carhops.

Paige had Wonderful customer in helping us with a mobile order mishap. She was prompt and helped us get it fixed even though it was for the other location. The other location was not helpful because that is where we placed the order and they said they had no record it was prolly the other location. They made us drive across town twice just to come back…

Very good for fast food, and it is fast. The burger was perfect with the legendary onion ring and the tater tots were cooked just right on the outside and in. I really wanted to go back for seconds.

Davey was our carhop today and he was cheerful and very polite! On our last visit Styl was our carhop and she was one of the best! Every time I've seen her there she has been extremely helpful with a great smile! She is the prime example of how a carhop can brighten someone's day with a simple smile & does her job wonderfully! We always have good service at this Sonic, even if there is a mistake they fix it quickly and apologize every time! By far the best Sonic around!

If you are trying to turn a bad day into a good one, look no further. The Sonic Drive-In across from campus possesses the ability to shut down every other restaurant in Stephenville, TX. This beauty is my saving grace on a day where I feel that all hope is lost. When I pull in and see the employees smiling faces, I know that everything is going to be okay. When I take that first bite of a #1 combo w/ mayo, no pickles, no tomatoes, and onion rings instead of fries, it feels as though Gordon Ramsey prepared this meal personally for me. I am so blessed to have access to such a marvelous establishment in this great big world we live in.

It’s not about the food. It’s about the staff that works there. We unfortunately dropped our phone while dining there. And we realized it after we were a couple miles away. We called them and they gladly retrieved it for us and walked out to the car and handed it to us once we arrived back there. To this staff who were not only honest but more than overwhelmingly grateful to hand it back to us.

Fantastic, friendly, fast service tonight. You can never go wrong with the Smashburger & their new(ish) crinkle-cut "Groovy Fries".

Sonic Drive-In is a staple fast food experience. The food is pretty good for the price you pay, but people are great and it's always clean and welcoming. Sonic's food is classic Americana fast food. While I'm always a fan of the chili cheese coneys, I'm not going to pretend the food is anything other than franchise fast food fair. I do think Sonic's food can be a little pricey for what they offer, but it's junk food, and it can be a comfortable option when you're having a bad day. Shout out their drinks as they do a good Dr Pepper, and the drinks are some of the most affordable options if you use the app. The service is stellar. The CarHops are always willing to make corrections or go grab something that you may forgotten to ask for, like a cup holder. And I've never had a bad experience talking to any person that works there. Finally, the atmosphere is very similar to any other Sonic. However, this particular Sonic should be noted that it is very clean and the music is played at a good volume. Overall, I'd recommend this Sonic. Just make sure you use the app to get the best deals.

This is one of two Sonics on Washington; I'd say the better one. Close to campus, hiring a lot of Tarleton students. Pretty good and quick service. They do the normal happy hour during the day (i think 2 to 4) as well as the one after 8pm.

It's the a typical run-of-the-mill Sonic.

Everything has always been good, but never been a fan of their fries. They will usually forget dipping sauce or condiments.

Everything tasted really good. The fried foods didn't have the dirty grease flavor like a lot of times before.

Hamburgers were good, but a few too many onions. Love their onion rings. Service was really fast.

Food was great, tater tots were super hot but that's ok. They were great. The girl that took our order and the girl that brought our food, maybe the same person, wasn't very happy/friendly. Hope her day got better.

This is a good Sonic. Food is always super fresh, staff always friendly too. Their burgers have the hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold and that's pretty rare these days. Always lightning quick. Never had a problem here and come here fairly often.

Good place for a quick bite. Employees always courteous. Sometimes this location leaves to much oil on the fried foods when they put it in the packaging. Goid location and easy to get to. Food is almost always very good, within reason for being a fast food establishment. Will continue to eat here.

I love sonic, I’ll try and order early sometimes though so I can get to work on time. Just a drink. Today I placed it to be picked up at 7:47AM. There is only one person running drinks, Shelby, and no one else. I’ve already witnessed one person walk into the store to ask for their drinks because they’ve been here longer than me. I finally got my order at 7:57. Shelby seemed stress and she did great. However, I hope the managers realize more people need to be put on the morning shift. This is a usual problem here at sonic. I never have a problem with the carhoppers, just the timing.

I had no inclinations that Sonic would be a Michelin rated venue. That said, I was really pleasantly surprised when I tried a Sonic Cheesebuger for the first time and found it VERY tasty! The service is efficient if not "speedy" but my food arrived hot and my order was correct. A win in my book. I'll be back in the future.

Time and time again they have gotten my order wrong or the food was old/cold.

To whoever made my garlic butter bacon burger around 2pm today. I hope you are doing okay. I feel like you are having a bad day due to the copious amounts of garlic I just experienced on my burger. It's okay. I have bad days too. You'll be okay. <3

Good prices, good service, but the food is small portions. Hamburgers are 3/4 of a normal hamburger. However, the food tastes good.

Depending on the day depend on how ur food is. One time is great then next time all the food is salty n orders not made to what was asked.

I usually do not have issues with Sonic other than when I order something like tots with cheese they do but put much cheese on them at all. This last visit was probably the worst yet. We ordered the new totchos and a crispy chicken sandwich. Everything fried has a burnt taste and was extremely greasy. I had a pool of grease when I was done with the tots. Nothing was actually burnt they just tasted bad. I feel like it may have been very old grease or something. We'll give them another try but if we have that experience again well drive to the other Sonic across town next time. On a good note the complex order was correct and the workers were very friendly.

Food is good, and service is awesome, but it's rare that they get the order completely right. If you're buying for more than 2 people, it should be standard to check every single thing you ordered before you leave, even if you didn't order anything special. They make good on mistakes every single time, though, so it's not too bad.

It would've been 5 stars because the carhops are always so quick and friendly, but today's experience wasn't so great. I ordered a Sprite with cherry, vanilla, and whipped cream. Nothing in this drink should look like what I found in mine. After inspecting it and having my husband look at this object, it looked to be a booger, yes a freaking BOOGER IN A PREGNANT WOMAN'S DRINK. Luckily, the manager my husband spoke with was very helpful and gave us a free one for the next time we come. But this still doesn't excuse what happened. How careless and disgusting do you have to be to put that in somebody's drink?

Food was decent the fries were over cooked and oil tasted old. Our burgers both had to be sent back due to them being completely wrong.make sure to check your order before leaving.

They usually do ok but today I made it all the way home and realized my order was incorrect. They are always nice though.

Worse service ever. Hostess was busy cleaning up. Waiter was slow and infrequent. Food was cold. Smoke alarm constantly blaring. May never go back.

I think location means everything when choosing whether or not a Sonic is good. The one off Washington in Stephenville is mediocre. Most of the time, the tots are over cooked and over salted. The drinks are more watered down than should be. Your hamburger patty may or may not be cold in the center. If you added jalepenos, they will most likely be all in the center instead of spread out.

So disappointed that they don’t offer the dirty drinks. They became our favorite things to order from Sonic.

The help turns over alot here, so I can only quess they don't treat or pay employees well here. No wonder they can't ever get your order correct! Go to Wendy's across the street.

Great food, but my issue has been that, more than not when I pay with cash, some of the car hops will give me back the incorrect amount and just walk off with my extra change or a dollar or two. They don't even count it out. They just give me a couple coins and a bill or two. Has happened way too frequently that it makes me not want to go back. Had carhops even count out my bills and ask me if I want it back and then still give me back less than owed. Extremely unprofessional.

Don't waste your money buying the Groovy fries on the app. Supposed to be a medium order and they'll give you a container that's 1/2 empty

The people are friendly, but every time we go, know one can here what we say and have to come outside to take our order, and most of the time it is wrong. The server had to come outside to check our order, she corrected it on screen, the receipt was correct, but what we got was what was wrong the first time.

Food quality has gone down tremendously plus not getting orders totally wrong. Probably the last time I will go there.

Staff is nice but my roommate and I got food poisoning last visit. She got the burger and I got the dollar menu. I have had food poisoning now for 2 and a half days and my roomie is finally feeling better but I am stuck in my dorm sick. Had to miss the candle lighting and first two days of class. Not going back 😐

They charge for extra groovy sauce which is fine but we should have had a total of 4 sauces and there were none in the bag so we paid extra and got nothing. If they want to play games and charge for extras they need to remember to put them in the bag! This location also their fries have a very specific grease taste unlike some other Sonic’s I wonder if the equipment is getting properly cleaned.

They forgot my chicken sandwich and we had to go back for it (it was hot thankfully). Our chicken tenders were cold and they also forgot the bbq sauce for them. They also forgot the marinara sauce for our mozzarella sticks. The bacon for the bacon burger we got was a clump of bits in the middle of the burger. Drinks were mostly ice, even the upcharged lemonade. Not pleased and bad enough for me to actually leave a review

Grilled cheese was smashed into the wrapper and the cheese was burnt and wadded up inside the break. My daughter loved the burnt cheese falling into her lap

They can't make a HAMBURGER to save their lives! Ordered a Hamburger, they brought a cheeseburger. Sent it back and they brought out another cheeseburger! Third time a charm. Don't know why but it's consistent across the state. Same thing happened in Austin, and Marble Falls.

Each time I order here they do not pay attention to what I say at all either they need to get an upgrade on their speakers or they should focus on what customers are telling them.!!! I have asked for my drink in a specific way and they don’t know what I’m talking about.! I have spoken to their manager and they said I have said it correctly in my order that he/she don’t understand why the staff are not doing the way I have asked for. Staff need to pay more attention on the orders and stop being in the phone during work hours.!

I first arrived at sonic at 5:45. I had ordered through the app before hand and pressed the red button so I could check in. I told the worker I had a mobile order and I would also like to place another order. Ten minutes go by, and a car hop brings out my second order. When she asked if there is anything else I need, I told her that there is also supposed to be a mobile order and she said she would go and make sure that it gets sent out. Another twenty minutes go by and still no food so I press the red button again. This time, the worker on the intercom was very unprofessional and rude after I told her the problem. My food gets brought out, soon after talking to the 3rd worker. All my food was cold and my drinks weren’t even 3/4 of the way full. I didn’t leave sonic until 6:25. ridiculous.

Got short changed. When I confronted them about it the girl brought me more change but it still was not correct. Then found hair in my food. The food was hot and fresh but I'm not eating that with hair in it. 🙄 Hair nets and counting change is common sense. Waste of money.

My chicken was burnt and more then likely served past its hold time it was chicken they already cooked and were holding and they just dipped it back in the fryer and served it like that. Seems like they let the water well where they hold their gravy etc go dry (no water) so the gravy was clumpy due to it sticking to the side of the pan and them just scraping it and mixing it with the rest of the gravy (that’s what causes the lumpiness) it had a burnt taste to it and a brown color to it. The toast bread was a piece they had already ran through the toaster and held it and re ran it through to warm it up and served it like that. I asked for sweet tea I got unsweetened. Didn’t get any of the condiments I asked for.

Asked for a regular hotdog with mustard and onions , and extra chili. After I got my order home, it was a mustard hotdog with onions. This is second time and I’m tired of asking to do it right. My elderly dad asked for this for super, and they want a tip for a poor job.

If I ask for freaking ketchup give me my ketchup, and especially if you ask any condiments then I freaking expect to have some in the bag!!! Will never eat here again

I love sonic...don’t get me wrong, but the past few times I have gone during the evening, whoever the cook is is not paying attention. I’ve received inedibly burnt corn dogs TWICE after asking to have it fixed and tonight I ordered Popcorn Chicken. I got nothing but fried flour with no chicken. Please pay attention whoever you are at night. This sucks.

The service was unacceptable. My app wasn’t functioning properly, so I pressed the button to request the standard half-off discount on drinks. The staff member responded rudely and refused, saying 'No.' As a paying customer, I expect the same service that is offered at every Sonic location nationwide, where the half-off discount is honored when the app malfunctions.

First time ever going here because I was given a 10 dollar gift card from my wife. Ordered a #4 with cheese fries and a drink. Total was $10.27. Gave the gift card and 2 dollars (17% tip). The server comes back and says the card doesn't work. Do I have another form of payment? So now I paid for a meal I never would have bought otherwise and am stuck with a worthless piece of plastic from the company that issues the card but won't take it as payment. Serious bull! On top of that, the soggy fries and burger were Meh, at best. I highly recommend you DO NOT eat at this establishment! Follow-up ... literally 8 months later... supervisor finally called me and left a message on my cell phone (not sure who gave her my personal phone cell number) to try to clean up their bad reviews. 8.months.later! There's nothing like doubling down on sorry customer service.
