It was my first visit to this delicious barbecue restaurant, however... it will NOT be my last. The experience was wonderful. Great food, and EXCELLENT customer service, demands a revisit. My senior mom and I had the pleasure of dining here a few weeks ago. Being "East Texas" girls, we're frequently in search of really good barbecue. Well...we found a great location that's worth bragging about in this one. Mom and I both had the rib plate with a tasty choice of two vegetables. I chose the green beans and coleslaw. Wow...."Hats Off" to the PIT MASTER of the ribs, and the cook for the veggies. The meal truly made our day. The ribs with a tasty blend of spices for the dry rub was perfect! No barbecue sauce required!! However, if that's your choice, the sauce is excellent too. The dining environment was pleasant and kid friendly, and the price point was good. I'll definitely dine here again the next time I'm in town.

First time there and I’m from out of town, the food was amazing! Except for the Mac n cheese, it had a tang taste to it and didn’t like it, she did rectify it and got me different side that I asked to try which was potato salad and it was good. Overall my fave was definitely the apple cobbler and sausage along with the sweet tea! The bbq sauce was also good. Nice environment and friendly staff. Will definitely be back! Try ‘em out if you want some good bbq! I tried a piece of brisket from my friend’s plate and it was also delicious!

Geneen and I stopped off here to eat and what a great choice! We ordered 1/2 lbs of Turkey, brisket, and chicken. and a brisket sandwich! For desert we ordered the fantastic peach, blackberry and cherry cobbler! All of the meat is very moist and tasty and the bbq sauce is definitely BODACIOUS! we are The Couch Couple starting our own podcast soon! We recommend Bodacious BBQ to all of our friends and family!

Wish I could give it 10 stars! Staff was extremely friendly and the place was very welcoming. Brisket and sausage were excellent, sides did not disappoint. It checks all boxes for the Standard of EXCELLENT Texas BBQ. Can't wait to go back!

For a place that has many locations, I was really impressed. Even late at night, the food was prepared properly. The ribs and cole slaw was excellent quality. Baked potato was above average cooked with smoke flavor. I thought the potato toppings were lacking with imitation bacon bits and no chives at all. Pecan pie was decent at best. Ribs made up for any shortfalls. Would definitely return.

Ordered a bopack with 1 lb of brisket, half pound of sausage and two sides which I got as the coleslaw and potato salad. Service was really quick and fast. The brisket was tender but not quite as flavorful as some that I've had before and the sausage was one of the better sausages that I've had. The sides I really liked the potato salad and the coleslaw.

Just trucking, passing through! had to park in the back in the middle of the street and walk up witch is always needed since we set all the time. (not to 18 wheeler friendly)I had 1 meat 2 sides brisket, mac & cheese, and coleslaw I give it a 7 out of 10. Coleslaw one of the best I’ve ever had. I would recommend!

I had a 2-meat plate with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The meats tasted fabulous and so did the mac and cheese. To me the mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. The consistency was off and needed some butter. I love apple cobbler so I tried the apple cobbler. It looked great but the crust was a little to soft. The apples were firm but the filling was missing something. We came for the BBQ and will definitely be back for the BBQ.

This is a family owned restaurant and considered an institution in Sulphur Springs. They have a slightly confusing menu but the 2 or 3 meat plate is good start. I had the brisket, pork ribs and links. All very good. I had the potato salad and green beans as sides. Good, but not spectacular. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The sauce was ok. They also serve free soft serve ice cream! I would come back.

I had high hopes. I love a small town local place. In their defense, it was towards the end of the day. However, I ordered Brisket/Chicken. Got to my hotel, they gave me Brisket/RIbs. No chicken 😭 Needless to say I was disappointed. The macaroni was Meh. Cole slaw blah.

Ordered moist fatty brisket for my sandwich. Got dry hard old brisket. Pinto beans tasted like they were canned beans. Very disappointed

Bought ribs to go and they were tough and dry. Spent $68 on 3 Rob plates to go and were so disappointed. Not thrilled with Bodacious!

FIRST AND LAST TIME we’ll eat here. Sometimes you can just tell by the look of the meat how bad it’s going to taste. The sliced brisket was dry. The turkey was almost like Jell-O and the sausage just couldn’t have been more plain. I would give this one star except for the fact the elderly owner was there and he came by the table to check on us but we didn’t have the heart to tell him how bad it was. On top of this they have three TVs with no sound and no music playing… We can only hear the sound of a screaming child. Oh well… We tried. At least they took credit cards where Soulmans BBQ didn’t.

I have decided that I will no longer be dining at Bodacious because some of the evening employees cant seem to act respectfully and will deliberately make my food wrong. I have been spending at least $10 every day for over 2 years now but you have finally gotten your wish for me not to spend my money here. Rude and sarcasm is not needed when talking to me even the last time I didnt tell the boss but now I don't have to even hear him apologize for the rudeness. Yall will watch me go to Soulmans from now on. June 19 at 7:10 watch your store video mr boss man. Wads of fat when i ask for lean meat and cut to be tough and stringy. Tell her thanks a lot. And remove the private information she required me to give in order to pay for my food.
