I used to come to this spot back in the day for half price burgers on Monday and it's been on my mind if they still did it. Turns out they started it the day I came back without seeing any ads for it. I ordered a bacon burger and cheesy fries as an add on boy it did not disappoint I will say I wish I got just a little bit more fries other than that no complaints. Restrooms were very clean considering it is basically a bar. It is very family friendly too they have a playground outside. Overall I will be back.

Enjoyed their frozen margarita and pulled pork nachos at a good price even out of happy hour. They have an extensive draft beer menu and several frozen drinks. The seating is about equally divided between indoor, covered patio, and open patio. Their staff were very hospitable, even near closing time. They share a big parking lot with a big strip mall of businesses. If it's open, next door is a great place for cookies after your meal.

Doc’s Backyard Grill is a fantastic spot for classic American-style food, great drinks, and an all-around relaxed vibe. The food was solid across the board, and they have a really nice beer selection along with good cocktails. The real standout, though, is the patio and outdoor seating area. It’s spacious, comfortable, and perfect for hanging out—especially if you have kids. The playground is a huge bonus and honestly one of my favorite features. I love a place where kids can play while adults enjoy their food and drinks without stress. Service was great too—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with good food, good beer, and an amazing outdoor setup for families, Doc’s Backyard Grill is a winner.

Try few of their finger foods, all are good. Lot of space both indoor and outdoor. Happy hours offer good value for your money. Service is hit or miss on the day i visited, depends on who is serving your table.

Overall pretty good. My wife and cousin both had salads that were huge and reasonably priced. However I’ve seen printer paper thicker than my chicken fried steak. Don’t let that crucial you in the photo. The meat was scarce.

Good food and decent prices. They have great queso that does NOT have cilantro (for any fellow soapy cilantro sufferers out there) as long as you ask to remove the pico or ask for it on the side. Their salsa is good if you like cilantro. I got the chicken tenders with fries and a side salad. The tenders were really nice and juicy, but the breading was falling off a bit and they weren't as breaded as I typically like a tender to be. That being said, they were still good and I would recommend them. I do wish it came with more than 3 tenders though. Mine were on the larger side and I think 4 would've been the perfect amount. The fries are decent - crunchy and fluffy in the center, but they did feel a little on the dry side inside. They give a large portion as well. The side salad was an average salad, but would've been better with maybe half the cheese that comes with it. My friend got the cheeseburger, onion rings, and a side salad as well. She loved the burger, and it was a good size. It came with a pickle that wasn't the greatest, a little limp. The onion rings were huge and really good, and were also a good portion. They are thick, and have a thicker batter on them, and to me just needed a little bit more salt. The onion inside was cooked perfectly as well and was easy to bite through, not slimy and the onion didn't all come out of the batter when trying to take a bite. She had the same complaint about the cheese on the salad. We would definitely come back!

Service was excellent! We sat outside and enjoyed the patio. The food came out quickly, typical bar food menu. I believe the outdoor play area and dog friendly atmosphere makes it worth a visit.

Came during their happy hour and ordered the black bean burger w/ sweet potato fries and a $5 classic margarita on the rocks. The food felt fresh which I appreciated and my marg hit. Our server was very nice! My brother and his girlfriend ordered the cheese burger and they said it was very filling. If you’re looking for a family friendly sports bar this is your place. I recommend for a casual hang.

This is a great place to drink Texas beer and have your kids playing nearby. The service was fast and friendly, but the food was terrible. It was edible but half-assed- the fries were bland and my chicken fried steak was a huge glob of deep fried breading surrounding a thin flavorless sliver of beef. There's no pride in the kitchen, but for drinking beer under the trees with your kids nearby it's quite nice.

We visited on a weekday, during happy hour to specifically explore the appetizers. We did the fried pickles, fried mushrooms, cheese tots and quesadillas. Pickles and quesadillas were good, cheese tots were decent, however the fried mushrooms lacked flavor. Dip that came with the appetizers was a nice touch, bringing everything up a notch. Our service was good, however the QR code/ordering system needs some refinement. Decent place for appetizers especially with happy hour prices. Will visit again!
