We've enjoyed the free dance lessons three times now. Each time my wife tries a new drink. So far her favorite is the Rodeo Queen. It's a sweet drink that's pretty much dessert. We took advantage of the drink special when someone spun the wheel but we didn't know what a cherry bomb was until after we ordered it. Tasted like cough syrup. Not a fan...We've tried a couple appetizers too. The Idaho nachos are a generous portion, perfect for sharing. The street tacos are delicious! Not as easily shared though. The dance instruction is fun. We're still learning about the bingo and look forward to more lessons.

I’ve been here a few times the food isn’t anything wild and flavor or that is different than most bars. However, the vibe and the people and the staff are over the top. the regulars are very welcoming and excited to teach you any of the dances that are going on.

They were AMAZING! We rented the Broadway Room for a Birthday party and the staff was fantastic! We had our own waitresses and between 5 and 9, we got special attention. Thank you, Steele Creek, Ford making my wife's 60th Birthday super special

Really liked the ribs and Texas link. The drinks were great! Cornbread was sweet!

Such a fun place to catch a concert! Celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary there seeing Walker Hayes. Can't wait to go back for another concert soon! Quality food selection as well.

Great atmosphere with some fantastic music! The burger and fries were absolutely delicious and the drinks were great! Prices weren't too bad either. I will definitely be back here in the future!

I came to Steel Creek after PBR at the Tacoma Dome! It was absolutely packed, and even though my order got mixed up, Jess was truly the sweetest and most patient person. She handled everything with such kindness! Steel Creek is a lively, busy spot so be sure to bring your cowboy boots and get ready for goood time 🤪

Great service, fun atmosphere and the food was very good. Both drinks and food were reasonably priced. We went during Happy Hour twice, realatively early, so it was fairly quiet. Looks like it would be a blast later on.

Steel Creek is the best country bar in the Seattle area! Great vibe, music, and energy. But the highlight every time I go is the bartender Cass! She’s incredible! Not only is she super friendly and fast, but she literally knows my drink before I even get my card out! That kind of service and attention makes the whole experience even better. Steel Creek is lucky to have her behind the bar!

Food and drinks are great! You might end up waiting for a drink if you don’t insert yourself quickly to the bar! The dance floor is unfortunately small and there’s no room to even try to do different line dances to the same songs. Tables can be hard to come by if you don’t get in early. Cover charge is also $10

Went on the Saturday night of Labor Day weekend. Had BBQ wings that were your basic bar food with a friendly server. Dancing was fabulous! Mix of country swing, two step, and line dancing. Good mix of music and a solid floor.

I haven't eaten here yet but the service is amazing and the atmosphere! I love the free dance lessons! I just hop right in without knowing the footwork and learn as I'm going and nobody complains. They are super friendly to people just learning the footwork. I grew up in Texas as a child although I was born in Washington State. With that being said I do have previous experience with country line dancing but it still takes time to learn the new moves. I went on a free dance lesson day by myself and was teamed up with a dance partner. It's so much fun I'd definitely recommend this little piece of Southern vibes to anyone! BTW I gave the food 4 stars even though I haven't eaten anything because tonight they had $1.00 basket of wings!

So much fun! Line dance after line dance. Plenty of songs for swing and two step as well! Great atmosphere. The lessons were fun too!

*Disclaimer* This place becomes only 21 and older after 9pm. We went specifically for the line dancing lessons at 8 and we had so much fun! The dance floor can get a bit crowded, but it was such a fun time

The food was great. We had the fish and chips and beef sliders. They should have national cut fries in place of the season fries. Season fries are for children. Natural cut or steak fries are a bit more fit for this menu. As far as the dancing just a bit too much line dancing. What ever happened to the two-step? All in all this place seems like a really good time. We had a great waiter.

My wife and I were in on Saturday for a concert. We had an exceptional time! Our bartender Cassidy had about 20 tables to serve and make drinks for. We were blown away by her professionalism and attentiveness. The concert was fantastic. Food was on par 👍🏼

The food here is fire, bringing southern hospitality to the northwest! Great people. Monthly homemade dessert. Great whiskey selection. I was told this spot was a night club, it is not JUST a night club the food come for the food stay for the 2 Step!!

This is a great place. I've been there 6 times this year, after a concert or the PBR and have had an absolute amazing time! Very friendly staff from the doormen to the bartenders, very professional. Absolutely great crowd of people who are there, ive made some new friends there this year. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in Tacoma. 😊😊

Steel Creek was one of the few choices for a local cabaret, if not the only choice but thankfully it was a wonderful time. Steel Creek is a country music themed restaurant featuring some southwestern inspired food, solid drinks and above all, a great place for line dancing and a good time. The service is a little hit or miss, depending on the server, being that many of them are very young and generally inexperienced but that's not a fault, just an observation. The food is "okay" in my standard but generally it's a better dining experience than your average bar, chain restaurant or average take out choices. Basically elevated bar food, the food was at least well presented and the prices aren't terrible, especially adding in the atmosphere and the option to take free line dance lessons 4 nights a week, Steel Creek is worth checking out.

This place plays very good country music. I had fun when I went here. There was a party celebrating a 21st birthday and they enjoyed the music too.Definitely coming back!

Fun place for good food and drinks. We were able to watch country dance lessons that started at 8p.

Server was fantastic. Drinks were good. Food tasted good, but arrived cold. So cold, the butter didn't melt on the steak, and the cheese sauce on the Philly curdled. Didn't complain to manager because it was edible, and what could they do about it? But I sure couldn't finish as it was just gross. Good beers on tap, excellent liquor selection, but food not so good. As a side note, we arrived at 5:10 pm and were 2 of about 6 customers. Not sure why our food came out cold. Gross.

Decent spot. I’m from Arizona just moved to the area after years away. This is a far cry from the country bars and dance floors I’m used to. Very pop and hip hop oriented. Music on the floor is a little quiet, heavy line dance rotations. Seating is pretty weak for how busy it is - y’all gotta find some extra seats or standing bars to set up! I’ll probably come back from time to time but wish this was a little more authentic.

The line dancing lessons here are great and the people are welcoming even though I'm not the most coordinated 😅 Food is OK, pulled pork has been quite dry more often than not but their mac & cheese is decent

The bar it’s self great vibe great food the workers though are on different spectrums they skip you while your in line one bartender tells you there’s a deal on bear another charges you full price 7 bucks a beer

The place is clean and the staff was nice. If your looking for a decent meal this probably ain’t the place. The food is average if that. The flat Iron steak meals didn’t appear to look to be to appetizing. so we had the Wild West burger with sweet potato fries and regular fries. Had better from Carl’s Jr. (Bacon western cheeseburger) I will say I eat my food however the bang for the buck is not there. I probably won’t go back, average food that cost to much for average taste.

I come here regularly as I love to dance but they have taken my drinks or even my food more than once when its been half consumed while I’ve been on the dance floor. I’m more than happy to clear my own drinks or food especially when I get them from the bar but it is quite frustrating to consume only half of what you pay for and have someone take it away and trash it. I just want to be able to eat and drink while taking a break to dance. Please stop having staff clear plates without confirming with guests about their food or drinks.

Love coming here for dancing, good mix of partner dancing and line dancing, but it’s getting crowded and they are upping prices and cutting corners. No more water dispensers, you have to buy bottled water. The cover charge increased to $10. And even if you wait 15 minutes in the pouring rain because their screening process is slower than molasses (probably intentionally), they could care less and ask you to pay for waiting in their line until it’s after 9. It’s the only place in town with line dancing so I still go back, but today I’m fed up.

Crazy aggressive bouncers for no reason. Sorry I didn't know your bar had a cover. When I'm walking out after 15 minutes of being in there don't be aggressive and try to make me pay in retrospect.

Unless you know every single move to the line dancing... do NOT come here. Not on a Friday; not on a Saturday. They have bouncers that'll kick you off the floor if you don't know every move. You'll be exiled to a tiny dark place with a small dance floor. It's nothing like I've ever seen before. It’s like Road House here.

To be one of the few restaurants open at midnight and charging a $10 cover to get food is ridiculous! Ending up eating M&Ms and cookies at the hotel.

Ok…. This is probably a fun place to party. But don’t expect much from the late night menu. Unless you have had plenty to drink. I am staying down the street and got in late. I was just wanting dinner, late dinner, but dinner nonetheless. I chose the burger. The menu offered a bbq, 1/2 lbs burger with bacon, cheese and onion ring. A little much for a late meal, but I had eaten nothing ALL day. (Not true: I had a piece of cheese at 11:30 this morning, so almost nothing). The burger came with fries. The waiter was polite and helpful. The price was fare, twenty two bucks with tax. That’s dang near what a Mickey D’s burger and fries cost these days. The meal was ordered to go. Now…I’m not sure what went wrong. I was told the burger would be out in about 15min. It took a bit longer, but not that much. My walk back to my hotel was three min. I must have been abducted by aliens, gone through a time continuum or blacked out from the strong glass of water I drank while waiting for my dinner. Because that burger was cold when I took it out of the container. Not cool, not “not hot”, but colder than the room temp. The bun was stale, bacon was hard and the onion ring was soggy. Don’t even get me started on the fries. You know how leftover fries taste when you try to eat them a couple hours after you’re too full to finish your meal? Well those would be better than these fries were. Remember, I said I had not eaten ALL day? Well, I still haven’t. After three hungry bites of that burger, I could not take any more. I kept trying to get a decent fry out of the bunch and finally threw in the towel after about six of the unpleasant suckers. If I was to compare this burger with past burgers I would have to put it right up there with the school lunch room burgers of my long ago high school years. It won’t kill you, but you would have to be a starving teen to get it down. I gave the server 4 stars instead of 5 because he should have been able to tell he was serving me a cold burger and fries. Otherwise he was great!!!

The bartenders sucked so badly and ruined my night. Dancing around instead of making drinks while people are waiting in line for 45 minutes is crazy. Me and my boyfriend ordered the same drink and the tender gave him a bigger cup than me why is that??😂😂😭 WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK EVERRR attention seeking bartenders ew

The place it’s great and alive, good drinks and music . The reason for 1 star is the unprofessional and very hostile attitude that came from Nate one of the bartenders . There was absolutely no reason for him to disrespect and speak the way he does with the costumers He does make the place look really bad and not welcoming.I will also reach out to the management and make a formal complaint and hope Nate receives some training on how to work with humans in an established of such .

DO NOT GO HERE unless you’re a straight white guy. I got harassed by a group of dudes even after I told them I’m gay and not interested. (One of them tried to offer me money…) AND one of the security guards called my friend (whose birthday it was) a homophobic slur on his way out of the bar. EXTREMELY unprofessional behavior by members of staff. Food was okay and reasonably priced I guess

I was given 0 opportunity to enter the bar because the bouncers both thought I was drinking even though I was just done with a 12 hr shift and was tired walking up to the bar. Will not be returning. They can find business with other people who are “less intoxicated.”

Wanna be country bar that charges 10 bucks to get in only to pay for overpriced drinks as well. Lots of dudes pretend to be cowboys on the weekends because they’ve seen one too many episodes of Yellowstone. If space is too tight you’ll have a random dude place their hand on the small of your back. The tables are small. And you’ll have dudes and chicks openly smoking dab pens (weed vape pens) so if you’re military beware. It’s cash only at the door to get in, probably so they can underreport their earnings to the IRS.

Looks like a fun place but the security is so extra. We saw security rip wristbands off multiple people as if they’re too drunk when they’re just hanging out having a good time. I’ve been to many different places but these guys act like cops who have a goal of cutting off as many people as possible. I will not be returning.
