After eaten too much spanish food for a whole week, we discovered this cute little italian restaurant 15 minutes from the beach. Although it may not seem as cheap as other spanish restaurants, they had a wonderful terrace (I would recommend to come in the evening, and don‘t forget to make a rsv). Great choice of dishes and good quality food. I would definitely recommend it and while you are there have a look at the Mont-Roig city while you are waiting for your food :-)

The most amazing Italian restaurant we’ve ever been to (and we’ve been all over Italy!). The food was amazing. the setting was beautiful, looking over a lovely old church and fountain, the owner is from Italy and she was so so nice and the staff were all amazing! 10/10!!

Gem of a restaurant. Lovely Italian food. Great service. Amongst the narrow paved roads of Mont Roig del Camp we found this quaint Italian restaurant. The food was superb. We are a family of 4, with two young children and the waitress, who spoke excellent English, helped us with choosing appropriate dishes from the menu. They even tailored a pasta dish for the kids. The focaccia bread is delicious, so we ordered two servings. Kids hoovered it down! It was out son's birthday, so we ordered the large dessert platter, and they even put the candle we brought with us on the cake. There is indoor seating, but we sat outside as it was warm and sunny. Parking is easy. There is free carpark 1 minute walk from the restaurant. We will definitely cone again next year when we return to the area.

Ciao, Really loved my Risotto. The young entrepreneur owner has really built a great offering in a lovely setting in the town. Nicest place we visited in this region as a group of cyclists. Bellissimo!

Great and atmospheric Italian cuisine. Meals are typically between 1-3pm and 7-9pm.

Delicious Food!

Beautiful little gem. You don’t expect a high end Italian in such a characteristic Spanish village. Products are great, and the same can be said about the execution of the dishes. For the high quality you get (this is not a tourist trap), you pay a fair price

Enjoyed lunch here while staying in Miami Platja and it was delightful. The Italian food was fresh, authentic, and flavorful. The restaurant is family owned and both the owner and staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We got the cheese and meat plate with olives, the Roman style speck pizza and finished with an assortment of beautiful desserts. The house made sangria was so refreshing as well as the Italian craft beers they carry. It’s only a ten minute drive from the coast and is most definitely worth it! Will be back again most certainly.

Lovely small Italian restaurant. We went mid week and had the 20€ menu. Everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and very attentive. Highly recommend.

Having just finished a tour of Europe I was not expecting the best restaurant to be in a small village near to Cambrils ( Tarragona). The food was obscenely good- from my daughter's spaghetti, my wife's cod, my brothers gorgeous pasta dish and magnificent steak, right up to my perfect Octopus. I cannot find a single thing I'f change. Amazing . Thank you

Great Italian food, freshly made. We have tried the home made pasta, the pizzas and the lasagna and all were like cooked by a nona in Italy. Not to mention the atmosphere and the little piazetta with the old church where the restaurant has a few tables.

Located on top of city landmark museum cathedral it's a lovely outdoor terrace with amazing cafe and pastry desserts and wide variety menu. Clean area with an Italian twist. It's relaxing to bike there right by the cathedral fountain. The service was fast and the caffe with nice foam decoration. A leather shop and mini supermarket neighboring. It's a quiet little village with spring and summer festivals must google Mont Roig festivals. Enjoy 😉

Fabulous food. We have been for lunch and dinner. Very skilled chef and superb service. Congratulations to Valentina for running such a wonderful restaurant. The best food for miles around.

Very good and different italian food, not just another tipical italian restaurant. Also the service was very pleasant. Having dinner at the terrace with the view of the old magnificent Church of Montroig was wonderfull.

Buen italiano, carta muy original y extensa en variedad, de entrantes, pastas, rissotos, carnes y pinzas romanas. Los entrantes de 10, pedimos carpaccio de pulpo, tomate de Barbastro con emulsión de ensalada, gildas y alcachofas a la brasa con burrata y trufa negra. De segundo, yo disfruté de un excepcional steak tartar y mi familia de spaghetti a la rueda y parpadelle a la trufa. negra. Es calidad sin duda, pero no puedo darle las 5 estrellas porque el precio me parece excesivo la verdad. Me han sorprendido estos precios en MontRoig, la verdad. Que sinceramente aunque estuviera en Barcelona pensaría lo mismo. Creo que harían bien en ajustar un poco los precios.

Excelente comida en una terraza con encanto a los pies de la església vella de Mont-roig y del portal d'avall. Nos salimos de los típicos platos italianos de pasta y pizza mil veces vistos para encontrar otras combinaciones perfectamente elaboradas.

Que pena que una comida tan rica, una terracita tan coqueta y un marco incomparable no se lleve 5*… pero… y teniendo en cuenta el precio, que no es barato, la exigencia es alta. Y el servicio, en nuestro caso, fue muy muy flojo. Primeramente, se olvidaron de anotsr nuestra reserva, por lo que tuvimos que comer en el interior (única mesa dentro). Vino; sin stock hasta la 3era botella que pedimos. Que por cierto, no rellenaron copa en toda la cena. Para coger nota; 25 minutos. Para que llegase el primer plato; 25 minutos (un carpaccio). Y así, hasta la finalización de la cena. Vimos varias personas entrar a quejarse. Y el asunto es que persomal, poco, no hay, pero claramente, les falta organización. Animo a que mejoren el servicio porque entonces si será un 5*, aun pagando 160 entre 3 pax por 4 platos para compartir, 2 postres, un vino y unas cervezas. No quiero dejar de agradecer los cafes y chupitos de invitación por el error de la reserva. Daremos otra oportunidad.

El menjar és bo i de qualitat, però el preu és excessiu. Especialment per les quantitats.... els preus de tot són massa elevats, per el que realment s'ofereix.... Vam anar a dinar dues persones, una ampolla de lambrusco, que personalment no em va agradar gens, ens va costar 20€, no era ni de 10€... excesimanet car, així com el "pa", 6€...una barbaritat.. no era res de l'altra món... El local és tan petit que em vaig sentir molt incòmode, no vaig voler girar el cap en ni a dreta ni a esquerra en cap moment...ja que les taules de la resta de comensals eren tan i tan aprop que no calia estirar el braç per agafar el menjar de la seva taula... Això sí que em va fer sentir molt i molt incòmode durant tot el dinar. Em volia demanar la pasta "rueda" acabada a taula, peró no sé com ho haguessin fet...ni hi havia físicament lloc per poder fer-ho... a sobre dels comensals de la taula del costat? Segurament pq no hi havia una altra manera. A banda, la poca distancia entre taules complicava la comunicació... Tot i que com ja he dit la qualitat del menjar és bona tot el que vaig probar era molt olios... El carpaccio estaba banyat en oli, especialment al centre del plat, que semblava una sopa d'oli... [ aixo si, vaig trobar a faltar el formatge...molt escas i finet... no en vaig notar el sabor en pràcticament cap mossegada.... ]i la pinza ibérica 3/4 del mateix, molt però que molt oliosa, tenir formatge, però tampoc massa gust a aquest... El pernil bo. El servei...va ser realment força lent, molt amable, però poc atent.... Van pendre nota de la comanda a la taula que va entrar darrera nostre mentre feia estona que esperàvem... Vam esperar i esperar i esperar....l'arribada dels primers plats que vam demanar i més del mateix amb els segons... inclús Vam tenir problemes per demanar diverses coses, ja que el personal no era visible a la sala per atendre les taules. El local és molt petit, si voleu estar a dins cal reservar. El dinar ensn va costar més de 60€ per cap... per l'ampolla de lambrusco, carxofes, i dues pinzes, "pa" i aigua. Amb aquests preus el servei i les quantitats haurien de millorar moltíssim. Esperava una experiència més bona, en tots els sentits. No hi tornàrem...

Lovely place, food high quality but over salted.

Molt bona la Pinsa, molt bons els Spaghetti alla Rueda i els postres però… un desastre el Risotto de gamba amb el seu tàrtar! Gens cremós, amb el gra sencer, dur i fred! En tornar el plat el tàrtar de gamba és substituït per unes gambetes (pel mateix preu!) però no ha millorat gens.. una decepció! Esperàvem una altra solució més enllà de convidar als cafès… I més en veure que en substitució del vi que tenien en carta a 21€ (11€ al celler) Sileo D.O Montsant (Garnatxa i Carinyena) ens van oferir el Sisquera D.O Terra Alta (Garnatxa i Syrah) que costa en celler 5€!!! Una veritable estafa!!!
